A cool little fact about this episode--when Stolas summons himself by puppeteering the dead bodies of the DHORKS agents, said agents are drawing the _actual_ occult sigil that the mythological Stolas is associated with. Vivziepop really did her demonology research with this series--for example, Stolas is associated with astronomy and botany, so his characterization on the show has both a garden and star motif.
Agent 1 -“Why are we only using weapons from japan's edo period!.” Agent 2 -“hey! the edo period was badass and you know it.” Agent 1 -“damn it you’re right.” 🍜spoken like a true weeb 🍜
The way I interpret Blitzo's vision: vision-moxxie says that Blitzo can't conceive proper intimacy, which makes me think that Blitzo has a skewed perspective on relationships and is afraid that being emotionally intimate with someone is a threat to his freedom. At the same time, vision-moxxie points out that Blitzo still wants to be close to people. So Blitzo just keeps everyone at arm's length by acting like an asshole, then leaves them because he's scared that they'll leave him. I think the golden chains represent this fear that true intimacy will tie him down. But at the same time, Blitzo is the one making the choice to climb the stairs toward Stolas, he saw him on top of the stairs, yet he still goes toward him and only then the chains start to appear, and it's only on the last few steps that Stolas grabs the chain to pull him closer (which makes Blitzo blush, though he also has an embarrassing expression at the time). And as Blitzo climbs his outfit changes from the clown outfit that represents his past failures to the business suit he wears nowadays as a relatively successful business owner. So I think that on some level Blitzo does like Stolas, and he recognizes their relationship has been good for him. He's been pushing Stolas away and pretending that it's only a business exchange (as seen in episode 5 he fumbles when trying to explain what they are, before settling on "transactional fucking" he isn't embarrassed by the idea of having sex with Stolas and that other might know about it, he's embarrassed by the idea of being more than a sexual partner) because he was scared to admit that it could be more. Their relationship isn't ideal or healthy, and there likely will always be some problems due to the massive power imbalance between them, but I think it could get there and be pretty good by hell's standards? I'm not sure if Blitzo *loves* Stolas either, though I do think he *likes* him. Maybe he doesn't yet but he could love Stolas if he gave their relationship a real chance? I think one thing's for sure: the show is going to explore that more. Because Blitzo's relationships are a pretty central element of the show.
@@mrkrazedkillers6008 Not true. We don't see Millie either. Blitzo, despite his earlier outburst, has nothing bad to say or any negative feelings towards her... and likely feels respect for her... which is why we don't see her in his hallucination.
For me, what I gather from the hallucination scene/s are that Blitzo was hurt in the past. Not by Verosika but before her. We don't know all the details, but it's likely either a seriously bad relationship (where the other person greatly betrayed him), or even something like his parents abandoning him. Whatever the reason, it caused him to grow up extremely cynical when it comes to such topics, forcefully pushing everyone away to an arm's length because of his fear of letting people get close to him, and so he doesn't have to risk getting hurt again. He tries to be strong, putting on a hard-ass facade (which he can back up, when it comes down to it), but knows deep down that despite initially believing he can do things along, not only does he NEED Moxie and Millie's help, he WANTS it... because he doesn't want to be alone. He does tend to see Moxie as being a pretentious blabber-mouth at times though. That's also why despite his external reactions to Stolas, his hallucination shows that he's willing to get close to the prince, rather than dealing with his past failures. He both needs and wants the protection that a relationship would offer, but... as you stated... isn't able to deal with being chained down. He's willing, internally, to have it happen, but isn't ready to accept it just yet. On the opposite side, you have Moxie. His hallucination shows that he's fearful about being pushed away and being rejected by others. He has a lot of self-doubt, perpetuated by Blitzo's constant berating of him... shown by how vision-Blitzo keeps calling him "bitch boy", etc, but ONLY until Moxie stands up for himself and starts throwing words back. Moxie has a tendency to bottle up his feelings, in fear that he might say or do something that will cause those around him to push him away. Moxie KNOWS that Blitzo is hurting inside, and why he acts the way he does (holding others at arms length), and forces vision-Blitzo to hear exactly what needs to be said (telling him that if he continues to do that, Blitzo can only end up with him being alone). Despite acting in opposite ways to one-another, and having very different pasts, both Moxie and Blitzo share one main thing in common. The fear of being alone. It may have been separate mental experiences, but with both of them confronting this helps to bring them closer together, and to get the crap out of the way, and become more family-like... something which both of them needs more than anything. It's why the fight scene at the end becomes so fluid. All four of them are fighting as a family, more than just employer and employees. Just as a side note, it always makes me smile that, despite Blitzo's gruff exterior, at the end after the Red Button is pushed and they realise hope is lost, the only thing he decides to do is try to shield the rest of them by putting himself between them and the agents.
