Crazy to think just 3+ years ago you could buy a 28'×56' double wide trailer cheaper and actually have some elbow room.
AMEN
Correct... let's go BRANDON
yeah man i got my clayton singlewide full drywall.... crown molding top and bottom.... 1200 SQ... porcelain sinks 76k... now they make the same home for 100k...
Get used to it. The prices of houses are just gonna keep going up and up. 30 years from now tiny houses will be for the middle class.
@@MattyIcecubes tiny houses *ARE* the Middle Class. Next month we're choosing the Tributes for 1st annual Hunger Games!!!
59,900 is a crazy price! Crazy High!
If she says “wow” once more, I will scream!
Crazy, I built a 24' by 24' all wood by myself inside and out for $20k!
Theses places jack up the price to pray on the poor & nieve, with a little research you'll find nothing cost 60,000 to build that small
Actually Most Companies, so called Experts, and DIY's.....are Pretenders.......
Even in the Higher End Travel Trailers and RV's.....
Lot of things are Cosmetic while the Frame, Axles, and Tongue will be looking to go out in the near future,....and Extended Warranties will Not Help......🙄🤔🤔
Let's all take a drink, every time Amanda says WOW!! Lol.
a shot when she says "so pretty"
I'm a Wow gal, myself 😂
❤ 😮 😊 😅 😂 🤣 ❤
Good idea, you'll need a drink to deal with listening to it
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol cheaper to buy a 18x80 mobile home aka trailer. $38,000 for mine.
been looking at tiny homes for years, this is by far one of the best designs Ive seen. One idea you might want, turning the steps in to drawers for storage.....
Always
Can that be done after they are already built?
The type that the step (tread) lifts up like a box?😊
@@lisa5551 it can, just alot of work. i was more talking about before hand
Thank you!
LOL 😂, 60 thousand dollars????
You have out done yourself Randy on this floor plan!!!! Wow just wow!!!
Randy-THIS is my favorite house of all of them that you build. Your tiny homes are gorgeous-better than the competition BUT this one hits every want & need!!
This is my favorite one too!!
I agree! The floorplan is perfect! Great idea to have the staircase in the back. A wall or a door would normally be there. It does not interfere with the living area. I always felt that the staircases in the living room, just takes away from the space.
Does anyone know what the ceiling height/headroom is in the loft? 😊 Wondering what thickness is best for the mattress in the loft leaving some room to sit up in bed?
Comfort is #1 for me. ❤
The positive thing about receiving this specific gorgeous THOW is that you can pick your own paint & stain colors / finishes!
Will have a great (big) project to work on to really make it your own!
Love THIS design! 😍
Soooo many possibilities!
I really like the addition of the closet & pantry space and the option for a stackable washer and dryer. I like that the stairs are on the side to give the full 36" shower. I would probably polyurethane the inside, stain the outside and paint both trims. The cool thing is. That could all be done gradually.
Adding stain will need to air out the fumes for a few days..very large area to stain
@@LololoriShow Same size to polyurethane. That's what ladders and brothers are good for! Given rain, sleet and possibly snow, unless you're in Arizona only, I would definitely give it a coat of something on the outside. That's why I said gradually. Even if doing the inside, I would expect to have all windows open (that do open) and fans running for ventilation. I know things take time to dry. Protecting an investment like a home is important.
@@LololoriShow If stain is on the outside, no need for ventilation. Nature takes care of that. Just plan for a few days when it's not forecast to rain. 🌧️
What a perfect little house I love it. The size is so nice and that bathroom…wowzer‼️I would finish the kitchen countertop in a dark finish to pick up the color of the knots in the wood. I would also have a bed/sofa downstairs for a spare sleeping area. The pantry would have a tall rolling pantry shelf I could pull in and out for functionality. The closet is such another wowzer it’s perfectly cute and I also love that there is a bit of some space left over under the stairs after the water heater goes in. Oh then the bathroom area closet is nice too. This is just so perfect…did I say perfect again LOL 😂❤. Oh and the other thing I like is the staircase is not right in front of the front door. That would be bad feng shui and all the good energy would just go out the door. 😊 great door placement. LOVE LOVE LOVE this house. 🎉🙌🏼
I like this style very much! I like how it is arranged, it looks like us "seniors" would be able to get up and down from the loft rather easily, and it has more space to move around in! Another Winner!
