It is called Holmes county. There's the Carisle Inn. In Millersburg Ohio there is a hotel but it has a restaurant in also. I am sure you would like it also. There is a lot to see and places to eat. This is for you both. A super dear couple.
We have been there and did videos of the Carisle Inn and just filmed the other one in Walnut Creek two days ago. We are at the Inn in Millersburg and Filmed that also. We love this place. Their catfish is excellent. They're very nice too. My son got the chicken fried steak but he didn't like it so they let him pick something else no extra charge.
We have eaten both breakfast and supper there. With supper you also get a cup of potato soup(which is just like my mother made) and a salad. The food is always good there. The atmosphere is very inviting. Looking forward to eating there again whenever we are able to head back down there.
Supper sounds good also. Bobbie likes Potato soup. The place had a nice atmosphere in it we loved it. Thanks Nancy for watching and comment. Too many places to go in this area

Sounds good. We only have two left from that area. Might go to Amish Country and film a few. Where we work they make us quarantine for 5 days if we go somewhere makes it hard for us to go. Our plant is closing down soon we might move to this area not sure yet.
Is EVERY restaurant in Tennessee a copy cat of Cracker Barrel? I don't think I've seem more than one or two of your videos that doesnt look just like the FAKE "country store" motif of Cracker Barrel and pretty much the same old "pot roast, meat loaf, fried chicken, burger" menus. The more I watch of these the more I know there is no reason to visit that part of the country...and that "cheap: food is expensive on top of everything else.

In fact the restaurant themes are reminiscent of the Old Country Stores spread throughout East Tennessee and the Appalachian area. Country Barrel copied the mom and pop concept that has been in place for 100+ years. As your negative comment about the food it was hateful and dead wrong. Tennessee ( and throughout the South) has delicious food based on its cultural history. It may not be to your liking but there is no need to be ugly. These folks work hard to prepare and serve their customers the very best food possible and from what I saw they do it well. Now have a good day okay.
