Is that just the Plexi amp that is built in to the Tonex? I have a helix and have been messing with it for years, and your simple rig sounds 100% better! Great tones! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Alejandro, yes I have been playing without amps since 2020. Before I have played VoX, Marshall and Fender Amps. Since 2020 I am playing on NUX Cerberus straight in PA and that works fine. I have bought now TONEX and I like it too. I had only 3 gigs with it so far, but it worked out well. It is always good to have some 10" or 12" speakers either in PA or in Monitor system, that will help and sound even more as real amp. I am playing mostly clean or breakout sounds, kind like Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen etc. My whole band is playing without amps, so it is easy to do soundcheck where ever we play.
Hi Trent, well it is about not carrying heavy equipment and saving a space in car or plane. If I would have roadies, I would take some Fender Deluxe, Twin or Plexi, but on the other hand I used to do that before and like this, with Tonex for example, you will always have same sound and it is all saved in Digital Mixer so it is easy to do soundcheck wherever you play. These are the benefits.
Sounds like you had it dialed in pretty good.
Thanks Will, it is easy to tweak, if you know what are you looking for 🙂
If it sound good than it's good

Do another one with the rest of the band playing.
Hi Goran. Thank you for sharing the video. What tone models are you using in the video?
The most important opinion will be yours, how do you feel gigging with Tonex? Have you switched from real amps?

This is not good live at all, better off with a Katana IMHO
