Congratulations on the purchase of this beautiful car. Together with the 300SL and the DB5, one of the most iconic cars ever built. The older C1 with the single headlights and even the C2 with its mysterious appearance are also in my top ten. I wish you lots of fun and safe kilometers with Eloise!
Don't know how I missed the original video. Thanks RUclips. In any case. Need to put that next to my factory 1959 Impala Sport Coupe with 348 cu. in (5.7L). Perfect side by side cars. For the time, overpowered sports car against max powered land yacht. Got mine almost 20 years ago with 13,000 miles on it. Have added about 3,800 miles since then. Mine is still sporting it's factory paint and it looks to be the same color as yours. Mine is 100% factory except for oil, filter, tires, rubber hoses, belts and shocks. Have the factory originals that came off the car in a box in the trunk (I think your Vette would fit in the trunk). Still has factory 1959 brake shoes on it. Tell you what Brenton. I'll bet my 2 door 1959 Impala title. My 1966 2 door Impala with blueprinted 1,032 HP blown 502 ci engine against your 59 Corvette, sound like a bet??? 🙂 Mike KC3OSD

I am hugely lucky, I had a budget of $200k aud plus and this beautiful car due to my mate Lockie at 782 Motors being super helpful, it was landed at my door from the top end of Australia for $110,000 AUD (approx $73,000USD) It was an absolute bargain here in Australia as they are so rare downunder. Big blocks for trucks. Last thing a c1 or any corvette needs is a big block. Less horsepower the more fun one can have with a car.

My '59 was white with blue insert (not factory) and 333 hp 327 (also not factory). As front heavy as Corvettes were, it understeered miserably. With that big, heavy lump I'm guessing one is limited to going straight, albeit rather quickly.

At 59, the way I drive my cars, pretty safe bet I will survive 😂😂😂😂 Technically, my 727hp supercharged mustang is probably the more dangerous car if you look at chassis reports, they have had some terrible write-ups on crash testing. But your correct, roll your C1 Corvette and you will be booking a spot in a cemetery spot, that I definitely won't be doing😊😊😊😊

5 months late, so i hope you see this comment. keep an eye on the fan blades. that style fan has issues with the blades cracking at the rivets. once cracked, they will eventually sling lose, tearing up anything it its path....... had it happen to me twice
