For me the Sniper Nest is way better 1. It's cheaper to get 2. It doesn't make as much noise and I can still hear enemy footsteps 3. I love the kill sound from the Sniper Nest

Honestly I think that the Thresher and Hellstorm are an underrated combo: they can both be used even if the Air Space is full, they can both be used to destroy enemy aircraft (including the Gunship!) and cant be countered with launchers.
I use the sniper nest because with the attack helicopter ppl hear that and think one or two things 1. Let me shoot that down. OR 2. Let me not go outside. But with the sniper nest ppl think. 1. I'll just dodge and weave so it can't hit me. 2. It's probably not even looking at me. Or 3. They forgot there was an enemy sniper's nest. Or just hoped it disappeared.
The kn57 is not that comparable to the rampart do to its fire rate. The rampart is just like a slow firing hard hitting gun and the kn has more fire rate and less damage but it would be interesting to see how their TTKs compare with the double high caliber for the rampart.
There is a slight Problem with your statistics of Kills/Use: For a pretty long time (~2 Months, if I remember correctly) the Snipers Nest took 1 more rocket to shoot down compared to the Chopper. Since both of the streaks are almost every time I use them shot out of the sky and SN took considerably longer to do so for a solid two months it had a pretty big advantage in your statistic. For me : Snipers Nest Kills 2917 (744 Uses) - 3.92 Kills Per Use Attack Chopper Kills 1451 (329 Uses) -4.41 Kills Per Use ------ However even though the Attack Chopper can get more kills per use I prefer the Snipers Nest just because Zero can not take control over it.
Technically, you can take out the snipers nest with 2 shots from any bolt action sniper by shooting the actual snipers themselves off the helicopter with a head shot. But I still think the snipers nest is better.
If you're referring to him using Zero then yh that's pretty stupid, worst idea ever for a specialist, but if you mean he's shooting it down then you can't rly complain, at least he's being a team player when he's doing badly in KD.

However, since the sniper nest moves from one spot to the other and stands still, you could snipe out the 'strike team' members (they are called so check the feed when you kill one on a sniper nest) so with someone using the paladin it would be one shot to the head WITHOUT FMJ but i think you have to have high caliber 1 and 2 im not sure, well pretty much every one uses these two attachments lets face it. Not to mention you could destroy a sniper nest with a hell storm, not sure if you could do that to the attack chopper i dont know, if u read this and have taken down an attack chopper with a hell storm let me know, but yeah other then that cant really think of a down side for the sniper nest against the attack chopper. Really wondering what the developers were thinking, lol.

What would be the comparison? They are very far apart elements. This comes down to opinions, some may prefer the crash pack, while others will like scavenger. Hard stats cannot be compared.
You should have included thresher! It can damage through low buildings and one huge advantage is that it’s much harder to take it down than snipers nest and attack chopper. It doesn’t hover, it just keeps moving back and fourth. It used to be trash but since they’ve buffed it I consistently get 5-6 kills with it per use
As far as my understanding, the attack chopper was really powerful at launch but they nerfed it pretty bad and then snipers nest basically replaced it. But I do say at the moment I do get more kills with snipers nest then I do with attack chopper
A hard one to pin-point on an overall effectiveness because one of the biggest variables would be how many enemy players are running cold blooded. And who is dumb enough to stand underneath them without taking any cover whatsoever, racking up kills for the happy user 🙄 It happens. I never run the chopper for all the reasons outlined in this video. Sometimes the snipers nest goes berserk, other times you get 1/2 kills. Another variable is what map you earn it on. Some maps have a lot more cover, others not so much. I know some players change scorestreaks depending on the map. I can never be arsed with that. I've always felt they should implement scorestreak classes for this purpose. Perhaps a selection of 3 or whatever.
The best streaks really are the Mantis, Sniper's Nest, Thresher and Gunship. Strike Team is a decent option unless you are in a lobby with someone that understands how easy it is to take them out but Zero can't steal any of them and the thresher and gunship are next to impossible to shoot down with rockets or a paladin.

