when i am writing observer in the last line, that pop up in the localhost "Error: Element type is invalid: expected a string (for built-in components) or a class/function (for composite components) but got: object. You likely forgot to export your component from the file it's defined in, or you might have mixed up default and named imports. Check the render method of `App`." what to do??
Thanks for the tutorial. Why did you capitalize "Let" ? My code wouldn't compile with this. I'm a java backend developer learning frontend in my spare time so sorry if this is a silly question.
I get an Type error saying instance.render is not a function, any tips? It only occurs when UserStore.loading = false in the componentdidmount error catch is present.
I dont think my app is working right. It compiles, but stays on 'Loading, please wait..' Anyone have any idea what i missed. I walked through the video a couple times but cant find my mistake.
hi, not sure if anyone can help me with this.. gotta make a SinglePageApplication, a simple sign up form, the screens required are: step 1 - asking for users name and phone number step 2 - asking for users email and data of births step 3 - should present all the users details for confirmation step 4 - sign up completion screen not sure how to solve the transition from 1st to 2nd step. also, not sure if I have to use session or local storage to present users details on step 3.. salut!
How does this work if we want more than one page to know about UserStore object ? example: I want to make a navigation with 'login' when the user is logged in i want it to be 'Log out' How do i access the same userstore object from the parent component?
I prefer class based components since you can write OOP code which i recommend everyone to do if they are writing an application which requires structure.
@@abe9993 Thank you, but I had a typo in the code when importing and dont know how it wasnt recieving any error, but now it is rolling but thank you anyways

Attempted import error: './stores/UserStore' does not contain a default export (imported as 'UserStore'). sir plz resolve this error
Hlo why you do fetch('isLoggedIn') in app.. ?? Is its a url type?? Pls ans
Hello thanks for the tutorial. But where is the full git repo source code of the project example?
Yes - that would be useful.
Thank you for your tutorial. what is difference between ' ' and " " from the lines below?
loading,please wait
There is no difference. You can use whatever you want.
Yes as Shawn said there is no difference, i usually use ' ' to prevent bloating of code, it looks better.

Failed to compile.

It's actually lowercase but the font makes it look capitalized
What if you want the user to be logged out after a specific time of closing he browser
is this applicable till this day?

Sir cant resolve 'mobx' error is coming. what to do?
Module not found: Can't resolve 'mobx' in 'D:\PP\OTHERS\WEB DEV
eact\frontend\src\store'
can anyone know to resolve it
could you manage to solve tht problem?
I just change UserStore.js location it's now on src and not in stores. It work but I don't know if it's the best solution
I had the same here, but I run "npm install mobx-react --save" frontend folder and solve it.

Why are you making an API call just to log out? Can't you just change UserStore to set logged in to false and save the API call?
It's to destroy the session which exists on the server.
How does this work if we want more than one page to know about UserStore object ? example:
I want to make a navigation with 'login' when the user is logged in i want it to be 'Log out' How do i access the same userstore object from the parent component?
Use react context to pass the store down to all app components.
How to add Routes V6 in this sample?
Why is mine stuck on Loading... please wait...
is mobx better than redux?
appreciated muchi :)
You are welcome!
I'm having an error on 4:39 . it says, TypeError, Class extends value undefined is not a constructor or null. can you help me ? Thanks
no the´re hooks video 4 buy the course! no money no honey i think
Why we should use react class nowadays instead of hooks?
I prefer class based components since you can write OOP code which i recommend everyone to do if they are writing an application which requires structure.
I am doing the same but it does not get out of the loading :(

Well I didn't get the observer to work, kept getting the error 'makeObservable' is not exported from 'mobx'.
Did you manage to resolve that issue, i have same problem.

This look not simple, how I can use it with Axios
Someone can send this code?
should i feel bad for copying this 1:1
Nah. Best way to start learning is copying, and then understanding each piece of the code by yourself.
