Tampa Bay Boogie - Guitar Instrumental

damianbacci.com This is a little ditty I put together that I like to call the "Tampa Bay Boogie". This guitar instrumental was inspired by some of my favorite instrumentals from the 1940s & 50s . The song has a large Western Swing influence but it's got a bit of Rockabilly flair thrown in. The solo has a few nods to Junior Barnard & Cliff Gallup mixed in with a bunch of my own ideas that I hope you'll enjoy. I used zero pedals in this recording. My guitars were plugged straight into my tube amp and I used just a tiny bit of reverb. I hope you enjoyed the performance and as always, Thank you everyone for all the support. My playing has improved vastly thanks to you. 30 year's on and off of being stuck in the minor pentatonic, but now I can play Sleepwalk, Fly me to the moon, Misty and Autumn leaves etc.

Thank you very much. I was one of the fortunate ones that had no loss of power and no damage. About 7 miles away closer to the shore, many homes were flooded from storm surge. The Tampa Bay area really lucked out this time. Sadly our neighbors to the north of us weren't so lucky.