I'm pretty sure the chains to meant to ONLY represent the power imbalance, and his expression at the time seems more unhappy than embarrassed to me. Your interpretation is a LOT more positive than mine.
@@jonathangoodwin5609 That's fair, but with how the scene is superposed with Moxxie's speech about Blitzo desiring intimacy but not being able to fathom proper intimacy, and with how part of Blitzo's changes in demeanor in the rest of the episode is the fact that he flirts back with Stolas I'm feeling pretty confident in my interpretation. The chains could still be a representation of the power imbalance, but I think that partially folds into his fear of being "bound" to other people, it's not so much Stolas' power as a Prince that he's worried about, and more about the power that he's giving Stolas by letting him get closer to him on an emotional level.
so fun fact the symbol under agent 2 when Stolas is summoned is the real symbol of Stolas the demon prince in lore as in real life that's the symbol of Stolas the demon prince it is used for when you would summon Stolas that's how Stolas got in to the human world he possessed agent 2 and the dead agents to cast the spell that is supposed to enslave him to the summoner as kinda of a cheat code they can't enslave him if he just possessed there bodys to do the work and leave out the part of the spell that enslaves him kinda clever when you think about it
Blitzo probably has a lot of conflicting feelings about Stolas because their relationship comes with a lot of benefits like his access to the living realm for his business. On the other hand all the benefits come with feeling trapped by someone who has a lot of power over him. He probably feels like Stolas sees him like some kind of fancy pet that he’ll eventually get bored of.
Yea, i kinda got that vide too - he likes Stolas, but afraid those feelings are one-sided, same as with all others he knew, ones he was and is pushing away. Also he probably does feel trapped due to work. Also, Moxie's trip also shouldn't go unappreciated. The fact that at first he sees Blitz sitting way higher, and during musical and him exploring/explaining his feelings he ends up on same bench, shoulder to shoulder with blitz
I really don't get this reading of Stolas' character being a rapist, I am genuinely interested in understanding this point of view. Blitzo willingly slept with him the first time and stole his Grimoire, the source of his power, and instead of having him dead Stolas decided to make a deal with him so both of them could get what they wanted out of each other. Stolas allowed Blitzo to keep the grimoire and told him "What if we have an exchange? Keep the book for yourself, just bring it back once a month and have sex with me", which to me does not sound inappropriate as they already had consensual sex before, and what did Blitzo say? Yes. He said yes from the start and never once complained. He only complains about Stolas calling him "Blitzy" and flirting in public, which? Is understandable, but he never outwardly admitted to hating the deal or even Stolas. He even said in ep. 5 "When... this, happens, it's not something I really fuss about", which sounds like consent to me. Is Stolas very sexually forward? Yes. Does he speak inappropriately at the wrong time? 100%. Is he a cheater? Abso-fucking-lutely and Stella is right to be so angry (although I... don't agree with her wanting him dead-). Is Blitzo a fucker who willingly slept with a married man just to steal the source of his power while he was asleep? Yes. Yes he is. And I love him so much for it, I love how far Blitzo is willing to go for his company, I love how much of an asshole he is and how much he's doing to change that... and other fans love him too. Everybody is so willing to let anything Blitzo does slide, yet Stolas gets all of the hate despite being on Blitzo's same level when it comes to indecency. I don't mean to sound rude, this is a cartoon, who cares, I'm just so confused as to how Stolas is so often viewed as rapey when to me he looks inappropriate, too forward, tone deaf and a cheater at worst. We don't know how Blitzo acted the first time him and Stolas met, he could've been the most charming motherfucker in the universe, and in that case, Stolas crushing on him so hard would be understandable. It's not like the story needs that, but I so hope there will be a flashback in future episodes about their first meeting, so everyone's doubts about their relationship could be solved once and for all.
