- Connecting you to the Scholars of Islam
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The scholars are inheritors of the Prophets and they did not inherit the deenar nor dirham (i.e a particular type of currency within Arab countries) but they only inherited knowledge…”
So the true source in which knowledge should be sought from is the scholars of Islam.

You’re often reminded why knowledge must be taken from scholars, and not directly from books.
So many things you may read from the book, devoid of all context and nuance, and they will lead you to destruction.
Rather you ask scholars about it so they can explain everything clearly.
Indeed. Sheikh Saalih al Fawzaan said something similar
This is honestly, for the lack of a better word, genius and shows the shaykh's insight.
حفظه الله
I never know this kind of thinking. Truly, sheikh is amazing. Had he answered either way, people would have been inspired by it to the discredited of our beloved sheikh.
@@themaverick2219 then, we follow the hadith
Prescribing hadd (*punishments or legal penalties) is for those in authority, not to the laymen or common folk, if he caught her with someone else he should report it to the waliyyul amr & he will judge the matter & prescribe the punishment..
This is the proven established way in the Shariyyah (*i.e Quran & Sunnah), upon you is to find the enlightenments from Quran & Sunnah.
Adultery is punishable by death
By the judge, not by an individual
Here there is a dilemma that I don't understand, if a man discovers another man with his wife, according to Islamic laws the penalty is applied if there are 4 witnesses or maybe less , i don't remember (this witnesses must be muslims and well known to the community for practise their dēen) they must saw the act , as like the case of fornication. This consideration is rare in Islamic history, so taking revenge and killing the man who committed adultery with his wife would be easier than hoping that to have muslim eyewitnesses (which is impossible especially in these times). Unless you know they are doing adultery and in short whiel you run to look for 4 witnesses hoping that the wife and the man haven't finished the act. If anyone can give me an answer, jazakha Allah khair
Please take my answer with a grain of salt as I can't remember where and from whom I heard this from. In the case where 4 witnesses is not applicable , the accuser can swear by Allah and have the curse of Allah be upon them if he/she is lying. Therefore punishment can still be given to the one being accused without the need of 4 witnesses.
@@Adorkablesyes and this is only applicable in between spouses.
