i think that we probably don't know everything about their relationship. He seems to be shy and calmer than her and just because he doesn't express in big actions as much doesn't mean he loves her less. It's just the way he is. At the same time I understand from a past relationship that sometimes it is needed to lie to your partner. In the past i’ve said to my ex things like, “I’m fine. I need to lie down,” when in actuality I was probably dying from cramp pains. Or things like, “I just got you a small gift,” when actually I got them a really expensive jacket. People assume lying means really bad things but sometimes it’s not. So I would understand if my new partner lied to me, as long as we have clear communication afterwards as to why and when.

At the same time I understand from a past relationship that sometimes it is needed to lie to your partner. In the past i’ve said to my ex things like, “I’m fine. I need to lie down,” when in actuality I was probably dying from cramp pains. Or things like, “I just got you a small gift,” when actually I got them a really expensive jacket. People assume lying means really bad things but sometimes it’s not. So I would understand if my new partner lied to me, as long as we have clear communication afterwards as to why and when.