I will say I shouldn't have used the word rapist because is to strong of a word but I never like how forceful of a character Stolas is. I don't know what word I would use for that so I went with rapist and that more my bad. I get we don't really know what their first encounter was like but everything after that doesn't sit right with me. I don't like the thought of someone having power to get sex even if it was a deal. Especially seeing hes good looking and could get most with out making deals like this and that the biggest problem me. Stolas doesn't need to do it but he does. I would say he does it because he's cheating but it's not like he keeps it a secret. Like I feel with most people if Blitzo was a woman it would creep them out as much as it creeps me out. I just never liked their relationship. It's gross on both sides. I should bring up more that I don't like Blitzo for what he did ether but the show barley brings it up so I just don't talk about it. I should also bring up that its the pilot episode where this grossed out feeling really started and I've been told thats not cannon... Which is fucking stupid if its the case. Then all of hazbin hotel isn''t cannon to. But like you said it is just a cartoon and I really should care as much as I got myself to haha. I mean their demons in hell haha. I think it was the constant demanding to like they're toxic relationship that made me really start hating him. But none the less I hope this atleast explains why I feel this way.
@@livedeadman thank you for your insight, I definitely can see where you're coming from now. I guess the fact that Stolas is a demon makes it easier for me to see why he would want to make a deal over something XD also I'm a sucker for flawed characters with complex dynamics, and I guess that's also why stolitz resonates with so many people, but I'm very sorry people tried forcing you to like something you don't enjoy. Keep up the good work
@@livedeadman about the pilot "not being canon", as far as i am aware, this is not true. The Pilot is canon, but some things have changed along the way. They things that haven't changed though, are still 100% canon.
I think that deals involving sex isn't inherently a bad thing, that's what a lot of sex work is, just in exchange for money rather than other services. I get not being comfortable with stolas being so forceful...but he is for all intents and purposes a power bottom, he is forward on purpose to provoke blitzo which we kinda saw the culmination of in this episode with the threat of bear traps, all in all I think stolas and blitzo's relationship is complex but overall healthy for the two of them
I think Stela's angry because Stolas ruined her reputation and social life, possibly permanently. I'm hoping that sometime in season 2, we see a Stela-centric episode. Make her a more complex character for people to understand and justify why she's so damn angry. Again, she didn't ask for Blitz to land in the cake, and in front of 3 other royals, apologize for turning her husband into an "imp sucking face".
I like that in Moxie's Bad Trip, Blitzo and Moxxie are both climbing stairs, but Moxxie gets to a better place while Blitzo grows more conflicted about his relationship with the person at the top
Though I think they were deliberately trying to depict Stolas in an angelic way (golden stairway, light shining behind his throne, feathers, etc.) to symbolize how Blitzo truly feels about him. If I were to guess, I think what separates Stolas from Blitzo's other relationships (like Verosika Mayday) is that Stolas is not deterred by Blitzo's anti-social behavior and continues to love, accept, and pursue him anyway.
Agreed, Blitzo sees Stolas as someone out of his league (which, I mean, as hell nobility, hope kinda is but that's not the point) and feels as though Stolas will throw him away once he's bored. So Blitzo keeps him at arm's length so that if things go south, he can either push Stolas away first or not feel as much pain because he didn't let himself get as attached as he wanted to.
In blitzo’s hallucination about stolas he climbs an angelic staircase to reach him, so it seems like he sees stolas as some divine being, but he’s blocked from continuing until he crawls on his hands and knees and Then the falling feathers turn into golden cuffs, a collar, and chains. It looks like it’s implying that he also feels trapped. It’s a gilded cage, but still a cage. That kinda goes along with what dream-moxie was saying about craving intimacy, but not being able to accept it either. That’s my take at least.
So, Loona could happily see in the dark. That's not a problem. The problem is that the book is written in blood. Blood is red, and the light is red. She couldn't see the words because the light would cause the entire page to look red, and not show up any words. As for Stolas' "entrance"... without his book, his physical body cannot enter the living world without being summoned. However, a demon's spirit form can possess a human host, and he can use his powers to manipulate the dead. By possessing Agent 2, he got all the dead agents to draw his seal (which, side note, is the actual crest used in the scrolls of King Solomon to symbolise the demon Stolas), and thus allow his physical body to enter the living world. The whole giant shadow bird form was more for show, and as a way to try to ward off the agents, rather than kill them. Stolas, according to demonology lore, is one of the friendlier and more pacifistic demons. He's a teacher of herbology, among other subjects... so it makes sense that he wouldn't just outright kill the agents.