Agree. I mostly get them through care packages. The standard Titan class will wreck both. I’ll wait for a death to pull it, though, in a close match, I’ll jump off the map to destroy one almost immediately (doesn’t affect game score and my KD is only 1.46 anyway). Both can be shot down on their way in. BTW, Strike Team is easiest to shoot down.

One thing I was hoping you'd cover in this video is how these streaks deal with targets that use Cold Blooded. In my personal experience, after I switch to my dedicated anti-air class that has Engineer and Cold Blooded to shoot these streaks down, I've found that the Attack Chopper does a much better job at still killing me before I can take it down with my launcher or FMJ2 Titan. The Snipers Nest shoots at me and very often misses enough times that I take it down without dying, but the Attack Chopper more often than not kills me once, sometimes even twice, before I can take it down. It still seems like the Sniper's Nest is better overall, but from my experience, the Attack Chopper does have that advantage at still killing enemies that have Cold Blooded.
You also have ONE more way to make the snipers nest un-usable..you can also just snipe the snipers out of the snipers nest quite easely with a sniper rifle.

I was thinking the same thing today. Was dropped into a match where it was 42-10. Sniper was called in, killed me 5 times before I could shoot it down. Attack helicopter took one life before I took it down. Couldn't help but think about this, and changed my score streaks to nest
For myself, playing 90% hardcore kill modes...for chopper 279 uses with kill/use 3.26...for snipers nest 523 uses with kill/use 3.24...still makes way more sense to use snipers nest with score needed and not hackable to turn against.

My subjective, untested findings echo exactly what you're saying in the video; I always suspected that the Sniper's Nest was superior, and now I see it confirmed. Also, the Attack Chopper sometimes gives you hit markers, whereas the Sniper's Nest is always a certain kill. The Sniper's Nest is also much quieter than the Attack Chopper, which is yet another advantage as people tend to just forget that it's up in the sky.
Here's my stats for comparison: Sniper's Nest: 3317 kills in 877 uses Attack Chopper: 1303 EKIA, 1220 kills in 309 uses. So Sniper's Nest is 3.78 EKIA/Use and 3.78 Kills/Use, the Chopper is at 4.22 EKIA/Use and 3.95 Kills/Use.
8,678 kills with the Sniper's Nest with 2,319 uses. 278 kills with the Attack Helicopter with 86 uses. At 1,300 score for an Attack Helicopter versus the 1,350 for a Strike Team; it's a no brainer to just use it over the Attack Helicopter. Also worth mentioning in my experience, people tend to hide more often because the Attack Helicopter is so LOUD (likewise for Thresher). People just ignore Sniper's Nests for the most part and run around regardless. Moreover, every time a Sniper's Nest shot connects, it's a kill, the same can't be said for the Attack Helicopter.
3.83 nest to 3.88 chopper. I have a titan with dual ext mags and dual fmj. If quick I can take out either before dying. But usually when a nest comes out, a strike team is right behind and I concentrate on that copter first.
The attack chopper can get you some serious kills but the down side is it can be hacked and turn on you where as the snipers nest can also get a quality amount of kills but if its hacked it just blows up.
There is also one more issue - when using rocket launcher against the two streaks, the attack chopper kills you faster and more than the sniper's nest. It's probably the same with FMJ weapons.
I’ve gotten 972 snipers nest and 3,792 kills with it. 3.90 kills per use, little larger sample size and furthermore solidifies the snipers nest is better than the chopper. I’ve always used the snipers nest rather than the chopper just because of Zero.
Xclusive if you want to try some of the dlc weapons out you can go to zombies, they have the S6 stingray and the Vendetta there, of course when it comes to gun guides it's going to be more difficult, but it's still fun
@TheXclusiveAce you can kill the Sniper's nest in two shots. I've done this with the Paladin, not sure about the other rifles. One shot to the head on either of the snipers will eliminate them. I always do this with FMJ 2, but I'm not sure if it's required.
My favorite kill steak of all is the escort from from blops 2. Nothing has ever been like that again. So fun for rushers. In the future it will happen again.

