I know its been 20+ years since i last did this, but i do remember that if you step over the toe board its a scratch. The forms look good, just wish youd be consistent with staying behind the toe board
my daughter doesnt love gliding, but doesn't love spinning for shot either (she is a good at spinning discus). We want to try this week to go hard on spinning shot. But right away, when she tries to rotate with the shot, she recognizes that its not going as far as her standing throw. Is that normal? if so, how long does she need to stay with it before she will see her throws go farther than her strong standing throw. Appreciate your feedback! Love your videos!!
Is it too early to teach the spin to larger middle schoolers (6ft+)? Should I foucs on the glide and stand throw techniques for now? The students that made the podium at districts last year seem ready to me but what is your opinion aobut progression of techniques and age?
This has helped me so much, I used to be 20 feet from the school record and now 8 have the school record by 5 feet