You didn't understand the symbology in Blitzo's hallucination: his goal is to go higher in life, even at the cost of his relationship with others, he'll screw his friends and love ones to climb higher (the ladder is obviously a metaphor) choosing power over love and personal relationships. Stolas is at the top of the ladder, meaning he can't go higher than being Stolas' pet (metaphor: golden chains).Which pretty much makes him what he tried so hard not to become: a joke of a clown. Also, Stolas is the only one who actually loves and cares (in his own way) for Blitzo. With him gone, Blitzo not only loses his power, he'll end up alone and unloved.
I don't think that's the case. And I don't even have to look at ep7 for that, it's clear in the pilot, ep1, and ep3 that Blitzo has difficulties with relationships. He tries to insert himself in Millie and Moxxie's and ruined his relationship with Verosika despite them seemingly having few problems before. He does indeed want to get higher in life but his relationships don't seem to have anything to do with that. Verosika didn't seem to have knowledge about Blitzo being a clown/circus member so it's unlikely he tried to use her to gain stardom or fame, and Stolas and Blitzo could never have a public relationship so he's not going to get power through him either. The golden chains may make it seem like Blitzo is being Stolas' pet but if you add the context of Blitzo climbing toward him by his own volition, it comes off more as Blitzo feeling chained down by pursuing Stolas in whatever way regardless of what his and Stolas' relationship actually is.
Here's how I see the entire hallucination segment. Moxxie is being forced to have his weaknesses brought to light, truth gas induced trip, makes sense. Your truths are being forced out in your mind, bringing things you'd rather keep repressed to the forefront. For Moxxie he's confronting these weaknesses, acknowledging them, and deciding to better himself while also realizing some things about Blitzo and deciding to be a better friend to him. Very healthy and productive in the end. Blitzo on the other hand, not so much. Just like Moxxie this gas is forcing him to confront his problems, but Blitzo being much less mentally healthy than Moxxie, he keeps trying to run away from them. He can't though, this gas won't let him lie even to himself, and the truth just keeps bombarding him. His thoughts in the form of Moxxie, and his past relationships (Striker being a new one and Verosika or Robo Fizz being the older ones, I don't know if he dated Verosika first or he worked with Fizz first), just assault him with things about himself that he doesn't want to acknowledge. Blitzo is convinced that everyone will leave him. He's convinced that eventually he'll end up alone no matter what and he'll die alone which is his biggest fear. He's afraid to be alone, but he's also afraid of people abandoning him. So to protect himself, he keeps people at a distance. If someone gets too close, like Verosika, he does something to ruin their relationship and push them away before he cares they're going. He keeps the power. However, now thanks to IMP he's entered into a new relationship, one with Stolas. Now though, he can't just throw Stolas aside. First of all, it's STOLAS, making him hate you like Verosika hates him would basically be suicide. Second, Stolas letting them use his book is the only way IMP exists. No book, no company. So he literally cannot push Stolas away in any sense of the word. He feels trapped by this situation. He DOES like Stolas, and he can't maintain control and push Stolas away before things get too serious. The shackles are him being trapped in this situation, but at the same time because of Stolas he's "cleaned" of his past and allowed to pursue his happier future. Going towards Stolas not only cleanses Blitzo, it also gives him his IMP outfit. Blitzo is terrified as he has been for who knows how long, that everyone he loves will leave him eventually. Now he's even more terrified by the fact he loves these people so much, when they leave it'll destroy him. Everything around him fades away and begins to crush and suffocate him, he cannot survive the pain of THESE people abandoning him. Blitzo has survived up to now by using a method that no longer works. After his vision he seems to make a decision to take hold of the people he loves, and to not let them go in the first place, to break this chain of being abandoned. Moxxie extends him an olive branch, and instead of jabbing Moxxie, he reassures him of how much he values him not just as an employee, but as a friend. During the fight he is also more attentive to everyone else, making sure they're taken care of before he really indulges in his own desires to fuck fuckers up as he put it. He is still himself, but he's finally stopped trying to keep at least these people at arm's length. As for why Moxxie appeared in a dress when HE got closer to Stolas.... honestly, we know from episode 2 that Blitzo is sexually attracted to both Moxxie and Millie, and Stolas's stairway represents the ideal state of Blitzo, so...... yeah, that's probably related to a relationship Blitzo would like to have with Moxxie and Millie. Loona, by the way, is an exception in his life. She's the one person he shows open affection to as she's his daughter and while this is conjecture, I think in his mind she can't abandon him, it would be HIM that would have to abandon her since he's the father. And he'd have made a decision to NEVER abandon her. This part is based on the fact we've not seen any of Blitzo's family and not even HEARD about his parents. The ONE time we heard about his father, was in the pilot. And he said his father crushed his dreams so..... Yeah, I am guessing this fear is stemming from abandonment issues made by his father, and maybe his mother died too or just left as well. I don't know yet, I'm very excited for the next episode.
