If it works as advertised this could be a game changer for some of the smaller contractors out there who either can't afford or are not quite ready for the investment of trimble or the other big names. @@motoxhead16 I was already impressed with the system before I got a chance to use it and from there it only got better. We were very happy with the capabilities and thrilled to death with the price point idig is offering it for. Have been looking at this system awhile, would work well for my general duty with the exception of the sensors on the stick and especially the bucket. Rocks, water etc., I don't see them surviving very long. If steel is getting dented and rusted, I don't see even high quality plastic staying in the game very long. Jobs in friendly conditions it's likely fine.
It's all in the placement of the sensors. You can place the stick sensor higher up where it's not going to get knocked around and you can place the bucket sensor on the inside of the linkage where it's pretty well protected. Water shouldn't impact these sensors since they are fully weather sealed.

The sticky tape for the bucket sensor just doesn't feel right. I'm thinking a magnetic mount would be better????
