There's a wonderful recording with violins Pina Carmirelli...she is almost inaudible sometimes which has the effect of making one listen all the more...no forcing of the sound or over exaggerating the dynamic range...just floating sound...

Bravoooo! I think it was at the premiere of this piece that G.F played in Barcelona that the 12 year old Federico Mompou decided he too wanted to be a composer when he grew up...

You eventually get to the correct tempo in the first mvt...but it really does start out too fast... nonetheless good...a little too much vibrato in the violins...too competitive...just let the music tell its own story and unfold in it's own time... otherwise it sounds "oversold"...and that implies that one does not actually believe in it...
