I love Ace but I wish Todd would have done more of the singing. Ace just cant sing lol... I love the guy but stick to the guitar dude! .. That mic setup though is horrible..
John Regan was the only member to stay 1983- 1990 with the band, co-wr, produced sometimes and him and his wife ran the fan club!!!! RIP in Rock and Roll Heaven our Friend.....
Met John when he was touring with Peter Frampton years ago and they were performing at Bass Performance Hall in Ft Worth, TX. John was coming into the building near where my friends and I were also coming in and he insisted on opening the door for all of us. I made the comment of appreciation to him that chivalry was not dead and he had a chuckle at that and wished us a good evening and that he hoped we would enjoy the show. It was my birthday and they were recording that evening. When we got to the window, my friends said our seats had been moved up because they weren't full house.
Carlos Solorzano Ok, to be super specific, Ace co-wrote it with Eric Carr. So it's one of the best riffs or songs that Ace has ever "co-written." I should have been more clear.
"Calling To You"gave me chills when I was 16 in `87 and still does at less than a month before I turn 50!!!Howarth,you are such a talented musician.......still got it........I remember the local Z62 radio station, here in Maine, having a 90 minute special when this record came out........
Weak link of Frehley's Comet is actually Frehley himself. The other guys are dumbing it down to Ace's stumbly, rusty off note playing. Anton most definitely. That dude can play any style.
Wow! I remember when The Comet just hit Earth! Known John Regan since 1964 and met Frehley and Scarlet. Lol what a treat Ace allowing the audience to finish the lyrics. Keep posting these...
I always root for Ace. He was KISS's most talented member. Sure he's a shadow of his former self, he's 67 for crying out loud. But seeing and hearing him now gives me ☮️! Rock on, Spaceman!!
@@slowdancer5563 Right, that's why Kiss has been playing arenas for 46 years and Ace plays the local rib cook off. But of course the Frehley clown posse thinks he's great. He's crap
Have any of you gotten to know Ace by know? He is famous for showing up late or not showing up at all to rehearsals . He did it with Kiss , Frehley’s Comet & and his solo band.
Say all u want I still think they kick ass. Rock soldiers was my song when I was at the 101st fort Campbell. We would go out in the field for 30 days or so and this would be the first thing I would listen too when I hit town again. Blasting on my kraco cassette player in my 68 Ford. Thanks ace! I don't even listen to kiss anymore but Ace...all day long!
Really wish Ace would of put sometime in relurning those Frehley's Comet tunes, would of been a killer show 🎸🎶 Must say Anton,John and Todd fucking rock !! ✌ & ❤ guy's 😆
I'm old and saw the best bands..The "Ace is Back" tour was incredibly played ( Albany , NY)....nothing like this..but hey, he's Ace...Tod was excellent then and now.
I love Ace for everything he´s done, but this is what happens when you have people around you telling you how great you are, no matter what . You may forget you need to practise. I went to an Ace concert last year and he played great, but saddly his performance here sucks. P.S. He played rock soldiers too (as he always does)
Because the band is called Four By Fate and not Frehley's Comet. And the Comet reunion was the two songs performed by the members of Frehley's Comet, not the whole show.
I saw Ace Live in October of last year. He still sounded as amazing as he did in 1976, but he didn't play any Frehley's Comet songs. I was disappointed then, but I see why now...
This is awsome, ace is just ace, Todd’s gone from big hair or ruff neck cowboy, and John Reagan looks like gene simmonds brother 😂 absolute brilliance, oh and I was at the hammy o in 88 👍
I really believe Ace suffers from some pretty significant cognitive issues do to tbi from car accidents and many years of alcohol and drug abuse. I think this is why his playing playing suffers. We are lucky he is around at all. I can forgive him and still try and enjoy the music
i disagree. lack of practice is the reason he played so poorly here. Ace did zero preparation. Guys like Pat, Todd and Anton obviously respect being a musician much more. Very sad when Ace disrespects the fans he claims to have so much admiration for.
It’s just about coming to the acceptance and realization that curly is a little frayed at the ends!oh and yeah meet me at the ace frehley poster at Madison square garden!
Dam its hard to hear Ace sounding this unrehearsed I really liked Ace so much growing up it's why I bought a guitar ,Todd is just a way better player and singer I wish they would have played it's over now that was such a powerful tune!
Who played drums after Anton Fig basically quit the band to stay with The Dave Letterman Show because Jamie Odaker was on the second album and tour but no more
Nice to see john regan and Tod again. The band is better without ace, its sad but age is taking its toll i suppose. And Anton Fig..what a drummer he is😊
How is no one mentioning Tod's vocals. Amazing. 30 years and still that great. Wow.
He has/had his own YT channel. Great solo material and vocals.
Terrible taste in guitars, terrible clothing style, but all style aside... he can sing great still.
I love Ace but I wish Todd would have done more of the singing. Ace just cant sing lol... I love the guy but stick to the guitar dude! .. That mic setup though is horrible..
Those Steinbeck guitars are ugly as hell.... Les Paul's smokes them
Shit, Todd sounds better than Ace, here! Guitars and vocals. Ace doesn’t sound very good here!!
Breakout...fantastic tune.
Tod Howarth -- fantastic!! Sounds the same as he did 30 years ago. "Something Moved" and "Calling to You" such great songs.
Anton, Tod and John were the glue that held this together for Ace. I love Tod's vocals.
Anton Fig is an amazing drummer.
Kiss shoulda kicked Peter out way earlier and got Anton in permanently.
Damn, Tod has not missed a beat...and he still looks the part. These songs sound so good, I forgot how good these songs are.
Todd Howarth sounds amazing! I have been waiting on a Frehley's Comet tour for 25 years (got their 1st album in 1993)
His current band is way better just needs Anton Fig on the drums..
Always thought Ace surrounded himself with stellar players way outta his league. Tod being exhibit A