This floor plans is the best with all the closets.
Did everyone notice that he did not go upstairs and neither did she what are you supposed to do crawl around in your bedroom
Have you never seen a TH loft before?
Yes they did, she went up the stairs and showed the loft at the 12:30 time marker.
I think their prices are too high although they build beautiful homes but I am a disabled senior its cheaper to buy a nice camper with everything you need in it
Very true
Exactly what I have been thinking for a while now.
It's gorgeous, I love this tiny home.❤
Agreed and I like the placement of the stairs. Hi Amanda and Ace. Randy you are good people, I like your tiny homes.👏🏻🏡🏡👏🏻
OMG!!!... This floor plan is a BIG Game Changer. The pantry, closet, and washer & dryer spaces are absolutely BRILLIANT!!!
Not for $60,000. It’s not a game changer..
@@jjbinderr Compared to other Tiny Home builders, it's a really good price. But I was referring to the floor plan and why I've been trying to tell people the 10-foot wide models give you many more options.
@@jjbinderr no oven?
@@jerroldfrank5869 I don’t know if it has an oven. You would think for $60,000 for a “tiny house.”… it would come with the hot tub and sauna, too
Beautiful craftsmanship. Randy and Amanda are trying to make these more affordable than other builders. Wish i had found them on RUclips when they were making the RJO Freedoms.
@@lisa5551 i had the money and was exactly what i was looking for. All the other manufacturers were as much as a full size house. RUclips decided to show me 2 years later on the day Randy announced he was discontinuing that series. I was heartbroken. The RJO was exactly what i needed on a 100% VA disability pension. Couldve paid cash. Now my house i had to buy instead has emptied out my bank account. Thanks RUclips. Nina's model was my fav but with the front entrance that is on the show model Randy made a video of. 💔
Yes those were absolutely amazing
Buying directly from Amish will save you 50 percent. Always buy directly from builder not 3rd party scam artist.
Yes, if only we could turn back the hands of time ...
Covid has done a number on the USA and the world. 🌍
@@lisa5551 wouldnt matter. I had the cash in full. RUclips didnt show me for 3 yrs until the day Randy decided to stop making them. 😳
Glad ITH is adding storage!
The closets are a welcome addition!
I’m loving this setup with the pantry and extra closet. Plus washer/dryer hookup 💜
Love the out of the way stairs!!!
Wish there was financing for us poor folks. 😢
It is very hard to find a bank or credit union in my area that will finance an RV or a tiny house. I tried. I have decent monthly income but no savings. I just cannot see getting a signature loan, then having to pay it back along with a payment for the tiny home. I also would have to pay lot rent. So I will just keep dreaming I will hit the Hoosier Lottery or get a lucky scratch off!! Being able to purchase it outright is the way to go!
I love this home and I would get the bay window. Nice to have a bathroom sink and the larger shower. All the wood is so beautiful. It's like a little log cabin. Custom wood home is reasonably priced. And yes, you are "crazy" but only the best way, Randy. :)
I absolutely adore this home! If I lived in the USA, this would be my pick for sure! The wood is divine! I would definitely add the bay window and I would get the tongue box but use it as a tool/storage shed. I would also add a railing on the wall for the stairs.
You guys are the BEST! Hi from South Australia!
Love love love the Woody line. Its a piece of art. Beautiful wood. No need to do anything else to it. Natural living with so much light & architectural charm. 👍🏾👏🏾🏡🚀
You better stain, poly, or paint the wood, or the Carpenter and Mason Bees will eat it alive...
@@reynetallents I didn't know that. Thx! But I am not buying the Woody, it's over my budget.