My stats are: Sniper’s Nest: 367 kills, 87uses, so 4.22 k/u. Attack Chopper: 130 kills, 43 uses, so 3.02 k/u. So at least for me, the Sniper’s Neat has treated me a lot better. Also, Ace, I’d love to see a comparison between the 9 bang and the concussion grenade.
If you’re trying to streak and use the attack chopper you pretty much have to play zero and save your ice pick so you can hack your streaks back when they inevitably get taken from you by a guy going 8-26
TheKevinHough nope it isn’t. As long as spectre locks on, you are kind of fucked unless you can kill or tase him with prophet before he makes it to you. He can still be damaged while lunging though so he can be killed by dragon breath pretty easily.
I would like to make a suggestion for the time to get to map section, maybe you should do a range from how long it takes to get to nuketown compared to the largest map in the game
I was expecting you to mention the fact that you can shoot the actual snipers with normal weapons to kill them. I was wondering how much that would affect the effectiveness of the sniper's nest, but unless you forgot, I guess not very much.
My attack chopper has a 4.18 KPU and my snipers nest has a 4.10 KPU and that's with the same sample size as you had. I genuinely prefer the attack chopper as it kinda feels like it scares the enemies just a bit more aswell and will make them panic more as it's constantly shooting and being really loud 🤷🏼♂️
Another thing, maybe the attack chopper does this too but the snipers nest takes out other equipment too, it's killed lots of dogs for me and I've even seen it snipe out tripmines
For me I called in Sniper's nest 322 times with a EKIA of 1218, EKIA ratio of 3.78 Attcak chopper with a usage of 214 times with a EKIA of 671. EKIA ratio of 3.14 In my opinion ever since the sniper nest's buff the attcak chopper became pretty much useless due to the higher score requirement and the with the introduction of ZERO it's even worse now. Besides, the attack chopper is way louder compare to the sniper's nest, sometimes it muffles enemy's footsteps and other sounds
I find the snipers nest much more difficult to take down than the attack chopper. Pissed me off when the buffed it to take an extra rocket. If it moves even slightly when you are trying to lock on, you lose the lock. Usually just as i am firing. The attack chopper is much easier to lock on to.
My stats: Sniper's Nest / 140 uses / 465 kills / 3.32 KIA Attack Chopper / 35 uses / 116 kills / 3.31 KIA Not enough Attack Chopper calls to be significant data unfortunately. Preferred UAV/CUAV/Hellstorm first 3 months, then Zero came out and I quit using flippable lethal streaks (Drone/Sentry/AChop).
The only slight, and probably minor, problem I have is the number of kills difference between the two. Or maybe even the number of uses between them. I personally would've liked to see the difference between the kills be close to or under a hundred, or maybe number of use be a bit closer for a better comparison but I can understand why the use of the heli is much lower in this game given that at any moment it can be unjustly stolen by a bad player.
The sniper's nest stays far away from you and it locks on to the people who are trying to take it out, while the attack helicopter gets in front of you before attacking, it also cant kill you if the front of the helicopter isnt facing you

Glad got made this video i always wondered why the attack chopper was more when i always get more kills with the snipers nest honestly i think it's the second best streak in the game slightly behind the gun ship and i mean slightly simply because the gun ship is really easy to hack and destroy and the snipers nest only gets destroyed if zero hacks it before it's actually on the field i use my snipers nest all the time after zero hacks my team as long as it makes it on the field first if she hacks it as soon as you call it then it will never make it to the map

You can completely disable a snipers nest by headshotting the strike unit snipers with any sniper rifle though, rendering it useless

Agree. I mostly get them through care packages. The standard Titan class will wreck both. I’ll wait for a death to pull it, though, in a close match, I’ll jump off the map to destroy one almost immediately (doesn’t affect game score and my KD is only 1.46 anyway). Both can be shot down on their way in. BTW, Strike Team is easiest to shoot down.

You forgot to mention the best sound effect on the game is from the Sniper’s Nest. So satisfying!

