      I took the missus over just after boxing day, a little hazy with bushfire smoke but we walked into Tali Karng and had the place to ourselves.
      As you said the views from the top are amazing🤯.
      Shame that the drive up to the Sentinels lookout from the back of the hut is closed but it can still be walked and worth the effort.

      G'day Albert,
      Tali Karng is one amazing place. I've only ever been in once, and that was some 40 odd years ago. It's a pretty special place.
      The walk out to the Sentinels would be a good walk. Another stunning view point.

      I went there just before the fires went through a couple of years ago, have since been back again and the difference in vegitation atop Mt Wellington was huge, but thankfully the hut didnt burn due to lucky wind and great work by DELWP/FFMV. Did you continue on to Gable End?

If you keep going on the Mount Wellington track, rather than turn off to Millers Hut (dont know if you can drive this) you get to The Sentinnels and Gable End. Hi Tim, seeking your opinion, trip plan up via Licola, Millers Hut, Mt Wellington then down to Horseyard Flat. Could you do towing a Patriot Camper, tug Hilux Rugged X fitted with good AT’s. Watching your video and some research, my guess is yes?

    • @timbates4wdadventures
      @timbates4wdadventures  4 года назад

      G'day mate,
      Not sure what your off road experience is with towing.
      Licola to Horse Yard no worries at all with a camper on the back.
      The drive up to the Mt Wellington summit and onto Millers Hut, i found a pretty easy drive.
      That day was dry when i went.
      So, it's your call on if you would take your camper through to Millers Hut.