Love the home, but $250 per sq ft 😕
The main costs in any home are the utilities, kitchen, and bath. Additional empty space costs very little to build.
Wonderful Woody
Hello, I love your beautiful homes.
Now let me tell you ALL about all wood in Upstate South Carolina. You might as well throw in NC, GA, TN, and a few others to be on the safe side. I lived in a gorgeous ALL wood log house; not cab, log house for 20 years. It was sold shortly befor my husband passed away because he didn’t want us burdened with the extensive upkeep of the wood. Every critter in the South from Carpenter Bees to Squirrels is going to eat and chew on your lovely wood home. You can pay Terminix thousands of dollars to cover it in Boracare but that’s just a temporary solution. Oh they are going to begin boring that perfect 3/8 inch hole and then you find their little dead carcasses everywhere. But it won’t stop. Have you ever heard a squirrel knawing? On your beautiful log or wooden home? Your heart sinks because they are truly destroying it.
My advice? Brick, mortar, stone, concrete block covered with Stucco . . anything anti pest! ❤ Enjoy your new home!
I was thinking exactly the same thing and agree with everything you've said here. The only "tiny" home that I think would work for me would be a container home. I DON'T want all the critters that would also want to call it their home.
Good essential information......I didn't know that. Thanks.
Would staining,
painting or using 3 coats of polyurethane deter the critters???
@@susanmurrell635 You are welcome! Don’t get me wrong, they are beautiful! But critters eat them and squirrels love them! I wish I had access to my Carpenter Bee and squirrel devastation . . . just sad! Now if it looks like wood but is that non-edible material like is used for decking - do it! 👍🏼
@@susanmurrell635 Absolutely not! We were stained and sealed! Holes and squirrel damage everywhere! We even went on a killing spree to keep them off of the house within 5 years of moving in but that just broke my heart. So I had my husband stop. Couldn’t take it! We used to have a pet squirrel so shooting them . . . just too hard! 💔
I love this house!!! This would be the heart of home, got everything to it.
I know a lot of people love the wood look/feel. I'm not one of them. Wouldn't mind the ceiling being wood but for the rest, would feel like living in a lumbar yard. The thing I do not like about the design is the kitchen and the way it's boxed in bc of the bathroom placement. The closet/pantry is a great idea, tho! And people are mentioning prices. When you add the ten grand for the lot fee, a few extras on the house - you're over 70,00 grand for 250 sq. feet. I can see where a lot of people feel they are being priced out of even tiny homes. But everything costs more nowadays.....and of course - the workmanship is top notch - so it all adds up.
That is why I like the wood is not finished. For people who like the wood look they have the option to stain it any color they want...Black & cedar, white washed, grey drift wood, cherry, walnut, etc. You could paint some wald and leave wood trim. The options are endless.
@@SpittingMoon What grade would you say?
I like contrast and a good balance of wood features.
I could not stand to live in all wood surroundings.
I would stain/poly the ceiling,
Same for countertops. Probably the floors in the same color family.
Paint or whitewash/glaze walls. Stain or wall paper a feature wall in the living area a rich color to bring the outside, in.
Would be my happy place. 😊 I love this home. 🏡
Just amazing. Your team is amazing. Small townhouses in Australia, in my town average 1 million and you cant even get a decent 2bd apartment for under $600k. So these homes are an absolute game changer to show what is achievable for the rest of us.
If I may ask. The costs you quoted are they in dollars as in USA money or do you have a different money exchange?
@justthink5854 thank you. Actually, the question was on the $600K for the 2bd apt.
@justthink5854you do have a point, but lofts are the rage now, I'd prefer what you said, and yes, in 10×20 space you could fit a full bath (5×6) and a kitchennette (2×6) and have a big room, but he has the lots.
Love the wood, and wouldn’t mind it being unfinished - that’s an easy DIY. Love the entry door at the far end to keep coats & shoes out of the living room. It would’ve been great to know how much it was to add the off grid tongue box, and how tall the shower is. Details: Every time you wake up your first steps would be on the stairs, so they just need a handrail. And personally I’d find a less intrusive solution for the stove vent/shelf. Still a really great tiny home 🇨🇦
I love this floor plan on this one. Love the washer and dryer in the corner. Love you two doing the tiny home tours. 🙏🦾
the fuse box is ugly , why can’t it be put inside a closet or side wall of the laundry to hide it?
