I've been playing since Feb, so same as you really. Sometimes I'll change my grip, throw, stance, darts, and everytime I change something I think I've cracked it, then I can't hit nothing again. It's a crazy game. You should buy a scolia mate, it's a great peace of kit.
Haha this is the same as me my friend. I think it might be like this for a little while and is part of the journey of becoming half decent. I have only heard great things about the Scolia, tell me more, do you have one?
@@SamsonDoesDarts180 yes, I managed to get a scolia home for £450 from a darts group on Facebook. It's the full version so has a lifetime subscription. I'm addicted to it, it makes playing so easy, it has all the same game modes and training modes as darts counter but you don't have to add up your score and enter it into your device. Also I love playing people online and with darts counter you had to setup a camera to show your not cheating, they is no need for a camera with scolia. I'm sure you would love it, especially with all the training games, all the stats it gives you, it shows your progress over the time you have been playing, a cool feature is also the heat map it gives you after a game, it shows where yours darts are going over the board. Great peace of kit and well worth the money if you love darts. Since I've had it (4 weeks) my average has gone from 39 to 43. Also registered 2 180s whilst playing online which is an amazing feeling when it happens.
I think 3 darts at each double is the way to go, until you hit can be really frustrating and probably why you havent been practicing doubles, another good double practice is first 2 darts at the big number last dart at the double count total darts hit only if you hit the double. EG hit treble, single and double score 6 points, miss the big number twice but hit double score 2 ,
I am 10000% sure I don't do much right. In the last week, I have been watching your throw analysis over and over again. It is fantastic and I am solely trying to work on technique. A lot of my problems are the inconsistency of my throwing in terms of getting the technical aspects right. For example, your recent video on follow through is fantastic and made me realise that my follow through is not black and white and with a closed palm, I need to stop 'turning the lightbulb' with it. This is helpful, but it is only so much use if I actually do it. I need to throw more arrows and engrain the techniques. This is just one element of a very long list of changes you suggested that I am working on. I was going to get another throw analysis with you once I got consistent with what you have already taught me. I feel you would tell me all of the same things at present. Perhaps my pre shot routine is better but consistency with using my wrist instead of my arm is 100 miles away from where it needs to be.
As a child, I tried to fix everything with a combination of sellotape and blue-tac, so I appreciate the use of tape here. 🤣
That's all I have in my drawers. Those two things 😂
The David Brent of darts!
🤣🤣 worst and best review I have had
We all share the love for the game. Enjoyed the video.
Cheers!

From the centre to the end multiplied by 2 ..... That's how long a piece of string is 👀😬😂
Good maths knowledge, you must be listening to my teachings
I didn't understand the lesson… but it was still a great video ;)

Cheers mate. Great ideas
42 darts at the double 5 was painful to watch... You didn't do too bad on the other doubles though. Keep at it!
Ah man was that how many. Haha shambles. Not playing my best lately.
Yesterday it took me 500 darts to get around the clock on doubles 😅 Loved the picking away at the rock analogy. Grit and determination Samo 👊🏼
Ha mate I feel your pain, keep it up, it will get easier, I am sure of it. Keep going too!
You didn't do it right, we should have a session on it. :)
