Thank you Pastor Jeremy! I am a Christian,and not afraid of many things. But, I am scratching my head, as how to lovingly share this important truth with several gay friends and neighbors. One of these friends had a dream of a pile of bodies being thrown into a pit of fire. All I could say was, "every single one of us needs Jesus."
He is a professing Christian and says, "yes, I am gay, and a Christian, deal with it!" He has had alot of hurt in his life and hid his homosexuality for years.
I am not sure how to approach the subject with him. I suppose I am just going to have to trust Jesus to open that door in His timing. Please pray that I will discern the Lords direction and timing.

Yes! But also, in love, please remember to be nice when sharing the truth, I used to be a homosexual and people were very rude to me when sharing the Bible. I've found my way, but it took a lot of work

Well that's all nice pastor Mike but it doesn't even approach the possibility that Queer Christians are legitimate or that you're anti-Queer interpretations are wrong.
Just because you're nice about how you dismiss people's loves, lives and dignities doesn't mean that you're acting in love.

The description of homosexuality as a lifestyle is a blatent oversimplification of human sexuality in general and homosexuality in particular. Such indoctrination of the collective societal psyche is paramount to the self validating delusion of heterosexuality possessing moral validity. The reason that we never hear the term " heterosexual lifestyle" is because there is no need to catogorize heterosexuality with such descriptively inherent connotative oversimplification in order to subconciously justify contempt and hatred through the stone of subjective comparison.
Sexual immorality as described in the bible stands on its own, it stands outside of time regardless of whatever a given societies ever changing moral validity might be. If a given societies sexual morality is not in alignment with Gods commandments then sexual sin occurs equally across all people who sin regardless of what sexual group they identify with for those who commit sexual acts outside of GODs Devine rule.
God loves ALL people regardless of how they or the society they happen to live in classify them.

Hi pastor I'm sitting with a problem my daughter is by sexual and iv tried so many times to talk to her about what she is doing. Is wrong every time I talk to hear about it she gets angry .it hurts and I Dont no what I must do thank u
Except her you can't force your beliefs on her she's her own person and you do more harm by invalidating her trying to fix what isn't broken which can cause self hatred and can lead to suicide even if you disagree you have put your beliefs aside for your daughter's well being she's better of bi then dead or broken inside.

I have a daughter who is gay & she's living with her girlfriend in a house. How do I talk to her about what she's doing with out making her angry at me. I love her and I don't want her to spend eternity in hell. What I pray everyday I pray for her and I cry and cry and cry because I'm so worried about her. As I am crying now just thinking about it. Scott Jones- I'm sorry that issue this is causing you so much pain...(and I know you posed the question to Pastor Jeremy, so I hope you don't mind me responding)- you need to appreciate that homosexuality is a spiritual affliction, so I accept that when gays say it is not their choice to be gay, because it is a demonic spirit that forces itself on people - (unlike the Holy Spirit that will only come and live inside a person when invited) a lot of homosexuals live very promiscuous lives; it is as a spirit of perversion and promiscuity- and so you need to approach it from a spiritual perspective- spiritual afflictions need more than just prayer; they also require fasting (as Jesus told his disciples in Matt. 17 v 21 when they didn't understand why the couldn't cast out the evil spirit out of a person)- spirits do not eat, so when we fast we become more spiritual and meet them more on their level- also pray for God to direct you by His spirit, and give you the opportunity to have conversations about this with your daughter- bind the spirit (Matt. 16 v 19) and claim her life for Jesus (Job. 22 v 28) . If you are not used to fasting, start by going an hour longer without food each time 'til you train your body to go from morning 'til evening without food. God bless and be with you and answer your prayer, Amen.

Scott Jones, I can feel part of your pain. My 18year old granddaughter has identified with being trans and is going through the process of change. It's not your fault. If you have a church home, talk to your pastor. My deacon in my Anglican church is a wonderful resource. We will always love our children and grandchildren. And the comment from the gentleman before is very important to try to do for yourself. Blessings and love to you.

The pastor was condemning hate speech. If your goal is to keep all speech off RUclips that you disagree with that's another matter.
Also, Jesus never married or had a girlfriend and was very likely gay.
That is a huge presumptuous belief to come to that conclusion. I would be wary of proclaiming such statements against a Holy God.
