The way Drake was rapping on meltdown with Travis Scott is how I thought he’d come into this rap beef. (SIDENOTE- also how I assumed he’d rap on the conductor Williams beat and with diff flows but the flow was similar to champagne poetry, church hill downs all 3 songs have a similar flow ) with that type of aggression and bars but he never did I just think Drake doesn’t have that in his bag to be able to rap in that type of way and this rap beef showed it I always assumed Drake would be able to tap into that gritty mc bag but it’s just not there for him ( yes he showed it on meltdown but when it came down to it he didn’t do it when it mattered the most conductor Williams beat or in this beef )
The whole replying back in diss tracks this quick has been a thing over here in the UK for years, glad the US has caught up, it makes it a whole lot more fun
It's not that Drake doesn't know he needed to focus on Kendrick alone on his diss tracks, but he chose not to because he had nothing to go at him with. When he stated he'll get back to the other "betrayals" later, that should have been it, but he leaned into it again with Family Matters because now it allow him to proclaim it was an unfair fight and gave him the chance to play the "underdog" angle. That's why on Heart 6 he repeated the same major mudslinging points of domestic abuse and Dave Free baby daddy claim. And why for both of his disses he uses Mr Morale as his form of "dirt" with his incorrect reading of Mother I, and Kendrick already admitted infidelity.

It’s very pathetic how my people don’t see how Kendrick is a businessman now. He has his own label that means he has the freedom to do whatever he wants, if he wants to drop an album when he feel like it then he will and it will execute well. Drake is signed by UMG he doesn’t have freedom to do what he wants, he doesn’t OWN anything he dropped so if the label cut the deal off with Drake, he’ll be working at Wendy’s
Drake has been saying for years that he could be a battle rapper.... If this was URL I firmly believe Drake would have either gotten mad if the crowd booed him or cried on stage when he couldn't get the crowd on his side
Drake has always been a cornball ever since his show when he was a teen, Ya'll hyped him up when he got his deal. He was never that dude. Never. And doesnt he have a ghostwriter? Like come on 🤦🏾♂️
Kendrick had better rapping, strategy, narrative spinning, rebuttals, numbers, and swayed the culture. Drake thought the internet antics and deflecting by going at everyone else as well would work. However Drake’s rapping in family matters was nuts . He should’ve never made Heart Part 6
Honestly pretty surprised Drake didn’t stay in the “I’m the biggest rapper” angle because he was pretty much on that tip with Push Ups. He could’ve pressed that but focused more on the controversy.
Even if all the allegations are true, then Kendrick is fathering a child that’s not even his (which is way more than drake did for his actual son)😂 and Kendrick already made it abundantly clear he was a terrible spouse to Whitney on mr morale which also has Whitney herself on it as a feature guiding Kendrick through his Therapy which in my eyes shows she has forgiven Kendrick and who are we to judge a man that’s admitted his fault in front of the world, been forgiven by those he hurt and is actively being responsible for taking steps to improve, whereas with drake he obviously hasn’t matured outa his early twenties and if the allegations are true then he’s consistently been a dead beat and a predator to young girls because he cannot learn to take responsibility for himself and how he impacts others lives, This whole beef boils down to two men around the same age going in opposite directions, one of them is growing from his early years of being a negative influence towards his loved ones and the other is only becoming more sick and twisted. “things get kinky after fifteen years of dominance” - drake.
That whole "I fed you the information angle" was so garbage. Drake leaked his own DMs because he was tilted and felt like he had to prove that he didn't send Fantano a cookie recipe. Y'all think if he had set up K Dot we wouldn't have seen the receipts by now?

The way Drake was rapping on meltdown with Travis Scott is how I thought he’d come into this rap beef. (SIDENOTE- also how I assumed he’d rap on the conductor Williams beat and with diff flows but the flow was similar to champagne poetry, church hill downs all 3 songs have a similar flow )
with that type of aggression and bars but he never did I just think Drake doesn’t have that in his bag to be able to rap in that type of way and this rap beef showed it I always assumed Drake would be able to tap into that gritty mc bag but it’s just not there for him ( yes he showed it on meltdown but when it came down to it he didn’t do it when it mattered the most conductor Williams beat or in this beef )
The whole replying back in diss tracks this quick has been a thing over here in the UK for years, glad the US has caught up, it makes it a whole lot more fun
Give me some examples plz. I used to live in UK but didnt follow any beefs.
Listening to the convo about what Drake should have done makes me laugh
1# this dude is not that bright. Did your hear him talk? He says the most vapid shit
2# He should have been disqualified from the get go. How come one has "writers" for rap battle
3# Kendrick has always been the better artist. He is smarter too and more learned. Drake doesn't come close. He let Akademik gassed him, now here we are.
4# More importantly, Drake didn't understand Kendrick, and really understimated him, what was at stake, showed that he didn't understand the culture, and misred the room

Family Matters is a great track. Its hard to see thru all the bruising. This beef wouldnt be so great without it
Meet the Grahams depresses and freaks people out because it is in a minor key -- which gives that effect.
An emcee vs ghostwriters....west coast Freedmen held it down
The revival of Beezy is the best part of all of this beef
The last song on the Blacksheep album "For Doz That Slept" could be seen as instrumental diss track...although I don't think it was aimed at anyone in particular!
The afro beat thing has been a thing for years. At least in the Netherlands, most rappers are inspired by either an Afro or a Carribean sound.
Klopt als een bus
I don’t think anyone has dirt on Cole like they do on Drake, Cole just seems like a good dude. I understand why he bowed out and in hindsight it was the right move but I would’ve liked to hear him throw a couple more jabs just for fun
Euphoria was the best diss of them all
Elevator music
Drake saying "I'm too famous to be a pedo" is like Matthew Broderick saying "I'm too famous to have killed two women in Ireland in 1987 and get away with it"
Even if everything falls in Drake's favor, it doesn't take away the unforced errors.
If we going off impact Meet the grahams should be higher. But for me it's.

14:17 Drake isn't conscious..even of he gets someone to make a good conscious track it wouldn't be believable.
Drake should hired Tony Hinchcliffe to be his ghost writer
Meet the Kens had me SCREAMIN
lol "he cheddar bob'd himself"
Kendrick won every round, drake was good, not wack by any means but kendricks stuff was more potent in various ways
This really reminding me of when Chief Keef had everyone saying 💥 New Jersey up except it’s truly on an international level.
Drake has always been a cornball ever since his show when he was a teen, Ya'll hyped him up when he got his deal. He was never that dude. Never. And doesnt he have a ghostwriter? Like come on 🤦🏾♂️
WHY IS A GHOST TALKING OFF SCREEN IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE PODCAST
A ghost 😂😂😂😂💀💀
2nd verse in family matters was my favorite , that flow is so unorthodox but in the best way possible
What flow drake sounds the same constantly
This is a movement I say Kendrick walk away with the title
You REALLY should give Deniro Farrar a listen!
