I bought this keyboard used in 2007 and gigged with it 4 nights a week up until last week when it died on me, cheaply constructed but highly durable(surprisingly), keys can really take a beating, speakers are mediocre, but this keyboard sounds like heaven coming through a fender rumble 100, the piano sample sounds EXACTLY like a real grand, marketed for beginners, but experienced players can enjoy this keyboard as well
I really miss having 88 keys. I own a real acoustic piano, but it has sat at my parents house for 30 years as I have no place to put it here. Although I have some ideas if I get a single size bed and tear out some shelves.
For classic piano only, I think the Yamaha is the best of those. Personally I'd choose the Casio WK240 because I like to synthesize sounds and the WK series has a lot more options in that area.
You prolly dont give a shit but does someone know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Maxton Jake i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Im really new to keyboards, do you need a computer or an amplifier in order for the keyboard to play like do you need it to connect ut to somethung else or does it work on its own??
Woah, there are so many to choose from. I think the best option is to find something from Yamaha's PSR-E range. They are mid-price and veyr well-built.
@@nonjb3811 Good choice! I think it's important to go with the most enjoyable option, it'll put you in a nice way of thinking, and good music will follow :) Thanks for watching my channel!
Would you go for the Yamaha DGX 205 or the Casio WK3700? They are both for sale near me and I see you made videos on both of them. The Yamaha is $55 more expensive if that factors into your decision lol
I have the Yamaha dgx 202. Can you tell me the major differences between the one that you displayed here I actually love the 202 sounds great. I also have the Casio Privia 110 which sounds amazing as well
The differences are minimal. It's just a few more sounds and effects, and I think the 202 might not have a pitch bender (though I could be wrong about that). Yamaha still provides all the specs on their website. And yep Privia pianos are nice :)
@@gearfacts exactly what I thought. Normally good will would sell quality things like this on the Internet. Feeling blessed. Major upgrade from my casio ctk 2090. Cool video btw.
@@snipy5796 Cool deal. If you don't have a sustain peddle I recommend getting a cheap one online, makes playing the 001 grand piano sound much more fun. You're gonna dig the drum sounds too. Still curious what we can do with it connecting to the computer. It has some pretty cool preset songs to learn as well. 🤙

Good info there, thanks P :)
exactly - although the on board speakers were average (at best) though a good speaker system the Yamaha sounds are amazing
Bought mine around 2007 as well, meant to learn on it but it just collected dust until about 4 months ago. Better late than never I suppose.
Literally pulled one of these out of a trash can today. Won't have to buy one to have a cheap keyboard for crappy venues now!
Cool, all the keys working??
I really like some of those tones .
Yeah it's not bad at all. There's a USB socket too so it should have all the flexibility that most people need.
I picked up a DGX 505 during lockdown with the stand for an amazing £85. Good sounds, and pretty much indestructible!
Nice one! :)
That’s a good deal considering 505 is more expensive
2005: PSR-295 and DGX-205
2023: PSR-E473 and PSR-EW425
The DGX-200 series, were superseded by the PSR-EW series as the 76 key lineup
great solid keyboard with huge range of sounds... ideal for beginners through to advanced players.
Indeed it is!
I want to hear the sweet sounds

Want to see Yamaha psr E463
Ok here's my Yamaha PSR-E463 playlist: ruclips.net/video/jBOd1N2C9BA/видео.html
We got one of these at my school and I be the main one be playing with it
I have one and also a Yamaha MX49, some presets in the DGX-202 sound better than the MX49
Cool, that's quite surprising
Where can I find an ISO of the Acessory CD? I seem to have lost mine.
Gosh all I can suggest is keep searching the net or simply contact Yamaha.
Yamaha DGX 205 Or Casio WK 240 Or Medeli MC 750 or Medeli sp5500? I want to learn classic piano

No need, it works completely on its own.

What is the mid range keyboard to buy, I want something to keep for 4-6 years?

Can u control the loudness of the keys as u press it
Yep
Does anyone know how to get the keyboarded instrument sounds to play on your DAW?
Should be a simple USB connection between keyboard and computer.
Should i buy this Yamaha dgx205 or technics kn5000? i have both close to me about same price.. i am novice
I would buy the Technics personally :)
@@gearfacts Thanks for your input... and Yamaha PSR E423 USB , just saw it in nice condition same money (150e) .. seam the best of these 3?

I don`t know about the rest inhere, but I feldt it sounded horrible, I would dare to think the PSR - 403 sounds so much better than this crap.
As I always say - buy the one that makes you smile 😊
