So I Did IT!!! LOVE THESE LIL GADGETS!!!! Thank you! Although I called the dealer where we purchased the RV and the Manufacturer, neither will tell me where i can attach the gauge.
I just finished installing my system. The 1 point not in the instructions that you made was about the panel calibration tank size method. I never would have known to do that if I hadn't watched the video. Thanks.
If you go on their website they have mounts that you can purchase to put these sensors into. They would also work on the steel tanks, they will help you center it every time.
Does the Pro sensor have a USB plug to connect via the power bank or throw other power supplies? How long does his battery live? I want to install the sensor on my car's propane tank 70 liters. It is cylindrical and located horizontally. Will this pro version sensor work? Thank you.
No it does not have the USB plug but the battery lasts a long time. I believe they work on horizontal tanks as well and they do have a mounting collar as a way of mounting.
The most frustrating part of these sensor installs is the placement / alignment piece. Also, the pucks move when you're traveling and encounter rough roads, requiring another round of placement / alignment in order to get somewhat accurate tank level readings.

Glad it helped!
Thanks, best video yet on this install.
I’ve had mine for a couple years. I love it.
Great job Jimmy2Tech...
You mentioned these can be used on aluminium tanks, so how do you stick the sensor onto the bottle its not magnetic?

Question. When you refill the tanks do you take them off so you don’t loose them?

What can I use for lubrication when I change the battery?
You can get the Mopeka Ultrasonic dielectric Grease from Amazon. Here is a link

Thank you!!! Just ordered!
Are these water proof
Much harder to center with a full 100 lb vertical tank. I just set mine up. 😁
Mine is about as centered as yours.
