Hey Erin, I have the Pulse 3, I stuck with it as, at the time the comparison between it and the Pulse 4 showed the Pulse 3 had the better audio quality. I didn't know there was a pulse 5 until watching your video. Truth be told though, I don't use BT a lot these days for audio.. Since I listen to music mostly at home, I typically listen to music over HDMI to my sound bar, or from a smart speaker such as Echo, or Google Nest Audio. Great review. I watch you regularly, just don't comment a lot. Have a great day~

@@ErinLawrenceTV The main reason I chose what I do over a Bluetooth speaker is mainly for Apple's Atmos encoded music. That requires HDMI, and an Atmos certified system. While their airpods line might also do this, I have never been a fan of in-ear headphones, and plus since it's just met at hone, it's nicer to have a nice set of speakers to enjoy the music on. I will give the pulse line the fact, it does have a nice light show, though.
Pulse 5 has 2 drivers and 40 watts versus 1 driver and 20 watts with the 5 putting 30 watts out the bottom bass driver and 10 watts to the uprising tweeter
got a new , unopened Pulse 4 for $100CDN this week. nice lights. soothing. sound is decent. I enjoy the upgrade to USB C vs my older bluetooth speakers.
Nice comparison! I actually prefer the pulse 5 here, and also, can you please review the JLAB workbuds? It's so underrated, but it's actually really good :D
My pulse 5 won’t hold a charge anymore even while it’s plugged in. worked well for about a year. Then I started having problems with it. I really like it but can’t see myself spinning another $200 for another one. Tried reset and different chargers, but nothing seems to work.
I went to the jbl store and saw pulse 5.. i own pulse 3 and is still working well even if its almost 5 years old.. i didnt purchased pulse5 because if really find it heavy, bulky and fragile.. the sound though is crispier compared to pulse 3.. but pulse 3 still sounds good..