It kills me how a first impression played as a joke made up this man's view of stolas to the point he overlooks the 'hey this isn't a one sided character' tossed throughout the series That and sex jokes where they're irrelevant to the situation
Stolas casually looking directly into the camera unamused. Also the comedy was top notch you just get stuck on the bad ones... example of a great joke: the password scene.
I agree. Watching it back there was a hand full of good jokes but I still think it was weakest of all the other topics. I don't mean that as a insult ether. This was an amazing episode.
Why do people never understand... its not that Loona can't see in the dark... its the fact she can't see in Red. Dogs are colorblind in the red spectrum.
Blitzo feels getting romantically intimate with someone would challenge his freedom. Or he does want to get close, but feels that stolas doesn't reciprocate such feelings. Only when stolas literally possessed people to summon him into a physical being to save the group did blitzo realize stolas genuinely cares beyond sexual desires.
As you mentioned, Blitz is bound to Stolas in a couple of ways, and the manifestation of the bindings are probably a direct reference to this. While the romantic relationship is the obvious one, and the most directly visualized in the scene, he's also bound to Stolas on a professional level, as without the book, IMP ceases to exist. When we look at the other manifestations in the hallucinations, there's a common theme of a fear of intimacy, and self doubt. At some level, he craves being close to someone, but this only causes him to fear losing that connection all the more. As a result, he sabotages almost every relationship he enters into, pushing them away before they can hurt him even more, in a twisted sense of self defense. It should be noted that neither Loona or Millie appear in his hallucination. For Millie, it probably just means that he doesn't feel that their relationship is one that he fears losing, but with Loona, it may well be that their relationship is seen as one of the few positive ones he has. They may fight and argue, but we've seen a couple of times that they do seem to care about each other. Back to the bindings, Blitz wants to be close to Stolas, but because the two of them are bound together through the need of the grimoire...and Stolas did make the use of the tome contingent on sexual favors from Blitz, he fears that it's just another trap he's walking into. This is also why at the end of it, he's bound by feathers, with the voices all saying that he'll die alone. As for Stolas' appearance at the end...he's a Great Demon Prince; one who has been manipulating humans for millennia. In terms of power, look it this way. By and large, the various legends and stories about demons tend to imply that the more powerful a demon is, the more difficult it is for them to enter into the mortal realm. Generally they must be summoned, which can be an involved process. Stolas, while still beyond the veil, and not physically within the living world, managed to possess one agent, reanimate the corpses of several, which he then used to draw his sigil...the sigil that he needs to manifest fully. That is an utterly ridiculous level of power...yet he didn't harm anyone. He cowed the two agents (and obviously repaired the damage to the possessed one) just through intimidation. Don't mess with the owl. Note: I have no clue how accurate this is, as it's gust my WAG. I'm a scientist, not a psychologist...or demonologist.
Nah, i wouldn't say they love each other, more like they like each other, have feelings, but because of how they set up their relationship, it's toxic. And it's perfectly fine to be uncomfortable with how toxic their relationship is. Blitzo is fine with sleeping with Stolas, but he doesn't like the talking down, the baby talk, the condescending tone that Stolas will have, because it's demeaning. However, there is something underneath all that toxicity that is genuine.
So... We had Phantom of the Opera from Moxie and Pink Floyd's The Wall from Blitzo, and just those choices are such good storytelling. But! I has a question. Did Stolis spare Mulder and Scully out of arrogance, or because he used Scully and a bunch of corpses to use a spell of summoning to bring him into the world since he didn't have the Book? The thing about being summoned is that the summoning spell also binds the demon from harming the humans who summoned him. Sure, he could (probably) tell Blitzo to kill the Idiot Twins, but would he admit that he couldn't kill them himself to his Top?
