The Most Unexplored Capital City in India

- Опубликовано: 6 окт 2024
- Let's go on a tour of India's most unexplored capital city, Kavaratti. It's the capital of the tropical paradise Lakshadweep. This stunning atoll/island is located 400km from mainland India. Very few people visit because it's challenging to get to and has little tourist infrastructure.
I covered Kavaratti from top to bottom including the administrator's residence, the only Hindu temple in all of Lakshadweep, jail, a massive shipwreck, botanical gardens, Govt. buildings, local restaurants, Indian Army outposts, desalination plant, mosque, and much more!
If you want to know how to visit Lakshadweep see • Andaman & Lakshadweep ... .

Coastal Kerala used to be like this before we polluted it. Hopefully we can bring back the glorious Malabar and Travancore coast to its prestine condition back again, and improve our quality of life in Kerala.
@Pillars of Creation 😂😂 Dude r u out of mind...there is only one Temple they can't enter...so yeah get your facts right before commenting bullshit
@Pillars of Creation this shows your knowledge of the place seriously you are dumb😂 speaking without even knowing
True. I miss the old Kerala.
@Pillars of Creation
It's only an age restriction and moreover the restriction came into effect after 1991 following a Kerala High Court order, women could've entered before that..!
@Pillars of Creation I am an athiest but I wont support the entry of women to Sabarimala. Don't disturb the peace of our place. The traditions are for their faith and they don't cause harm to others. We wont cut the throat of our culture and traditions.
I am from Lakshadweep and i am so proud to see this video.
@Devesh Tiwari i am not from Lakshadeep but it is true
dear brother the people from lakshadweep are fighting for our survival. For development y should govt introduce the ban of beef , and closing of schools and gunda act is also introduce where the people living in peace
@Devesh Tiwari the island are very much small no development could not possible in land we can introduce more water activities that's the people of lakshadweep wants becoz am from one of those island

@@KarlRock hi karl, please make a video on the scam going on in getting IT jobs in India and how people use fake experience to get good jobs
Your contribution to Indian tourism is invaluable..Thanks Karl !! Keep travelling !!
you're unconciously contributing greatly to our country's economy and I thank you for it.
You are smart , you have learned how to talk with different types of people in India, previously I saw lakshwadeep as blue water and cottages etc ,but you showed us what lakshwadeep is... thank you...
Lakshadweep sundar hai! What an amazing place. The children at 18:27 have such happy faces. The sequence around 12:34 brought out my inner chai-wallah. Chai, garam chai!
@Rohit Patel yes that's right! Hi and hope all good with you 👍
You have to be self-sufficient if you're pretty much isolated from the rest of the country

Was i the only one to feel the vedio as short though it is more than 20 minutes?
Thank you Karl 👍
Thank you 🙏
Yes your the only one.
Venkatramudu A yeah feels short but it kind of wasn’t. Karl is just getting really good at this, in my opinion.
I don't need religion to be kind and helpful to others.
4:28 , that's because the temples in North India and the temples in Kerala are hugely different. Kerala temples follow the text called Tantrasamuchayam. This temple in Lakshmadweep follows the Kerala model.
Yeah its temple for army and navy personal there
When are you gonna go back to Sikkim? Gangtok is such a beautiful, hidden gem, and North Sikkim is the closest thing you'll see to Shangri-La

It is so very beautiful, thank you Karl for showing us around this beautiful island it's absolutely breath taking. Hope you hade a wonderful time there and enjoyed yourself.
Karl Bhai this was brilliant. You should be the Tourism Ambassador for India man. Lakshyadweep has so many opportunities for it ahead of it can modernize Tourism infrastructure and open up chain hotels. This can provide the same natural experience of Maldives but with its own unique flair and hospitality.
Why would you want to ruin a place with chain hotels? Some places need to be left alone and not destroyed for tourism.
I love your Channel! I have been in Inia a cupped of Moth years ago. It brings back so much nice memory's. Now I (german Guy) live in Thailand, starting with some RUclips as well. Trying my best to be respectful to the Land and the PPL here. Namasdey, Ram Ram, Salam, Savadee Kap!

His pronunciation "Lakshadweep" is so good ...never heard any foreigner saying like that...and it comes so naturally without any effort..impressive.
That marriage dance was not from a real marriage, its like a folk dance in Kerala and Lakshadweep where kids dance Just like bharatanatya, mohiniyata etc
It's purely a paid show for tourists.
Thank you karl sir for showing us beautiful india!!😍😍😍
Good to see you brother for exploring my incredible india ❤️

Andman nikobar
Goa
Shimla,manali
Ladakh

Native people in Chhattisgarh are also very soft spoken but as soon as they come in contact with people from UP and Bihar, they learn bad habits. The first change that I see is about negative view about women and using "Mother sister" cuss words. Unfortunately, because of this increases interaction with UP and Bihar, the sex ratio of Chhattisgarh is decreasing. Especially in districts like Korea and Korba which are close to UP/Bihar.
Spot on!
Crime rate have multiplied exponentially bcz of that.
I've never seen a happier group of people than those of lakshadweep. I fell in love with the place despite being there for only a week

I was in Tamil Nadu with my friend. He's Brahman (Hindu) and I'm Sikh so he wanted to visit hindu temples and we went to one temple but I don't remember it was Rameshwaram Temple in Rameshwaram or Meenakshi Temple in Madurai.
When we entered in temple premises. . .I saw one board there which says that non hindus are not allowed inside and it's really scared me but as i don't wear turban so nobody can find out, I'm Sikh or Hindu then i just looked for a exist gate and went outside. that was really weird because if you visit any Gurudwara whether you're hindu, muslim, sikh, Christian or you belongs to any cast, any colour . . . you are allow to have langar with everyone and you're allow to visit inside the Gurudwara premises. it's nothing to do with impurity.
as a non hindu . . sometimes I also feel myself a foreigner and I can understand how you feel. I respect your views.
U should also try some Tamil Nadu foods. Plzzzz do..😧🥺🥺
Its a Temple and Mosque with kerala style architecture
*Why would you go to South India and then speak Hindi?* Don’t get me wrong, people in south can understand some Hindi but we’d appreciate it if you at least try to speak our local language. Even if it’s just small phrases.

Been here back when it wasn't a tourist destination. The fish Biriyani and tuna is awesome. The palm trees are used to make palm oil, palm sugar, jaggery or molasses and a dozen other things. Will never forget the view from the lighthouse...or even visiting a lighthouse for the first time ever. Had a huge collection of corals from there.

The music is always on point with the vids, Karl!
India must develop it just like Maldives. Same with andman islands
Actually,Andaman is much more developed than Lakshadweep.
Then what will happen to the residents? the reason behind the development of Maldeve's islands is corporates intervention. if corporates interfair here ,surely they will force the residents to leave.
@@avijit9149 developing tourism recuires residents. we are not talking about building a Dam or mine so that people will be displaced. If it gets developed like Maldives it will create jobs and when tourist arrive it will benefit the local population to earn.
Extremely informative video. Greetings from New York City.
Very well done Karl. It's almost twice as expensive to fly to Lakshadweep as compared to Andaman. But, tourism is going to increase and I'm especially afraid of the trash problems that's going to come with it. Hopefully there'll be proper planning to handle that situation. Btw, you got to use one hand to hang on to the bike man, you don't want a bump in the road to throw you off the bike. Good luck 😊👍
