The best clay shooting video I've seen, by far..... captures the speed, the skill, the excitement, and the competitive spirit. But, most of all, you can see exactly what's going on. Congratulations. This is the kind of thing that should be shown on TV to help promote our sport...
sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I somehow lost the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Ares Hudson thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
As someone who is new to the sport, I very much enjoyed this video. Good production, be it simple but effective camera angles, tight editing and kind of soothing choice of music.
I remember watching this video haven't never shot a gun and was wowed. One year into sporting clay and I am smiling cos i could hit those shots easily. Great Video. Awesome camera work
A setup like this really brings it out so much better. Brilliant. We need something like this here in Europe. Oh wait...we can’t shoot over water. 😤 Although you could cover a patch of land with large sheets of black shiny plastic to « imitate » the reflection effect on the water. Wouldn’t be the same but with the right lighting it may work to really bring out those clays for the eye.
A 60.000$ shotgun does not help at all, without talent you go nowhere and best rifles for this discipline cost around 6.000$ (new). Technique and training make the difference, it’s not fair to bellittle those shooters. By the way I’m also a shooter from Italy, the homeland of clay shooting.
That's like saying a $100,000 guitar makes it easier to play guitar. Each of these guys could break just as many clays with a walmart shotgun. The difference is in custom fit for the shooter, quality of materials for longevity and consistency, and some other modifications that ensure proper function 100% of the time, because these guys cannot afford for their gun to "jam" or misfire when the stakes are so high, or fail to eject a shell like is seen in the variant where they load a shell each time in sequence.
That shot, and the much sneakier shot by Kidd Jr. at 2:34, are both utterly ridiculous. To put this into perspective, those shooters are actually shooting somewhere around 7+ feet ahead of the target (not that that's how you shoot clays, you look at the target and never "aim the gun" or you'll miss behind every time, but i digress). It's like throwing a 1000mph football at a mini frisbee 100 feet away that can changing course due to wind and all manners of absurdity in the angles, speed, and direction at which it is thrown. This video features pros of the highest level hitting some targets they'd consider cake, others more challenging, but not even a fraction of the types of targets they face on a traditional course. Cannot stress how locked in these guys are.
1:14 and 2:34 are absolutely insane. imho Kidd Jr.'s shot at 2:34 is the toughest in the video because of the trees camouflaging the target and a smaller, flatter cross sectional profile to the shooter as it was low and fast.
This is so epic! I actually am good friends with gebben and I had him at my house for 5 days during the Krieghoff classic. brad Kidd cane over for dinner for two nights as well
AWESOME VIDEO. Awesome venue, awesome shots. I'm getting into the sport and this video gets me so anxious I just wanna go shooing right now! I neeeed more like this
Armourer Reloading Please do! It would be great if you could also share our world all around finals live stream event as we are trying to bring all of the shotgun sports together to inspire future clay target athletes.
Armourer Reloading I appreciate it! The format is called the pro challenge, it's the current format that the psca uses. Set pairs, speed round and choose your pair.
novice geek here who is on verge of buying shotgun for clay pigeon shooting ... are these rifles semi auto ? and is that whats used or best for skeet shooting?
I was just thinking yeah it's nice to see him shooting in the dark but is in that polluting the water the lake? I mean there's chemicals and stuff in the clay pigeons right? So I would think all that shooting between the shotgun shell pellets my pellets probably and of clay pigeons are polluting the lake or the water
In sporting clays they change chokes depending on the shot. Most of these guys will use improved modified/ modified. But they are very good, light modified is probably the best all around choke for sporting clays.
Is everyone in this video using 20 gauge? I see yellow rounds ejecting out of one shotgun. The rest look black. Trying to decide between 12 and 20 for my next shotgun.

Hello
That's some great film making, Chris! The "over the shoulder" parts are impressive! Nice work.
best clay shooting video ever made
Clay shooting is super fun.
I remember watching this video haven't never shot a gun and was wowed. One year into sporting clay and I am smiling cos i could hit those shots easily.
Great Video. Awesome camera work

Thank god we can’t shoot in water, lead pollution is extremely dangerous
Shooting over 10,000 rounds a year and a $60,000 + shotgun does help. Great video!!

This is like irrelevant but $60,000 shotgun doesn’t do anything, I shoot better than people with $8,000 shotguns with my $1,500 shotgun.
That's like saying a $100,000 guitar makes it easier to play guitar.

I agree, the best clay target video I have ever seen. Well done.
Awesome Video! Loved the camera angles that allow us to see what the shooter is seeing!
amazing shooting, my self and a few friends try are hand at clay shooting very enjoyable, but to watch these lads is just a different league.😎
Super well-shot video of some really great shooting!
Great video. Thanks
This video inspired me over a year ago to shoot sporting clays and haven't looked back. Need to make another one soon.
They make it look effortless - need to give this a try

Great Shooting & Video!
What a setup! And those dudes can shoot 👌🏼
Epic video
Good competition
1:16 was one of the best shots. I didn’t even see it until i saw he hit it.