Couple I've seen are: Demon Hunter Organization Rocking Killer Swords Demon Hunter Organization ... Hmm, I forgot, but it was even better than Rocking Killer Swords.
Hey don’t forget about the banishes angels from C.H.E.R.U.B they want revenge on the members of I.M.P. They have enemies coming at them from all sides.
Stolas when he possessed the agent, he possessed the other dead bodies and drew a symbol, stolas’s Symbol, under her, which is how humans most of the time could summon the 72 Solomon demons. some theorized that stolas didn’t kill them not because he let them live but because he most likely couldn’t kill them. The only time he came into the world was when the symbol was drawn and was vomited out, without the book he likely couldn’t get to the imps via portals so he had to do it the old fashion way, and that was to use the circle what humans usually used to summon, enslave to tell them their secrets, hell in some cases the demons are prevented from harming anyone in the room, so my theory was that stolas was forced to simply terrify them into submission. By the way, no illusion, that’s his demon form, every demon be they hell born or earth born has a demon form, a full battle enhanced type. For example Alastor’s looks like a Wendigo
nah~ trust me, them watching My Little Pony, like G4 MLP, would not work on them. did you see the villains on that show? that's worth sitting through. now G3 on the other hand. THAT is worse than Hell.
@@EliteTacoNinja this is true. but i feel the absolute mind numbing experience of just one episode of G3 Ponies would drive even Satan himself into a grave, looking into the overly large eyes would drive even the most sinister demon insane and any imp would want a quick death.
My Little Pony may not be the best way for torture since Blitz love horses. He had a small horse figure in episode 1, he maxed out Verosika's credit card on horse riding lessons, he blew all of the money Loopty paid for another horse figure in episode 4, he gawks at Striker's horse in episode 5 and he's jumping into a horse pen in this episode on the"First Sighting" monitor.
the joke i lost it at was after a bunch of fuckin with em moxie says that they hevent even convirmed what they are, "well what are you", "i'm a virgo", just so sassy and dumb, loved it
It wasn't just a condom, he also had stuff stuck to his horns, such as a moldy banana peel, part of a sucker, what looks like a receipt, and some sort of a paper
10:03: Fart jokes will always be funny, Ryan. XD 10:18: Hey, I'd actually like to see that. 😁 28:05: Ok. Now THAT was really clever. Also, an Owl House joke!? YES!
I think the chains represent blitzo's fear of intimacy, he likes stolas and the people in his company but he constantly pushes everyone away because he is both afraid of getting stuck to them and also he is afraid of being abandoned. relationships, to him, are like chains, even if he wants to be in a relationship. Stolas x Blitzo's relationship is fucked because they are both individually fucked, but it's not like they don't like each other. but like everything else in this show, it's fucked up, but they sell this idea that perhaps they can be better with small steps like with Blitzo and moxie in this episode. the appeal of the show is not only the amazing comedy but also the slow development of these very flawed but charming characters. At least that's how I see it.
17:48 its implies want to estabilish a connection with him and he likes it but at the same time he feels like he’s being only used by stolas for s*x, which makes him feel like a slave somehow in this relationship (here’s the chains), and thayt’s why he keeps pushing Stolas away and keeps their relationship merely physical, he’s a fraid of getting hurt because he feels like nobody could ever love him trutly. And the saddest part about this is that stolas is actually in love with Blitzø,but Blitzø won’t see that for his trauma and in this was he ends up hurting Stolas too, letting him feel dismissed in his feelings and unloved as he feels.
and let's not forget that the show is EXTREMELY hinting at if not Stolas death at least his fall we have been told multiple times that daemons ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SEEN BY HUMANS and that Satan himself will be mad if it happens and if Stolas was to die not only will we get to see what happens when Hell royalty dies like will Octavia take over or will she have to compete with other demons for her father's throne how will Blitz feel about it will Blitz go through a character arc getting over the death of Stolas not to even speak about how hard that episode will trend in like 5 minutes and of course it will have to be a season finale and if/when it happends we will have the *Stolas is dead party* i did not plan that party as hard as i did for them NOT to kill Stolas
Loved this episode! The fight scene also reminded me of RWBY, and the background music during the fight sounded very season 9-10 Red vs Blue. Was expecting the normal funny, "Hah! Sex joke!" episode. But got a pretty well written one with some good plot stuff!
honestly I do kinda like stolas after this but i’m sorry it’s inevitable that’s he’s probably going to die pretty soon his song had way too much foreshadowing plus i feel like stolas and blitzos relationship was toxic like the chains was signifying that stolas is just using him for his body or like you said trapped.
