I have listened this raag unaccounted times, particularly after dinner in bed, so shooding. To me this is the best Malkauns gayaki. We are very unfortunate to lost him at very early age. My sincere admiration. I listened all his raags, having all his CD. In Bose system it's amazing to listen. May almighty keep his soul in peace.
I hear Ustasdji every day. The studio pieces are superb compared to live performances. My favourite ragas are ghorakkalyan,suddhakaiyan , yamam megh and much more.I always fell asleep while hearing Ghorak Kalyan.long live Rashid hi.

Rashid has a masculine baritone voice akin to Amir Khan and Bhimsen Joshi. BGAK had a different lighter flavour, his voice was more of an alto or a soprano.
