I got my krx 1000 Tuesday she’s a monster went Royal blue today and rode not really my thing just mud and nasty ruts but the krx did awesome all my friends in there Polaris got stuck spent 5 hrs pressure washing it off when I got probably we spent 5 more hrs to get it the way I like it lol wish I could ride here
It’s a great machine, but mud sucks to clean! 😃 -Garrett
Awesome...we will have to get down there on our Mav Sport XRC
Very Cool. Love to take my KRX there one day.
It’s a awesome ride and plenty more places to ride in the same area. 👍 -Garrett
The WANT to go out there is strong with this one! So awesome!
Just do it!
Awesome video!
Awesome vs. different machines yet pretty close same class but they both did so great and share a lot of the same capabilities that being said... Couple awesome machines you guys picked. And Rocky mountain shows us lots of other abilities too lol look forward to part 2. Xp1k brought back chirpy belt memories!
Yes part two drops Thursday and final thoughts will drop Friday 👊
Its amazing how well these factory machines do now. Good video guys! Shout out to the I'm guessing wife's for filming.
Yep they were! 👍 -Garrett
Awesome video. The KRX seems to be in its element here, articulation is on par stock. The XRCs seem to be stiff but still did well.
Both machines did awesome overall. The KRX was really smooth out of the box with little setup and sway bars attach. 👍
-Garrett
Krx made everything look so easy
Yes it is a rock crawling machine in stock form. -Garrett
Love me some Double Sammy! Want to see y'all do the shoot!
It’s coming Thursday 👍 -Garrett
Great video. 2 of the 4 machines I am considering. Also looking at the Talon and X3RC but right now the KRX is top of my list. I'm hoping on the next video you will do more of a breakdown of the Pro's and Cons of the two machines. It is a "VS's" video so there needs to be some kind of a winner announced I would think.
We will have part two out Thursday to showcase the ride. Dave and I are real close to having enough miles on the machines that we will put out a pro’s and con’s vid soon talking about this ride, others and overall experience of these two machines. 👍
Garrett
Deranged Off-Road awesome. Looking forward to it. I also understand and can appreciate that it would be hard to say that one is better than the other with both being owned by channel contributors. One of my main concerns is belt wear and belt access. I had a Maverick XRS and the thing ate belts like mad so I sold it. Hated changing those belts. It was a nightmare. That is also why I am considering the Talon.
Yeah we have no issues pointing out the pros and cons of each machine. Also that’s why each of us own different ones so the viewers can see the different options.
Loving it! 👍👍👍
Can't wait to pick mine up getting it this week just traded my yxz1000r for one
It’s been great so far! -Garrett
Awesome job filming! Both your machines made it look easy...👍
Looks like an absolute blast to ride out there. Maybe someday.... I just can't get past Moab when I head west. How's the springs holding up on the KRX? I've lost about 1-1/2" of GC due to spring sag, and now another 3/8" due to adding my skid plates. Hoping to be able to get it back by dialing in some preload.
I’m pretty close to the same as well. I’m looking at adjustment options soon, but I don’t want to sacrifice ride quality at all. Also with the GC loss it really didn’t have issues in the rocks on this vid.
-Garrett
@@DerangedOffRoad Yeah, I hear you on not wanting to sacrifice any ride quality. Fortunately, preload adjustments are free. I can always dial it back if it messes with the ride too much. I know I'll get a 1/2" back when it's time for tires since I will be getting 32's, but that is going to be quite a while before it's time to do that. Great videos. Good to see the KRX doing what it's made for. Think I made the right choice.
Yeah I know it’s free and I will probably do the same thing. I’m going to run 33” tires when this stock ones wear out. 👍
i really have to get to sand hallow. its on my list for this year. where do you guys stay when you ride there? also i see you have the sway bar off the xrc. makes a huge difference on these machines in the slow stuff! you can see the difference when you see rockymountain following you he was on 3 wheels a lot. i think his was still on. nice job!
You need to come out. Garrett and I live 10 minutes away from Sand Hollow. Let us know when you come out. Hopefully we can go rip.
@@DerangedOffRoad will do! i didn't realize i thought you guys lived in AZ im near Tucson az.
Just Joe does 👍
Great vid, the sports did very well. That's the kind of place those XRC's really shine.
Were your front swaybars connected on the Can-Ams
Blue XRC still had front and rear on. Orange XRC had front removed and rear still connected
How did the carnivores do on the slik rock?
Honestly they’re awesome. I even ran 12 psi in all 4 and they hooked up just fine. -Garrett
It seems to me like the RC cars' suspension is way too stiff, not much articulation, wouldn't softer springs help for rock crawling ? Are they also decent for trail riding in stock form or are they really more suited for rock crawling ? Anyhow, awesome looking cars !
OG1.... I can attest to you that the MAVERICK SPORT XRC will do the trails very well, as I have one.
The Maverick sport and trail models are all stiff I agree. But I think they do this to prevent body roll. But I’ve heard you can disconnect the sway bars to free up some articulation during rock crawling like this.
Ditch those front sway bars on your sports xrc makes a world of difference...kinda sad not seeing any helmets esp on the kids
Yeah Rocky Mountain likes to keep his on. He likes his high speed drifting too much to take it off again. I removed mine off of my XRC a while ago. It's never going back on.
@@DerangedOffRoad ha ha, I am with Rocky Mountain on that one. He should come down this way, we could do a drift off. I know just the road.
Deranged Off-Road Don’t blame you...I rode the dunes for over a decade with my kids in a four seat Rhino before helmets were required. Sure it’s safer to have a helmet but it’s also safer to not ever leave your house...
@@DerangedOffRoad the ride is way better imo too
@@DUNEATV as a adult you have the choice to be brain dead your kids shouldnt
Those Maverick sports look so sketch.
Nothing sketch about them.
@@DerangedOffRoad man, they looked like they want to roll backwards on some of those rocks.
Nah. Looks and feel are two different things. I’ve never felt like I would roll over backwards in it
@@DerangedOffRoad yeah, typically it feels much worse than it looks though. HAHA. That's good that it is stable. Its short wheelbase must be real nice whenever you're not nearly vertical.