In fact, it is the perception that Blitzo have of his relationship with Stolas ; Blitzo like (or love ? Not really clear, at this state) him but is afraid that he see him like a toy or something like that.
Well, I think the chains were because Blitzo was afraid to love Stolas due to his past experiences, not necessarily toxicity. He didn't *need* to be in that relationship with Stolas, really.
@@thejurassicjungle1275 that could also be true, we didn’t see that much of their relationship since this particular episode and tbh like on the surface blitzo doesn’t show it but he really cares for imp and stolas but maybe he feels stolas is just using him or like you said afraid to love I just hope we get to see more of them in future episodes and little hints here and there, because his song had way too much foreshadowing that stolas may possibly die or leave him and I’m also wondering how that would affect blitzo yk and when moxxie said he’ll end up alone for his thoughtless and cruel actions.
Well I mean, Blitzo used him first... literally, slept with him so he could get something no one else gets privilege to, and Blitzo has NEVER shown Stolas that he is uncomfortable with the intercourse in general, he just doesn't like it talked about 24/7. I don't get why people are so convinced Blitzo is the victim when he's so willingly s*xually active.
The chains that Blitz was wearing is that Stolas is Using him for sex just for the book because without the book he can't do his business so the chains are a hint for whats going on in blitz life
Hahaha I don't know bud. Probably being Irish and Swedish made it so I have blonde hair but a red beard. Plus all my other hair is brown. Im a freak haha
There is a comic where Moxxie & Loona spend some time together out on an assignment. They were talking & getting to know each other better. She asked if it was true they, Moxxie & Millie had not had sex even being married so long? He answered, "yes, that was true, but the reason everybody (Blitzo) says is untrue. that I just don't want to hurt or embarrass Millie, I love her so much. but I can't or rather, she cannot do it, she is too small to accept what I have, down there... I am far too big & would hurt her. She is just so tiny. That doesn't mean we don't want to. There are plenty of other things to do in life..." then he looked over at Loona who was thinking... then show do you expect me to believe that? Without proof? Now, this is paraphrased, I don't remember verbatim, So, I guess He took a chance & showed her, Now Loona knows Moxxie is an honest true blue Imp.
Ryan No! Making the imps watch MLP would most likely not work. Moxxie likes musicals so he'd probably would enjoy it for the musical numbers and Blitzo is obsessed with horses. They may enjoy it too much and then you have a whole new problem to deal with!
If it was written in such a way, why would you hate Stolas? Is it because he's one of the best characters on the episode? Or is it because you just feel like him being good is bad for all your milking the "Stolas is rapey" train?
A cool little fact about this episode--when Stolas summons himself by puppeteering the dead bodies of the DHORKS agents, said agents are drawing the _actual_ occult sigil that the mythological Stolas is associated with.
Vivziepop really did her demonology research with this series--for example, Stolas is associated with astronomy and botany, so his characterization on the show has both a garden and star motif.
Agent 1 -“Why are we only using weapons from japan's edo period!.”
Agent 2 -“hey! the edo period was badass and you know it.”

Any TRUE weeb knows the Sengoku period was better and more badass though! X-D

The only character we never saw in his trip was loona because he truly does love her as a daughter
I have never been more happier then now seeing this reaction
Facts
so fun fact the symbol under agent 2 when Stolas is summoned is the real symbol of Stolas the demon prince in lore
as in real life that's the symbol of Stolas the demon prince it is used for when you would summon Stolas that's how Stolas got in to the human world he possessed agent 2 and the dead agents to cast the spell that is supposed to enslave him to the summoner as kinda of a cheat code
they can't enslave him if he just possessed there bodys to do the work and leave out the part of the spell that enslaves him
kinda clever when you think about it
As someone who sounds like a girl version of Bill Burr, I felt slightly called out on this episode hahaha
😂😂 well, that sounds like a perfect girl imo
25:15-22:27 well from what i can find dogs can't see the color red so if Loona is in a red light filled room she may be completly blind
Also, the book is written in red ink. Red ink + red light = shite reading even uf you can see red properly.
They aren’t wrong, in the lore behind Stolas’s origins he’s a fallen Angel
Also I died laughing at your physical cringe to imp and birb boy making out
7:20 My Little Pony would probably be ineffective on Blitzo. Remember, he really likes horses 😌
You're right. Besides, it's been established since episode 1 that he collects MLP merch.
