Great vid as usual! I heard you mention the cube being on her last legs. I'll be interested to see what you go for next time as your chosen rides and centres are very similar to mine. I'm currently working on looking at the T8 & new Canzo Pro which seem incredible spec for the money. Still on my trusty Bizango ‘18 but does all of these centres, Peaks just fine, but wouldn't mind a bit more comfort.
Yeah the Cube is starting so creak n a few paces and needs a bit of an overhaul. I have been loking at new full suspension bikes for a while now and it it honestly a minefield. For a lot of the places I ride I am honestly overbiked on the cube stereo. it only really comes in to its own when I am riding bikeparks or steep off piste trails. With that in mind I was looking for a capeable trail bike, but I also want a bike that can take some of the bigger hits and jumps when I do go that little bit harder. decisions decisions.
Good to know. I havent ridden the long red trail there yet (aparently 3-4 hours long?). It seems like a long trail and I am wondering if it is worth the pedal?
@@bikeandbeyond Dalby is a local haunt, usually takes me a little under 3 hours for the red taking it steady, but quicker people do it in around 2.5 hours. Don't expect tonnes of downhill, with loads of jumps and no uphill(!) etc, but it's a nice XC route IMO with some nice sections. Each to their own but I think a lot of the moans could be solved by: 1. good fitness so you're not just slogging to get round and can't keep your speed up to enjoy it and 2. on a hardtail or at least not over-biked, it's pretty fun. You can cut a bit of length and miss some of the more pedally sections: turn right onto the forest drive when you get to Dixon's Hollow, go straight on at the obvious bend at the end of that straight (onto a fire road), then turn right at the next junction, and you pick up section 25 to the end. Enjoy the videos, thanks!
This place isn’t too far from me, I should give it a go.
Hi 👋🏼 happy Saturday 👊🏽 thx for the 📽️
Thanks, happy Saturday!
Awesome video, dude. This place isn’t far away from me at all. Just an FYI, it is actually pronounced as ‘Dolby’. Happy riding 🤙
Haha gutted, I am always pronouncing places wrong (especially when riding in Wales😅)
Very good effort, I'm blowing on an ebike doing that, especially riding blind!!!
@@bobthebimbler thanks man. I definitely didn’t make it up the second hill in one go!

One of the most boring trail centres I’ve ridden. Can’t stand the place.