Nice one ! Greets from Germany !
This was a great video to be able to actually see what lead is required.
Great footage - that night shooting looks awesome!
Wow! they are talented I've only have been shooting for 3 years now and am using a bt-99 with a full choke. I have never shot an improved modified.
Improved Modified is the only choke I'll use. Insanely good constriction
This is heaven.
Nice
Lovely time
I like the shot at 2.43 from the hip!!
***** no, just the water
Hola, algún vídeo de cómo utilizar el swing mantenido? Saludos
Amazing I could watch this all night ,what sort of clays smoke like that ?
oldskoolclassiccars they are competition clays that have a powder layer. There are videos on how to make them at home.
They use white flyer orange crush i think
Please may I share this video on my Facebook page? Your video is quality and inspires clay shooters!
Armourer Reloading Please do! It would be great if you could also share our world all around finals live stream event as we are trying to bring all of the shotgun sports together to inspire future clay target athletes.
Christopher Claxton shared 👌
What is this format? It looks incredible! I would love to set this up on our ground 👍
Armourer Reloading I appreciate it! The format is called the pro challenge, it's the current format that the psca uses. Set pairs, speed round and choose your pair.
Loved it. Exciting. I want to shoot there.
Great video 👍🏼
all i can say is wow!
I just joined a trapshooting team at my school can’t wait

Awesome video. What sights do they have mounted on the front? look like a regular bead or white bead?
Just a bead.
Nice hello
The best shooting that I saw was by the camera man!!!
Matthew H XD
I love breaking clays.
what kinda clays do they use
Looks like fun
0:44 what's that shotgun model
Beretta dt11
about what distance are they shooting from?
At 1.5 speed, the music is awesome :D
awesome vid! looks to me tho like they are putting lead in a pond haha
Give your camera man a raise.
Anyone know the last guy’s name who was shooting? Amazing skill, would love to see of his shooting.
Would also like to know the name of that shooter. Do you know it know? Thanks for an answer 😊
@@wildboar74 Hi, his name is Brad Kidd Jnr. Search his name on You Tube. 👍🏻
Who is the guy in the final with Brad kidd jr? And what gun is he shooting?
Would also like to know the name of that shooter. If you know it meanwhile let me also know 😊
It’s a Beretta DT10 Sporting
Comment s’appelle le tireur en final avec Brad kid jr ?
What normal person would dislike this
novice geek here who is on verge of buying shotgun for clay pigeon shooting ... are these rifles semi auto ? and is that whats used or best for skeet shooting?
What's up with not getting as long as you want to reload?

lit af
Man i fricking love AMERICA WOOOOOOOOOOOO HELLL YA!!!!!!!😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
shooting at night?
please add subtitles in portuguese Brazil, thanks
What chokes are mostly used in sporting clays
varies really on the shooter. IC-IM are the most popular chokes to use. I personally shoot LM/LM and will break nearly everything you will see.
which is that song in the video????
boreta honey heart
thank you Vyron
Does anyone know what distance those furthest crossers are being thown at? It looks a long, long, way out on the video.....
About 60 meters
I was just thinking yeah it's nice to see him shooting in the dark but is in that polluting the water the lake? I mean there's chemicals and stuff in the clay pigeons right? So I would think all that shooting between the shotgun shell pellets my pellets probably and of clay pigeons are polluting the lake or the water
The real problem is lead pollution not the clays but maybe they are shooting with steel pellet cartridges, who knows?
What discipline is this? sporting?
On the last shot did Kidd jr hit it? To me it looks like he did. But he looked mad after the shot??????
INGLÉS
Someone can tell me that chokes used in this discipline??
In sporting clays they change chokes depending on the shot. Most of these guys will use improved modified/ modified. But they are very good, light modified is probably the best all around choke for sporting clays.
1/2 nd 3/4
Amazing how the brain works
Is this done with slugs ?
never. birdshot exclusively for all shotgun sports with aerial targets. anything different is utter stupidity.
Pilla is using this video on their website
Imagine what these guys are like duck hunting😅 limit in 15 minutes lmao
Is everyone in this video using 20 gauge? I see yellow rounds ejecting out of one shotgun. The rest look black. Trying to decide between 12 and 20 for my next shotgun.
+Niko Lehocky No 20's. All 12ga. What appears yellow, is gold. Rem Nitro 27's.
+Reggie Lawrence Thank you.
No problem! &I to be clear, they def are Remington... They could be the STS shell also. What type of shotgun are you looking for?
what kind of clays are they using, never seen them dust like that
+treos17 flash targets have powder in them thats held by cardboard ..
White flyer crush targets
DO MORE! Haha
Bkn para pegar hay que tirar si estuviera como ellos quien no pega pero es su arte yo amater pero bkn sigan en lo sullo respeto compañeros
Who cleans up all the led and plastic wads out of that lake????
I personally thought clay shooting was boring, until I was told the last target is a pizza!
cokes C ,IC, MOD,FULL ???
Franc0 Naik0n05 modified/improved modified
Doesn't need the intrusive music.
I like the music and would like it to remain
красота
I want to shoot this course so bad
sad for gebben
Obviously you have a heck of a lot more time to make the shot shooting sporting clays than you do shooting Trap.
Different disciplines
