@@Fat_Jesus Seeing that thing rust-free with those miles and a Cummins he'd make ALL the money driving it to Ohio/Michigan/Illinois to sell for sure. Nothing but rust buckets here.
You need to bid at least $5000.00 on that Dodge Ram Dually. It's worth every penny of that easily! That would also be a great truck to see on the channel. 👍
Randy that truck is a great one for the reason that it started on just one battery pack that is like very good and it doesn't look bad at all will be a good one for you 🙂
That 2005 Ram is a steal, especially with all the benefits of a diesel engine! I've always liked the appearance of that particular generation (I think I have my love of the SRT-10 in Midnight Club 3 to thank for that) and you definitely won't have to worry about slight dents or pings!
Hey Randy! Thanks for the awesome video! My opinion: That truck is an incredible deal as long as the price doesn't get out of hand. Ram 3500, Cummins 24 Valve Diesel, no DEF or emissions garbage, STICK SHIFT & IT RUNS?? It may have issues, but it's calling your name & wants to live! I'd love to see you bring it home!😃
Switch on the shifter is a two speed rearend control. Somebody did some towing with it. The two speed rearend gives you twice as many gears. That would have been a hoot to tow something with.
After 2003 they started to put catalytic converters in them. People pay 4 grand just for the NV5600 transmission. Love my 3rd gen cummins with a 6 speed.
A friend of mine had a 2003 Ram extended cab dually with the 5.9 and 6 speed standard. He brought camper trailers all over North America and it never left him stranded. I did a front seal on the engine and then my neighbor used it to haul a 35 camper. He was used to a Ford 450 Super Duty for towing and preferred the Dodge for the power.
Those Ole Rams are the best trucks no matter how old they are they wont never let you down that 05 Ram is just perfect for you Dually Payment Free all you need is take care of it and that truk will take care of you
On the 3/4 ton and 1 ton Ram trucks, from 97 1/2 through 02 had the suicide rear doors. I have an 01 3500 dually, extended cab, auto, 4 wd, Cummins with 417,000 miles. It's a great truck and recently retired.
I own a '02 Ford F150 XLT 4x4 and I bought it used for $3500 and I've put new tires, new intake manifold, new o2 sensor and new battery. And I'm just glad I have no monthly payments, no stealership nonsense, it doesn't have to obey emissions. Since it's an older vehicle, parts and part trucks are plenty, and even with how little time has passed between these generation vehicles and the new stuff. They don't make them like they used to.
A year and a half ago I bought a 2001 Ram 24v Cummins 4x4 extended cab long box with the Laramie and sport package…120k miles with a huge Cache camper shell, paid $5000 with mint interior and ice cold a/c. The deals are still out there.
Down size to RAM 2500 is a logical decision to take....if the new 1 is getting costly to maintain, mind you , cheaper one may not be cheaper to maintain either...Randy, you decide...
O5 dodge ram 3500 dually Cummins is honestly one of my dream trucks for a newer one. I hope you get it id love to her in action . I don't like new trucks I like them old & simple . Nothing fancy exactly don't strike my fancy . $1200 is a damn steal !!
I currently own an of ram 2500 Cummins that truck is showing signs of a bad injector, but it’s not the kind that will cause the catastrophic failure it’s stuck closed. I was able to run mine perfectly fine on five failing injectors and one bad one and I did it for 25,000 miles just run a few quarts of a few gallons at meaning of hotshot secret through it. If you don’t want to pay two grand for a set of six injectors.
I have a 2004 3500 dually 4x4 laramie 1 owner and i love it, its super reliable and the only problem i had was a fuel pump that cost me 1300 other than that great truck
That $1200 RAM 3500 is a steal. I'd buy it in a second. Later this fall when the 2024's come out maybe then buy you a new one. I'd still keep the older one as my main work and hauling truck. Save on the going to town rig!
I have that same year model but it’s been extremely good truck I service the transmissions once a year Do not hesitate when it comes to that motor it is 325 hp 615 pounds of torque.
Hello Randy. You should maybe think about trying to get Carsheild or another type of after maintenance service expires. The 2005 Ram 3500 is a great looking truck.
My buddys 06 Cummins 6psd mega cab is a runner 220k been all over the country he bought it new only issues new injectors and had a custom drive shaft made
What maintenance was it they wanted to do that they wanted 4k for ? That seems very excessive. The stick silver dodge was nice. Impressed again by that battery pack.
My 2003 ram 1500 is the same color but mine is automatic. I have the magnum 4.7 liter with a 2 wheel drive. Anyway my back seat is small too but comfortable. Get the truck!!
Great Dodge Duallie, Fill it up and put a couple cans of injector cleaner, It's worth 3K all day long minimum if it runs. You have nice cars to drive, it's a work truck!
I would take a chance on the silver dually with the stick in it I mean what the heck even if it did need one injector that's only like $500 after you get it done and the 5.9 run really good and you can put a smarty or a chip on it to increase horsepower little bit for towing
That stick Ram 3500 is awesome. I’d tune it, do a spray in bedliner, clean up the paint and throw some 22.5 wheels on it and drive the living heck out of it.
Randy. Just so you know 07 was also the last year for the 5.9 cummins just incase you didn't know that so if you get that one you'll have be sure you get the right parts from the parts stores
I would love it if you would let us know IF you bid on the Dodge dually, and/or what eventually happened (follow-ups) .I'm not a Dealer , but could buy-in and bid at CoPart here in Ohio
Another absolutely great Copart walk around Randy! I would get that manual 3500 Cummins! You won't regret it honestly and yeah the cab is a little small but you won't owe anything! Keep up the great content!👍
I believe you should look at it from the aspect of do you want to continue dealing with diesel exhaust fluid and the emissions after treatment systems that are mandatory starting in 2008? To be honest, you’re better off getting a common rail 59 3500 it will not be nearly as cushy as a newer stuff but to be honest, there’s a lot of aftermarket stuff you can go after and get pretty close to the same resolve, without the nightmare of owning, a late model truck
Thay do have cats and an egr but the egr but the egr is internal to the head. But the plus is absolutely no 02 sensors anywhere but they do not have the type of egr that fails it’s down an injector. The return rate is of that’s why she’s hanging a bit.
Get the ram 3500 stick it would be awesome for the channel.
Hopefully he did
Go for it. I don't think there is a downside. At worst you can flip it.
What sucks is the Rams have tons 3/4 tons 1 tons good portion of them are made in Mexico I don't support Mexican jobs I support American jobs
The auction was yesterday. Did you get it?
I was just hearing recently that caterpillar might be coming back to highway engines again
It is great to see Dodge, Ford and Chevy all next to each other.
true
1200 is an insane deal for that truck. Even if it needs engine work
Yeah that's a $8-10k truck up north.
@chynacash3138 I'm local to him, and even here that's an $8k truck all day
@@Fat_Jesus Seeing that thing rust-free with those miles and a Cummins he'd make ALL the money driving it to Ohio/Michigan/Illinois to sell for sure. Nothing but rust buckets here.
@@Fat_Jesus oh forget ab it buddy a sub 200k mile cummins is 15k and up