Let's see, you put it inside the laundry cubby, then you install a washer and dryer. Do you pull them out to reset the breaker?
Wow... Beautiful happy little home & nicely priced. Omitting painting in order to have more storage space is brilliant. Congratulations on this one!
Love the woody line, would have one pantry closet and the other space to store the refrigerator and have the washer and dryer in the bathroom.
Beautiful home! Great layout. My favorite is all the natural light. I think the bay window is a fabulous option and I would definitely use it as a sofa. The outside has great curb appeal.
My oldest son could have the loft, and I would sleep downstairs. Love it ❤.
Love the Woody! Great design, and option for those wanting to save some money with DIY finiishing the wood. It has storage! HUGE plus. Well done 👏
How could I like this any more?! It's just right!!
That is one beautiful home guys. I could live in that .
Don't you ever stop doing what you do.!.!.!
Gorgeous home Randy. Love the "Woody" line.
You guys are doing great things for Americans. Appreciate it. Hopefully the more business you get the lower you can drop the prices to help even more.
I could probably even get my brother to build a tounge box for storage (Christmas tree 🎄 & decorations).
You keep taking everything away first that box in front then you won't stain it or 59 9 I mean really
I love the lower ceiling in the living area and the extra height where you need it in the loft. Terrific floor plan!
🎉 I've been looking at tiny homes for my daughter, and wow, yours are AFFORDABLE while being functional and beautiful ❤🎉
I really like this design. Very functional having the pantry and w/d closet. Very pretty.
I love the bay window. I see a reading nook! I love this house, 😮.
BEAUTIFUL DESIGN !! I think this one will be a Good Seller for ITH. :)
LOVE-LOVE-LOVE!!!🥰
WOW! I LOVE THIS!
Super cozy and so cute! Love the Woody line! Guess the carpenters will be chuffed to bits they can get their hands on creating more of these gorgeous homes! Well done guys! ❤❤❤
I love the addition of closet space and I love that the door is on the other side near the stairs at the back of the house. Beautiful cabin type home. I was wondering instead of doing a sliding barn door could a pocket door be used ? It takes up leas space and would actually give more room.
Yea no loft for me but guests. I love this one! Ilove all the wood.😊
Love love love this design!! Love the pantry/closet addition. Randy you did it again. Awesome!!!🩷
LOVE THE CHEMISTRY... .BETWEEN YOU TWO....YOU ARE HAVING WAY TOO MUCH FUN.
Love the design of this home it flows so well.
Beautiful! Few questions-1-how much would it be to add a covered porch, which I think you guys are still offering and what size porch would be available, 2-will you be making a larger floor plan (10x26 or 28 or 30) in the Woody line in the future? Love to have “true” downstairs living. And 3-do you have to treat the outside and polyurethane the inside? I’m not sure if this is the right way to ask these questions, but I figured I’d give it a try. This really is beautiful and the addition of all the storage makes so much more livable. I think this is the one for me!! Thanks for all you do!
Yes, you do need to either paint, polyurethane, or stain the wood, inside and out.

Love this Woody plan!!!
beautiful home, off grid is a great bonus
Does Woody Woodpecker know about this?
"Key money." All we do nowadays is play with words to make them more palatable.
George Carlin (RIP) prepared us for that. Wtf is key money? We give him the keys to our money.
@@makinggoodchoices I think 50, 60 years ago, key money meant a security deposit for an apartment.
You could think of it as paying rental in advance, in order to keep monthly payments low in the future. Of course you need to calculate based on how long you'll be there; if it's for a year or two, there's not much advantage. But if you're in for the long haul, you'll save money over time.
@@chezmoi42 You can't transfer your membership if you want to sell your house, that's where I have an issue, never belonged to a country club, never wanted to.

