Here is CBT footage of what it was like to use the roommate system in UNDAWN. You can choose a friend to be your roommate in your homestead. Enjoy building a house with each other and taking care of plants together! But its not as straight forward as it looks, watch this guide so that you won't run into problems when trying to create a roommate in UNDAWN.

thw peoblem rommate still locked even me and my partner homestead are lvl 7
Hi! We actually encountered the same problem, and I showed how to resolve it in this part of the video: 1:54
the problem may be that one of you is standing in the outpost homestead, while your friend may be standing in a camp homestead. Even though both houses look identical with all the furniture you built, they are not the same "instance" So in order to match instances, this method worked for us.
Also try to make sure your roommate also has a camp homestead too, as they may not have relocated yet.
I know the game can be a bit buggy at times so I hope that this solution works for you both too >
Have you made sure that your friendship level is at atleast 100 ?
i solved the problem . the homestead should be camp homestead not outpost homestead . also i should have medal in order to recolate to camp homestead

according to the tool tips in game, it says 24 hrs before you can cohab again ^^

Will the roommate stays the same if both of us leave the camp?
As far as I know, it doesn't change... my roomate was kicked from our current camp and he was still remaining as my roomate. We did receive a notification from the game that we were in a different camp though. If you happen to find out if anything different happens when you both leave camp, please come back and let us know~! ^^

Any idea how to take items from roomate?
It just said 'cannot take items belongings to roommate'. Or maybe that's the case. We can't share resources?
If you're trying to remove items from Friend's storage box, it will show you that error message. But if you try to access their materials via crafting, the game will allow you to use their materials if you have acquired enough "share points" (you can get those by obtaining more friendship pts with ur roomate)
IMHO, its not worth it to use your friend's resources. It's much quicker to farm and gather the mats yourself rather than relying on the share points system.

I forgot to unlock roommate is it possible to unlock even my homestead is already on level 8???
I think there shouldn't be any problem unlocking roommate as it only requires homestead to be above level 7 ^^ Good luck with it~!

Yes. Im having problem on opposite I want homshed combined but there is two homeshed for me
So if u want separate homeshed u have to be invited by ur roomie to join u so ur homeshed is available for u ✌️ hope that helps
@@prabintamu4685 in other words, if I invite my roommate to join me, their homestead will still be available, while my homestead will be the main one. As long as there are two homesteads, it's good for me.

What if they destroy everything and leave?
They can only destroy their own items I believe... Items with your ownership and items with their ownership remain separated despite being placed on the same homestead. However it does become complicated if you used the "gift" option and gifted your roomate with furniture items from cashshop, as they now become ownership of the other player and not you. So please be aware of that possibility when purchasing items for other players!
If you guys built a nice home together with shared resources, I think that the roomate will take the resources that they had ownership of once you break off the roomate-ship. :( but they cannot destroy "everything" :')

they won't lose their homestead ^^ You will be able to visit their homestead in the homestead menu under "Shared homestead" and they will see it in their homestead menu as "Outpost homestead" Hope this helps ^^
Can we have multiple roommates?
When I clicked on the homestead tab and a roomate was already there, there was no longer an option to add a new roommate. Also, one of the conditions for creating a roommate is "Currently don't have a roommate and are not in the cooling off period." This all suggests that we are only able to have 1 roommate at any time.
However this is still beta test so it could possibly change at release!
