This is one of the best interviews that I’ve watched in a long time. They had a strong foundation, built up by their parents. God had his arms around this family. These two brothers learned from their mistakes and made the best of it. I salute their parents for never giving up . Great Documentary.

Brothers - I’ve never been locked up but these jewels are so useful to me as a free man. Thanks so much for this constructive dialogue about faith and humility. Al-hamdu-lilah!
These brothers said they got released at the ages of 45-47 I can’t even tell that they are a day over 35 … Health is wealth and these dudes took care of themselves in the worst conditions. They really the blueprint for some black men that need to see what living clean can do for you. Salute these dudes man 💯
Yo that’s so sad his wife passed 1.5yr after getting out. But such a blessing she was there for the kids. Really inspirational to see the 1 brother knowing in his heart he would get out one day.
This was an interesting interview., I have known these younger men all their lives never knew the full story... Thanks you guys did an awesome interview.
I’m shedding tears watching these great men’s video. You can tell they’re really really good people. Keep sharing your stories guys. Love from 🇬🇭 Ghana.
Great story I lived in Bridgeport for years so to watch and hear their story was very touching praying everything they touch will flourish to the end of time many many blessings
Unbelievable. How can the judicial system sentence people this long when murderers don’t even serve this amount of time?. And for the one fellow to lose his wife so shortly after being released? Another excellent show Ian. Keep rocking it!
Idk how this video came across my timeline but I’m so glad I watched it…and then of course I had to google them (that’s how I am)…these boys was really getting to it…glad they changed their lives around…
God the second the big brother tapped little brother to talk is milked immediately it made me miss my baby sister so so much she’s been gone almost 3 years this year from an overdose never take a second for granted their bond is so strong you can tell 30 seconds in
Wow, I am fascinated with true crime, including the prison genre, and you are hands down one of the best interviewers I’ve seen in this genre! You ask the right questions, in the right order, and it truly makes for a flawless and entertaining experience. You are now one of my favorites along side Chad Marks (Blood on the razor wire) and Matt cox!
This interview is by far my favorite on this channel, and the most informative, as well as entertaining. I cant help but feel a lot of emotional attachment to these guys towards the end. True honesty and blunt reality is so evident in their voices, as well as Ians connection with them. This is incredibly Ian, and I greatly respect what youre doing here. Such a great channel, and such a breath of fresh air to see men learning from their past.
Great episode, glad you had the brothers together for it. I think it helped a lot with telling the story of what happened and how things went on. Keep it up.
I’ve noticed that these interviews are good info for new or current parents a lot of stories on here are starting off with a good household but end still going the wrong direction. Being present and involved in your kids lives from day 1 is very important
These brothers are great examples of parents who train up their child in the way they should go and even though they go astray, they will come back. Much respect for these to brothers.
As a former guard this makes Mr so happy to see some of these sentences break your heart when they are young guys. being handed life sentences to prove a point especially on non violent charges.
I understand that it is normal to feel empathy for anyone, even more so when you know that they have been deprived of the most valuable thing we have second to life, which is freedom, but that does not imply that they are not responsible. A drug trafficker is responsible for overdose deaths, murders, violence in general, robberies, sexual abuse, human trafficking, destruction of a community etc, etc, etc. As a society, we are okay with jailing and losing the key to a murderer or rapist, but not with someone who has caused even more pain? We are not talking about a boy who sells drugs to his colleagues, nor about a por farmer in South America or Afghanistan who grows drugs or serve as a mule to earn some bucks and support his family, we are talking about people who have received an education, (free and paid by the taxpayers) who can get a legal job and earn more than 99% of the world's population and still decide to sell HEROIN and CRACK, two of the most harmful drugs that exist, in order to live a life of luxury and excess, which they arm themselves and use violence (they themselves admit it and do not clarify how), they even received a first strike, and still decide to double the bet and continue selling drugs? What is fair is a life sentence, with the luck of not living in a country that applies the law of their religion, because if not, they would have been sentenced to death there. Since they're now free, I hope they mend their ways and live a healthy and productive life, but they deserve prison, for life.
@@chadward1711 What part of my comment is not based on real facts? * They went to a higher education institute and were raised by responsible parents committed to improving the serious problems in their neighborhood. * They decided to sell hard drugs despite having job options that would allow them to have a good standard of living. * In order to maintain this activity, they surround themselves with people capable of exercising violence against their rivals because, as they themselves say, it is necessary in this "business", and they are mprisoned for illegal possession of firearms. * The older brother receives a sentence and when he gets out of jail he sell drugs again. * The sale of drugs finances criminal gangs abroad, that kill politicians, judges, police, peasants, and anyone who interferes with their operations. * A large part of drug addicts engage in stealing, prostitution, prostituting others, even minors, to maintain their addiction. *In most Islamic countries, drug trafficking is punishable by death... tell me where I'm wrong?
