Came here cause it was announced that the upcoming Venom movie will use this story. Never read a solely Venom comic so idk jack shit. Was a great, entertaining video, subscribed. Have no idea what parts of this are they gonna adapt, story itself is kinda a mess.

Smokey I enjoy so much your comments of comics I read twenty odd years ago that I sit down and watch your videos in a great mood. This is also combined with your overall knowledge of the genre, you seem to know about tropes and how they play and it is hilarious how you point out the common tropes and cliches at play all over the comics you review. You thrive on irony ,keep that style and expand your comic base. Your audience are mostly guys who have read these comics but never had the chance to enjoy someone else talking about them or even better...mocking moments and slain sacred cows where there must be slain. Keep up the goodwork and always use lethal protection. The Superman earth's end comment that he passed out because of gun use was also hillarious. Try also to make videos of your viewers comments ,just don't show who is writing what, keep it private,merry christmas.

great of you to reply on my comment that although honest to the core my last comment shows a (deliberate) lack of mental balance at some points ( in order to spice up the comments lengthy size, that is) Also the impersonations you do contain a sense of originality. The awesome factor in your videos is that , you make it look like you have gathered a group of friends around you and you tell the story with pizza and beer while of course you are tuned in the time and place the story was written (for example your comments on the star wars infinities about the time the story was written in combination with the movies that were released or the Mary Jane hottest 90's outfit , it is all too great. I sense though that you didn't enjoy so much the Punisher kills the Marvel Universe...However 1 suggestion you might enjoy doing... Thor:Vikings ... I know you love the art of comics and that is why you know how well to troll them.. ("psssst he is under the garbage truck") Also it is great you give background of the characters ,you critisizing the story on every opportunity (we used to swallow stories in the past with our well earned money and buy comics which had stories which were tottaly nuts in terms of script and by nutts I mean not in the enthusiastic way)Try to do videos also that are attuned to the current movies in order to gather more views, avoid the logos of heroes (like the Venom spider logo ) of any story you use as transitional images from one scene to another,better replace it with images from inside the story...Now I will leave you to go and watch Holly Terror..., keep up the good work and the quality you attribute to your work...oh and invest a bit in sound recording equipment, you will not regret it.Greetings from Greece!!!
ps If you want a good idea on the transition scenes and how to imitate one, check the Game Theorists, they really transition each scene with nice ideas you can implement. Also try to comment on movie trailers as well (like the new one at Venom's) Then after you conquer youtube you will run for President and nuke the Russians because...well 80's.

If you don’t like this story I suggest you stay away from the 90s Venom comics. Because 99% of them are even worse than this. Personally, I enjoyed this story in a guilty-pleasure sort of way. I can’t say the same for most of the other Venom stories I read.

This story is one of my all-time favorite guilty pleasures. The 90s Venom comics were terrible overall. This is actually one of his best stories. Let that sink in.
