How To Make A Wire Armature For Beginners. In this video I will be showing you a super easy way of making a wire armature for you sculptures that you can use in many different needle felted sculptures.

I bought packages of cotton covered wires in several gauges from Amazon. I'm real happy with them. Of course I have a huge stash of every color pipe cleaners too. lol I use my jewelry making tools like regular plyers, cutters, and round plyers to make loop ends. I do have to use my hubby's heavier cutters for the thicker gauges though.

I know what you mean , the thicker gauges definitely need some extra power to snip them. Some felting shops provide a mixed bag of wires covered and uncovered so you can try different types. It’s really good way of seeing which wire works best depending on the sculpture ☺️ x