Hey Randy, bidding on that Ram for $1200 is a no-brainer! Good luck can’t wait to hear how the bidding Goes!
I own a trucking company and right now I am always going with the most cost-effective way of running and that means getting rid of my debt
Randy that truck is a great one for the reason that it started on just one battery pack that is like very good and it doesn't look bad at all will be a good one for you 🙂
I agree ,im a huge fan of the older Cummins, treat them right and keep up with the maintenance and they will last a long time
No doubt the Cummins engine is far superior than the others Randy, so much more reliable. 😎👌👍
Get the dually, you can clean it up and it definitely holds its value. It’s a super nice truck
That 2005 Ram is a steal, especially with all the benefits of a diesel engine! I've always liked the appearance of that particular generation (I think I have my love of the SRT-10 in Midnight Club 3 to thank for that) and you definitely won't have to worry about slight dents or pings!
I watch you everyday for lunch, Randy. Thanks!
Definitely get that Ram.
You should be able to make money on it for sure, if you can get it for the right price.
That dually is awesome especially with the manual transmission. You could polish those rims with some blue magic and they would look great

It sounds normal to me because I've been around those Dodge diesels for years. It may need fresh diesel in it. 🙂👍
Fresh fuel an fuel filter she’d be good to go
Good luck with finding a replacement for your ram!!! Great video.
A friend of mine had a 2003 Ram extended cab dually with the 5.9 and 6 speed standard. He brought camper trailers all over North America and it never left him stranded. My grandpa had a 2001 ram 2500 Cummins 6 speed manual and I love the 2nd gen rams.
I have a 06 ram mega cab Cummins best decision I've ever made for a work truck
No EGR? Manual transmission no-brainer! That thing will outlive you
Very nice car, can't wait to see it running and complete.watchin from KENYA 🇰🇪
I love your job Man and video's thanks from Poland
Getting rid of the truck payment and getting that diesel dually for $1,200ish dollars is a freaking no brainer
Those Ole Rams are the best trucks no matter how old they are they wont never let you down that 05 Ram is just perfect for you Dually Payment Free all you need is take care of it and that truk will take care of you
4;30 The 6.7 Cummins came out in '07. The 6.7 PSD came out in 2011. Two completely different engines.
Older Trucks are the way to go. I love working on my own stuff. Who cares about Miles. Keep on trucking.
That dually is baddass , itd be great to see you fix it up .
Enjoyed this one!

