Also, if the goal was cutting into spiral... unless you are a professional/you have a lot of skill and practice a knife won't get you a perfect spiral, like in this video. Speed is not everything, is secondary - being precise is more important, when you achieve that, you can focus on speed

The twirler definitely worked better in my opinion it doesn’t really matter the time it matters how good of a job it did and I think the swirler did better once she started twisting the cucumber.Hence the worlds sharpest knife cucumber just fell apart

With knife skills a knife always works best in well under a minute. You simply hold the knife at a 45° angle against the cucumber and twist it around the blade to achieve the same spirals

don't use skewers. use chopsticks since they are thicker so you won't cut the cucumber through