Breakout is arguably the best riff Ace has ever written. I get goosebumps from breakout to this day.
Carlos Solorzano Ok, to be super specific, Ace co-wrote it with Eric Carr. So it's one of the best riffs or songs that Ace has ever "co-written." I should have been more clear.
I take it you've never listen to the Hotter than Hell LP before...
I was gonna say, that doesn’t really sound like an Ace riff.
Ace Frehley with Frehleys Comet Live Reunion Rocks. 4EVER Ace Frehley ! ! !
Guys like Ace serve a distinct function. They make the rest of us better.
I been waiting for this for a long long time
Todd was on fire!!
"Calling To You"gave me chills when I was 16 in `87 and still does at less than a month before I turn 50!!!Howarth,you are such a talented musician.......still got it........I remember the local Z62 radio station, here in Maine, having a 90 minute special when this record came out........
Loved that song when 707 originally did it as "Megaforce",as well as the Ace version.
Tod howarth still has it. He rocks this shit
And Anton rules doesn't he
Dear GAWD, Ace... Jon Regan and Anton Fig, and hell, even Tod Howarth...and this is how you play??
Weak link of Frehley's Comet is actually Frehley himself. The other guys are dumbing it down to Ace's stumbly, rusty off note playing. Anton most definitely. That dude can play any style.
Wow! I remember when The Comet just hit Earth! Known John Regan since 1964 and met Frehley and Scarlet. Lol what a treat Ace allowing the audience to finish the lyrics. Keep posting these...
There's a Fig on the drums!
Seen him with Robert Gordon two months ago,guy is great
I always root for Ace. He was KISS's most talented member. Sure he's a shadow of his former self, he's 67 for crying out loud. But seeing and hearing him now gives me ☮️! Rock on, Spaceman!!
Ace made KISS.

@@whataboutrob442 Thank you for saying it bro. So agree. I will take Bruce Kulick all day over Ace.
Have any of you gotten to know Ace by know? He is famous for showing up late or not showing up at all to rehearsals . He did it with Kiss , Frehley’s Comet & and his solo band.
Ace ...tour time has come.
We love ya...bit you aint the same.
thnx 4 all..
Love seeing Anton back there!

