HKUST is the best university in Hong Kong, only if you know how to appreciate & be grateful. At least, if you love mountains, seaview or beaches - HKUST has two, it would be wonderful.
I‘m a freshman from SCUT in Guangzhou. From my perspective,The shortage of college resources in China is the key reason for Chinese students in HKUST tend to work harder on study. China is a country of a large population.Chinese students are used to competing for the limited resources. In addition,HK‘ college tuition is much more expensive than that in mainland China.Maybe it’s another reason. As you said, having an open mindset is a good advice for us.I'm also struggling on high GPA as to be admitted to oversea universities and get the master degree. My major is EE,so many senior schoolmates in my department went to HKUST to study a master‘degree. That’s why I watch your video. It‘s rich in content. And welcome to Guangzhou anytime!
Thank you very much for this video!🥺 I'm an incoming international freshman. I've been trying to get more information about student's life in HKUST before coming to uni and haven't found a lot tbh. Would you mind making a video about dorms/pros and cons of each hall ?.?.? (whatever you feel right) cuz all the videos on RUclips are like 5 or more years old haha. Thank you again for all the helpful information 🥰
Hi! Thank you for your kind comment!! I am planning on doing a hall comparison video sometime soon + other things related to HKUST that is geared towards international freshmen. Any other ideas are also appreciated
I have ASD and maybe making friend is easy, but I am glad that it’s also easy to stay alone, I was in a few society and by second semester, I dropped out all of them except for sports team. Study wise, an advice to everyone going into Hkust, take all classes seriously, I didn’t in my first year and it’s just make it worse, I am now year 2 and I am forced (kind of) to be those who study 24/7
Hey, kohyee~ thank u so much for ur sharing! I am an international student from Canada. I am considering going to HKUST and I got the offer of the quantitative social analysis. what program are you studying?

Hi!! I was thinking in applying to HKUST. Do they offer the course of Bsc in Aerospace Engineering in English? Or would I need to have some base in mandarin in order to study there?
just going to be graduated in rmbi XD, for your question, I do think u could directly send email to the office for inquiry about second-round, something like that
Omg your voice is so adorable and youre so cute 😭🥰 im trynna study abroad for a month in the summer if covid is over!! Maybe we can keep in touch so I can ask you questions lol

Hello! I'm not a PG student, just a year 2 UG student that goes to HKUST... I don't really know much about the PG program at HKUST, I think it would be better to email HKUST directly for things like that. Sorry!
Hi! I'm not familiar with qualifications outside of DSE and IB, but I think you can email the UG admissions team and they can answer this for you! Sorry :/

DUDE... i plan to go to HKUST for 2022, pls lemme know if that is still worth it with all the current situation in honkong!
I’m thinking about a exchange there, would you say that is it difficult to pass the exams? Or with a few weeks of study you can take good grades
Most of our courses are graded on a curve. You really REALLY have to study hard to get a good grade, even if the material isn't that difficult.

Hi!! Passing a course is considered easy is HKUST, as long as you put in a little effort :-)
can you do a video comparing HKU vs CUHK and HKUST?
I really don't know a lot about HKU or CUHK, so I may not be the best fit for that :(

Is there any chance to transfer to the RMBI for an international student? I didn't get in during the current uni application……
It might be difficult because you are QSA, but I’m not qualified to answer that question! It might be better to email admissions and ask, sorry!
just going to be graduated in rmbi XD, for your question, I do think u could directly send email to the office for inquiry about second-round, something like that
Does the university really accept Duolingo English test result for admission? They didn't reply my email.

Got accepted this year, may I ask if it's difficult to get a GPA3.0?