Gun ship is hands down. I average 10 kills with but get 13-18 easy. Per use depending on map

One thing I was hoping you'd cover in this video is how these streaks deal with targets that use Cold Blooded. In my personal experience, after I switch to my dedicated anti-air class that has Engineer and Cold Blooded to shoot these streaks down, I've found that the Attack Chopper does a much better job at still killing me before I can take it down with my launcher or FMJ2 Titan. The Snipers Nest shoots at me and very often misses enough times that I take it down without dying, but the Attack Chopper more often than not kills me once, sometimes even twice, before I can take it down.
It still seems like the Sniper's Nest is better overall, but from my experience, the Attack Chopper does have that advantage at still killing enemies that have Cold Blooded.
You also have ONE more way to make the snipers nest un-usable..you can also just snipe the snipers out of the snipers nest quite easely with a sniper rifle.

I would buff attack choopers duration from 70s to 90s, he can tank one more Rocket, isn't hackable, and takes (instead of 7s) 5s to arrive.

I was thinking the same thing today. Was dropped into a match where it was 42-10. Sniper was called in, killed me 5 times before I could shoot it down. Attack helicopter took one life before I took it down. Couldn't help but think about this, and changed my score streaks to nest
For myself, playing 90% hardcore kill modes...for chopper 279 uses with kill/use 3.26...for snipers nest 523 uses with kill/use 3.24...still makes way more sense to use snipers nest with score needed and not hackable to turn against.

My subjective, untested findings echo exactly what you're saying in the video; I always suspected that the Sniper's Nest was superior, and now I see it confirmed. Also, the Attack Chopper sometimes gives you hit markers, whereas the Sniper's Nest is always a certain kill. The Sniper's Nest is also much quieter than the Attack Chopper, which is yet another advantage as people tend to just forget that it's up in the sky.
Here's my stats for comparison:
Sniper's Nest: 3317 kills in 877 uses
Attack Chopper: 1303 EKIA, 1220 kills in 309 uses.
So Sniper's Nest is 3.78 EKIA/Use and 3.78 Kills/Use, the Chopper is at 4.22 EKIA/Use and 3.95 Kills/Use.
I wholeheartedly agree with you ace.
One is able to shoot down the snipers of the snipers nest separately...
8,678 kills with the Sniper's Nest with 2,319 uses.
278 kills with the Attack Helicopter with 86 uses.
At 1,300 score for an Attack Helicopter versus the 1,350 for a Strike Team; it's a no brainer to just use it over the Attack Helicopter.
Also worth mentioning in my experience, people tend to hide more often because the Attack Helicopter is so LOUD (likewise for Thresher). People just ignore Sniper's Nests for the most part and run around regardless. Moreover, every time a Sniper's Nest shot connects, it's a kill, the same can't be said for the Attack Helicopter.
3.83 nest to 3.88 chopper. I have a titan with dual ext mags and dual fmj. If quick I can take out either before dying. But usually when a nest comes out, a strike team is right behind and I concentrate on that copter first.

The attack chopper can get you some serious kills but the down side is it can be hacked and turn on you where as the snipers nest can also get a quality amount of kills but if its hacked it just blows up.
There is also one more issue - when using rocket launcher against the two streaks, the attack chopper kills you faster and more than the sniper's nest. It's probably the same with FMJ weapons.
I’ve gotten 972 snipers nest and 3,792 kills with it. 3.90 kills per use, little larger sample size and furthermore solidifies the snipers nest is better than the chopper.
I’ve always used the snipers nest rather than the chopper just because of Zero.

Attack Chopper: 46/10 = 4.6 K/U
However, I still like the Sniper's Nest a loy more.
Xclusive if you want to try some of the dlc weapons out you can go to zombies, they have the S6 stingray and the Vendetta there, of course when it comes to gun guides it's going to be more difficult, but it's still fun
I completely agree! I use the Titan with FMJ 2 and its way easier to destroy an Attack Chopper in my experience!
@TheXclusiveAce you can kill the Sniper's nest in two shots. I've done this with the Paladin, not sure about the other rifles. One shot to the head on either of the snipers will eliminate them. I always do this with FMJ 2, but I'm not sure if it's required.
*The best **_"Lethal"_** thing in Black Ops 4 are the microtransactions. Just look at how much of the community it killed.*
My favorite kill steak of all is the escort from from blops 2. Nothing has ever been like that again. So fun for rushers. In the future it will happen again.

