Mountain lions and cheetahs meow too, as do bobcats and lynx. Still, not a house cat. To be honest , mountain lions are less cranky than Pallas cats. It would be a no.
BRAVO! Thanks for informing people that these Pallas cats belong in their wild natural environment NOT in a domestic pet situation. Wild animals of all kinds belong in the wild. People need to stop 🛑 trying to keep them as pets.
The first time I saw a Pallas cat in a zoo, the kitty was NOT having these tall, furless beasts stare at them. He bared his teeth and seriously hissed. None of the visitors was teasing him but that didn't matter. Get the heck away from me!!
I read about a woman who was followed home by a kitten. She raised it for two years. One day when she was out three men broke into her home to rob it. One man surprised the cat sleeping in a closet. The cat ripped his throat out, mauled the second man, and the third escaped in the chaos. The cat was a Pallas cat and was shortly taken to a wildlife sanctuary. Another time a man had broken a window and was trying to get at the doorknob. The ordinary house cat, who's previous owner had it declawed, still managed to severely damage his arm. All cats are badass.
I wish I could go to where they are and see them in the wild, but they are very hard to find/see so I guess that is one bucket list item that won't get crossed off.
Why are people never satisfied with what they already have? The domesticated cat provides you with all you need, not to mention endless gifs and video clip fun, but no, “I want a cat that’s difficult to keep and ultimately going to send me to the emergency room.”
I still want one. Look at them. They're so cute.🥰 But I respect. Not like other people who have skunks, raccoons, and even possums as pets. I'll just admire from afar.☺️
They are beautiful but I wouldn't have one in the home. I love cats and came across an amazing feral cat who happened to be ready for human touch and wanted safety. Prue was wonderful.
Why must they be so damn cute? 🤦 It's like putting a little baby in front of your eyes with the warning that if you touch that baby, it will bite your hand off!🥺

So yeah, the answer's no! But, of course, it was a trick/rhetorical question. With so many Felis Catus cuties in need of a good home, you might want to start (and stay) there.
Aww, poor babies. Though, I gotta say, they still remind me of ‘domestic’ cats. Mine and my mom’s cats both hunt small wild animals. I sometimes have to release small live birds back outside after my oldest cat likely brought it in and we find dead moles around our houses or live mice running around. We don’t know how my mom’s cat finds his way out of her home when she’s on vacation and left him inside.
They did a study comparing all cats big and little wild and domestic what they found didn’t surprise me at all. They found the only difference between them is size. So if your house cat was the size of a lion you could be in trouble