Great to see them together 4 by fate kickin ass
I love Ace but that was REALLY HARD to watch! Todd still sounds amazing. The rest of the band didn't suck either, always loved Anton.
The name of the songs are "Something moved"(14:55), "Calling to you" (18:35)
Awesome! Seeing 'em together again!
Really wish Ace would of put sometime in relurning those Frehley's Comet tunes, would of been a killer show 🎸🎶 Must say Anton,John and Todd fucking rock !! ✌ & ❤ guy's 😆
Damn! For what he does vocally, Howarth can still bring it!
live petaluma, ca 2018...great vid
Four By Fate rules. Saw them live in Jersey a few years ago . Excellent band!
All nice guys met them, all FCKIN talented 💖💖🇬🇧
Tod , john anton, Pat are fantastic. Ace turned up n that's about it.
Rock on Ace and the gang. Saw them at Hammersmith Odeon UK. AWESOME 😎🇬🇧🤟💫💥
Hey, we all had 45 years to enjoy Ace music, lets celebrate!
I love this reunion wow.
For you, Allan "Merlin", RIP 2019, Souvenirs, I miss you...
Ace isn’t half bad for a deaf man. Anton is as a beast as always!
Still bending the strings of hearts and lovers of the same
John Reagan one of the best bass guitarist around.
Brilliant nice to see the guys💖🇬🇧💖🇺🇲
RIP John Regan
I'm old and saw the best bands..The "Ace is Back" tour was incredibly played ( Albany , NY)....nothing like this..but hey, he's Ace...Tod was excellent then and now.
Que buena voz la de tod , esta igual que antes!!! Aguante ace!!!
Rest easy John, you deserve it.
Amazing.!!!!!! I ❤ 80.!!!!!!!
The old guard still has it on top.
Great ...
Hail from AustriA
I love Ace for everything he´s done, but this is what happens when you have people around you telling you how great you are, no matter what . You may forget you need to practise. Yeah, I’ve seen some Ace concerts on RUclips and he’s spot on, but this is not a good performance of his, no matter how much I love his work.
so much better when ace left ...like a real rock concert
Damm todd, regan, and affuso sound great
Bad Ace is still good Ace. Luv to Todd , Anton, and John.
I wish i could have been there.
Foi muito bom esse projeto
TURN IT UP!!!!!
Thanks for sharing!
Tod Howarth still sounds amazing! Surprising he never hooked on with another band.
Joseph Cyr yes he did, he played with several bands. Listen to megaforce with his band 707..a classic
He is playing with Four By Fate...
He also played keys side stage with Cheap Trick, at least on their 25th Anniversary Concert in Rockford,IL
@@janerikmellesdal3868 He isnt singing it in 707 Jimmy Chalfant is.
very cool
The greatest American hero plays guitar loved todd in the movie house
Happy to see Brett Michels help Ace out on riff rampage!! Totally awsome!!
Just saw Ace in Rome NY last Friday.... He did a great job for being 73. He was honest about his abilities and did a wardrobe change like Cher!!!😂😂😂
This is Some Beyond Awesome Ish....🤘🏾🎼🔊🔊🔊🔊🔥🔥🔥
When's the last time Ace played those songs? Not surprising he's out of practice. He's played mostly Kiss songs solo after 96
Ace plays those songs with his solo band at every gig.
Good point. Don't you think he should have had a little 'brush up' on them before completely embarrassing himself again?
how can u play a comet reunion without playing into the night??
JamesSweet or insane!
I don’t think they ever played that live, even on their first tour.
how can you caLL band frehleys comet, and ace frehley only plays two songs? what a joke,
Because the band is called Four By Fate and not Frehley's Comet. And the Comet reunion was the two songs performed by the members of Frehley's Comet, not the whole show.
Yes they did.

I was there !
Awesome show!
I think Ace is used to his band following him and his quirks. Once John Regan showed Ace what key Breakout is in, they really started cooking'.
Looks worth being there for.
Awesome!
Ace should wear his star leggins pants
...so i guess Ace didn't rehearse this.
Ace doesn't rehearse much of anything if he can get out of it.
He definitely got lost.
LucaKiss70 and I guess your a pro ha
strtngfrsh some people are good enough they don't need practice I can go 1 year and play as good before I put it down
Didnt it get put together at this expo. Oh I guess that they did a reunion set in Pennsylvania also
Of course great musicians...rock soldiers...Ace had an amazing run
He is a great guitarist in my eyes.
R.i.p Dimebag! LOVE YOU BROTHER!!
Something moved
Okay.. that was rough. But good to see Frehley alive and kicking. Anton is still one of the greatest living drummers on the planet!
New years eve ball drop but I’m celebrating drunk go. the hotel
This is awsome, ace is just ace, Todd’s gone from big hair or ruff neck cowboy, and John Reagan looks like gene simmonds brother 😂 absolute brilliance, oh and I was at the hammy o in 88 👍
Cool

WWWOOOWWWWWWW
Shock Me!
Great to see Rob Affuso!!! Pounding the drums!!!!
que buen reencuentro, lástima que el sitio sea pequeño, no tiene buena acústica¡
Todd, brother, that flag guitar is just so damn cool.
Love Ace, but he's a mere shadow of himself now. Audience is being very thoughtful.
Crutch456 ...but still the legend!! Can you do that???
Lol, it doesn't matter whether I can do that. That's not the point.
CRAZY,GUY IS BETTER THEN NEW ROCK KIDS
Another great bedroom guitar player,be easy pal
Who played drums after Anton Fig basically quit the band to stay with The Dave Letterman Show because Jamie Odaker was on the second album and tour but no more
HEY CHRIS GREAT FOOTAGE!! CONTACT ME BRO!! LOVE TO EDIT SOME
Oh wow that hurts !!! Sorry Eugene but damn practice !!!
Was that John Regan talking with his dentures in?
Sometimes, you need to leave the past in the past. This is one of those times.
ROCK SOLDIER
Nice to see john regan and Tod again. The band is better without ace, its sad but age is taking its toll i suppose. And Anton Fig..what a drummer he is😊
I so hope they tour, but I don’t see it happening! Ace just didn’t seem into it! I can hope tho;🤪🤘🏼!!!
I like this line up better
👍🤘Ace♠🤘👌
The man who threw away the best job in the world..
Twice!
So glad I didn't go see him when he came to NYC. Imagine he has the nerve to charge $500 to sign you guitar on top of ticket price.