I noticed that most streaks in this game are kind of lackluster by themselves but the combinations are what make them lethal.
Snipers nest: 150 kills, 40 uses so 3.75 kills per use
Attack chopper: 274 kills, 67 uses so 4.08 kills per use
But I used the Attack Chopper more in the beginning of the game when there was no Zero and people didn't shoot it down as much
Snipers Nest: 226 uses 820 kills = 3.628 Attack Chopper: 105 uses 387 kills = 3.685

Holy crap, I never actually looked into it before, but the app shows my average kills with the Sniper's Nest is 4.8 and only 3.7 with the attack chopper. I legitimately thought the attack chopper was getting more kills...now I have no reason to run this streak. Thanks for the video.

So at least for me, the Sniper’s Neat has treated me a lot better.

Guy with only 10 kills or less/going negative: Zero hacking our systems.
If you’re trying to streak and use the attack chopper you pretty much have to play zero and save your ice pick so you can hack your streaks back when they inevitably get taken from you by a guy going 8-26

TheKevinHough nope it isn’t. As long as spectre locks on, you are kind of fucked unless you can kill or tase him with prophet before he makes it to you. He can still be damaged while lunging though so he can be killed by dragon breath pretty easily.
I would like to make a suggestion for the time to get to map section, maybe you should do a range from how long it takes to get to nuketown compared to the largest map in the game
I was expecting you to mention the fact that you can shoot the actual snipers with normal weapons to kill them. I was wondering how much that would affect the effectiveness of the sniper's nest, but unless you forgot, I guess not very much.
My attack chopper has a 4.18 KPU and my snipers nest has a 4.10 KPU and that's with the same sample size as you had. I genuinely prefer the attack chopper as it kinda feels like it scares the enemies just a bit more aswell and will make them panic more as it's constantly shooting and being really loud 🤷🏼♂️
Another thing, maybe the attack chopper does this too but the snipers nest takes out other equipment too, it's killed lots of dogs for me and I've even seen it snipe out tripmines

I called in Sniper's nest 322 times with a EKIA of 1218, EKIA ratio of 3.78
Attcak chopper with a usage of 214 times with a EKIA of 671. EKIA ratio of 3.14
In my opinion ever since the sniper nest's buff the attcak chopper became pretty much useless due to the higher score requirement and the with the introduction of ZERO it's even worse now. Besides, the attack chopper is way louder compare to the sniper's nest, sometimes it muffles enemy's footsteps and other sounds
I find the snipers nest much more difficult to take down than the attack chopper. Pissed me off when the buffed it to take an extra rocket. If it moves even slightly when you are trying to lock on, you lose the lock. Usually just as i am firing. The attack chopper is much easier to lock on to.

Not enough Attack Chopper calls to be significant data unfortunately. Preferred UAV/CUAV/Hellstorm first 3 months, then Zero came out and I quit using flippable lethal streaks (Drone/Sentry/AChop).
The only slight, and probably minor, problem I have is the number of kills difference between the two. Or maybe even the number of uses between them. I personally would've liked to see the difference between the kills be close to or under a hundred, or maybe number of use be a bit closer for a better comparison but I can understand why the use of the heli is much lower in this game given that at any moment it can be unjustly stolen by a bad player.
The sniper's nest stays far away from you and it locks on to the people who are trying to take it out, while the attack helicopter gets in front of you before attacking, it also cant kill you if the front of the helicopter isnt facing you

Glad got made this video i always wondered why the attack chopper was more when i always get more kills with the snipers nest honestly i think it's the second best streak in the game slightly behind the gun ship and i mean slightly simply because the gun ship is really easy to hack and destroy and the snipers nest only gets destroyed if zero hacks it before it's actually on the field i use my snipers nest all the time after zero hacks my team as long as it makes it on the field first if she hacks it as soon as you call it then it will never make it to the map