This is more my speed, it us beautiful. I think I could use the upstairs space for sleeping although it would need a fence type situation in the loft to keep my dogs safe.
Beautiful, just not excited about a loft space that you have to crawl around in. I have had bad knee issues. Going to keep watching for the right fit!! Disabled and need everything on one level.
Beautiful ❤️😊
NOW THAT"S WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!! THAT"S QUALITY
I like the house. I just wish that they would stop calling that a bay window. They do this in every house that they put that window in. It's one giant window and a window seat without storage. A bay window has more than one window. If it's a true bay window, like in the 1885 house that I grew up in, the floor extends out to the shape of bay with multiple separate windows. Our house had 5 windows in the bay, but many old school bays also have 3 windows. The modern smaller bay windows are attached to the side of the house usually with 3 windows. There are no walled up angles that don't have windows like they show here. Personally, I like the window seat that could be used as a sofa area, but I would like the window a little bit smaller so that whatever is put on that window seat wouldn't be visible outside or constantly getting faded from the sun.
You are absolutely correct!
I have a TRUE BAY WINDOW in my 1911 home, and it's magnificent!
@@anonymous-ir3tf Sure! The window add on looks good. I guess I'm just picky about what they call it! Lol
@justthink5854 I don't understand why anyone would want a giant window that looks like it doesn't open, anyway.
You are not too loud or unprofessional, I love both of you. You two make a great team and your real and not fake. Do not change. This is one of my very favorites, hope to see you two this summer to look and see what i want. ❤
Hi Randy and Amanda!! Happy Fathers Day! For Randy ..plus I didn’t know if you realize But, you can also.make the Baywindow with a lift top to store Blankets and extra things!! Nice model!!! Take care !!
No, that is not an option with an ITH bay window, because the Bay is added to the exterior of the home, like a pop out glass kitchen window and not part of the home's Sq footage. You can see from the exterior that the mini-split compressor sits below outside.
This is beautiful ❤️. I would like one like this to finish the inside ourselves. The bay window in the line is gorgeous 🥰
Love it!!!
Love the layout of this one, so much better with the stairs at the end rather then the side of the home
Why is this so much at 60k ?
This turned out really well. All the closets/pantry seem like a bit of a mish-mash. I'd prefer to have the washer/dryer in the bathroom in the space where the on demand water heater is now, with a smaller pantry and then one longer closet where the current closet and w/d space are. I personally find the living room area to be quite livable at around 11x10 feet. I think I would almost be ready to make a move on this model if it were painted, stained, polyurethaned inside at around this price. One can always dream!
@justthink5854 You certainly like to toot your horn. Why don't you put up a website and sell your plans? Personally, I feel you don't need to cut down what these people are doing. They've built over 1000 tiny homes, so they must be doing something right. Are you taking into consideration the labor costs for building yours? Since Covid, prices have escalated exponentially.
By the way, my good friend, who’s a financial advisor, laughed at this! Thought it was very amusing, & thought, people have gotta be crazy, to spend $59K,, for this tiny Porta John!
OMG!!! I Love all of the ITH models, but I now think the woody is my absolute favorite!!! It's like a blank canvas that any level artist could create beauty with. I mean when you start out with a beauty, you can't do much to make it anything other than more beautiful!!! I really want to come down to Newport Tennessee and be apart of this wonderful movement you've created. Times will only get tougher, and it will take all of working together to get through this crap. United we stand, divided we fall. 💜💜💜
I LOVE the location of the W/D.
Our family has always used blue open bookcases as a pantry. Not even a curtain. Our house was built by a sea captain out of ship ballast. He didn't think about a pantry.
The only thing I see is a handrail is necessary.
This is terrific!
Lord how I love the smell of wood.
Great job guys!
One day Randy, I would love to see this one in person
The fact that we are excited about putting people in these small boxes is ridiculous. This is what we are settling for, not to mention 60,000 grand fir this. What a joke
I agree with you
When it rains , no gutter .