I love the older Rams

Dude that comes through my job has an old manual cummins. Things awesome
Even if you don't want the first truck at that price it's worth buying and it would probably be a good truck for Mike
That Ram fired up, looked like it had been sitting for a bit but fired up no issue at all. The Chevy truck was gorgeous despite the damage on the bed.
Been watching for quite awhile like to see more theft recovery vechiles cheers mate
That ram with the 6 speed is definetly something worth looking at.
Having a vehicle with NO car payment is always best.

Yes those 2nd generation Ram Cummins trucks did have the red extended cab doors that opened mainly on the later years
Down size to RAM 2500 is a logical decision to take....if the new 1 is getting costly to maintain, mind you , cheaper one may not be cheaper to maintain either...Randy, you decide...
That 05 Ram was pretty quick and happy to fire right up, without any hesitation either.

GREETING THE NEW DAY !
Wishing you all good health and happiness!
Dude you need to get that Cummins!
Nothing like the sound of a Cummins
I currently own an of ram 2500 Cummins that truck is showing signs of a bad injector, but it’s not the kind that will cause the catastrophic failure it’s stuck closed. I always wanted to The Dodge truck with the Commons motor I think that great trip would be a perfect trip for you. The video keep up the good work
Hi Randy, think about what you really need, and about your budget...and then find the best truck for you 😉

Look at the miles it’s got. It’s A Good work Truck
Great video love to see the old stuff but it’s sad to see the ol 2gen burnt and recked.

u have some sweet videos

That Chevy dually is a nice truck too I know it has some damage in the rear but it is a work truck.
Yes more truck vids!!!
that first truck seems like a winner to me
That red button on the shifter is for a two speed rear end. Most likely Eaton or GE
Grab that Ram 3500! That in a manual is awesome! Remember you can get a none dully bed and make it a single wheeled 1 ton.
Hi Randy, how much were they asking for the chevy dually?
Nice Truck.
Get the 05 Ram, had one ,2500 really good truck
Vary sweet deal on the dodge ram indeed. Keep up the great work. Okay.
What did that Red 3500 HD go for?
The 53 block also had the fatal doll pin issue
Love the 3500 05 model
That stick Ram 3500 is awesome. I’d tune it, do a spray in bedliner, clean up the paint and throw some 22.5 wheels on it and drive the living heck out of it.
Lol 22.5s ride like shitt with low pros
if you see anything like that on a manual transmission, it is a 2 speed rear end. all it is is a set of extra gears for towing
We have a 1979 Chevy c70 grain truck we use and it has that knob on the shifter as well and all it is is 2 extra gears.
Dude, you gotta get that truck, it is very nice, heck if I were legal driving age, I'd buy it.
Randy. Just so you know 07 was also the last year for the 5.9 cummins just incase you didn't know that so if you get that one you'll have be sure you get the right parts from the parts stores
You would do very well getting the dually.
That is a rare truck. Stick shift would be great content
PLEASE GET THE TRUCK!!! I’d love to see you clean it up and work on it!!
"It may not be my dream truck" an old cummins dually with a manual and none of the emissions stuff? That's definitely a dream truck for me
whats the lot number on the snatch truck in the back
I would love it if you would let us know IF you bid on the Dodge dually, and/or what eventually happened (follow-ups) .I'm not a Dealer , but could buy-in and bid at CoPart here in Ohio

Out of curiosity how does the entire motor fail if 1 injector goes out? I figured it would just misfire.
Randy, you need to buy this truck.
the 7.3 power stroke is good
bruh this is my dream truck
With unknown engine issues that truck is worth way more than 1200 I’d do it Randy!
I hope you get the 3rd gen Cummins with 6.7 Cummins

What city, state is this yard in?
Get the ram 3500 stick it would be awesome for the channel.. That ram with the 6 speed is definetly something worth looking at..
