Mason LOVES “getting into” my chapstick when he sleeps over here. I have one beside my bed and he gets into it every single time he has three seconds alone in my bedroom!!! Recently I’ve started to pop it in my pocket when he is sleeping over.
We have changed how we do Christmas some over the last couple years... We do still do gifts for the kids and a little for each other, but I think it's great how you're doing it. Our kids are 14 and 10, and #3 will be here in March, but we've never done Santa either... I usually get weird looks and questions when people hear that... I'm curious what your reasons are if you're comfortable sharing. ?
I'd love to hear how you do Christmas! I just can't get on bored with lying to my kids. I don't think it takes away any "magic" by having my kids know that Santa is imaginary just like most other people that they watch on TV. As a child I remember being always confused and aggravated that I couldn't get a straight answer about if there was a man flying around delivering presents. I also can't subscribe to the idea that kids have to be "good" to get gifts from Santa because I don't believe that children can be "bad", they are children and they are constantly learning and working through things but that doesn't ever make them bad. The whole idea of it just gives me bad feelings and I'd rather my children never have the feeling that their worth is determined by gifts and the sort. Sorry if that was rambling haha. I'd love to hear your views on it and why you don't do Santa in your house.
Your tower looks so good!! Excited for you guys to get it!
I'm so excited! I love how Jamie and Mason both fit into yours!
Aww his best friend 😍😍😍
I was going to buy Mason that derby car hahaha glad I changed my mind but also glad my instincts were good

I was looking at the bugs for Jamie but of course I got him plastic ones that are realistic. That’s just how we differ every time eh haha
hahaha always though! I should probably add in some more realistic things to our play lol

I almost bought Jamie that bowling thing so I’ll have to see if he likes it next time we visit!!
I’m now buying Mia that toy you got for Rosie! Is it a fat brains toy? Sorry if you said so I just can’t hear over my kids! 😂