Hit him with Steven Universe.
@@47ratsinahoodie Well, don't forget this comment was way before episode 7 got out, so yeah...
@@anaemiliaalmeida7238 Yeah but like I mentioned, ep7 isn't necessary for the conclusion I came to
Here's how I see the entire hallucination segment.
It kills me how a first impression played as a joke made up this man's view of stolas to the point he overlooks the 'hey this isn't a one sided character' tossed throughout the series
That and sex jokes where they're irrelevant to the situation
Fucking this
those drugs seem to be a mix of fear toxin and whatever drugs pyro from TF2 is on
Fire-activated vision-altering goggles
Stolas casually looking directly into the camera unamused.
Also the comedy was top notch you just get stuck on the bad ones... example of a great joke: the password scene.
I agree. Watching it back there was a hand full of good jokes but I still think it was weakest of all the other topics. I don't mean that as a insult ether. This was an amazing episode.
@@livedeadman that is more agreeable
Why do people never understand... its not that Loona can't see in the dark... its the fact she can't see in Red. Dogs are colorblind in the red spectrum.
Dogs can't see in the dark.
If Blitzo's trip didn't make sense I recommend watching Pink Floyd; The Wall. Both have very similar development.
Hey I just realized what D.H.O.R.K.S stands for. It’s “Demon Hunters Or Really Kooky Skeptics”.
😲 I've been scratching my head on that one. I could only get Demon Hunters from it, but just couldn't put the rest together.
Couple I've seen are:
Demon Hunter Organization Rocking Killer Swords
Demon Hunter Organization ... Hmm, I forgot, but it was even better than Rocking Killer Swords.
holy hell that fight scene... it wouldn't be out of place in a stylish action game like devil may cry
lol actually with Blitzo's obsession with horses, he'd *love* MLP.
In the trailer for season 2 it shows at one part he's got a Twilight Sparkle keychain
The golden chains represent a guilded prison its a nice luxury prison where he gets what he needs but it's still a prison
I told you Stolas was Badass in this
Hey don’t forget about the banishes angels from C.H.E.R.U.B they want revenge on the members of I.M.P.
To be fair, Blitz is obsessed with horses and ponies and he'd probably honestly enjoy anything with them in it.
@@EliteTacoNinja this is true. but i feel the absolute mind numbing experience of just one episode of G3 Ponies would drive even Satan himself into a grave, looking into the overly large eyes would drive even the most sinister demon insane and any imp would want a quick death.
28:34 I like the small detail that camera 1 here is the selfie Blitz took earlier.

That maniacal laugh was so good- Congrats Ryan!
You say that they could effectively torture them with My Little Pony but I don't know, Blitzo does love is horses XD
the joke i lost it at was after a bunch of fuckin with em moxie says that they hevent even convirmed what they are, "well what are you", "i'm a virgo", just so sassy and dumb, loved it
28:10 the scream 😭
It wasn't just a condom, he also had stuff stuck to his horns, such as a moldy banana peel, part of a sucker, what looks like a receipt, and some sort of a paper
25:53 Oooooh Yes. Btw, didnt say Stolus in the Pilot Version he had Conects in the Real World so.....?
10:03: Fart jokes will always be funny, Ryan. XD
10:18: Hey, I'd actually like to see that. 😁
28:05: Ok. Now THAT was really clever. Also, an Owl House joke!? YES!
The virgin Stolas stan vs the Chad fart joke connoisseur.
I sMeLL, *sniffs intensely* CoLoUrs.
-Moxie
(My favorite line of the entire series)
THANK YOU, FINALLY IT'S HERE
Really nailed the hobo look!
I just realized something when you commented about Stolas as an angel. Technically he is a fallen Angel. So yes at one time he was.
That's not even close to being true, dude! XD
This dude only talking about hating stolice is making me leave. It's just all the God damn time
I love how Ryan hates more and more Stolas for each episode he appears it's so good LMAO
Helluva boss episode 7 is out, just dropped a few minutes ago.
7:18 I love how your still talking about my little pony after all this time
I had to waiting a week to see your reaction to Blitzø and Stolas 🤗
and let's not forget that the show is EXTREMELY hinting at if not Stolas death at least his fall
we have been told multiple times that daemons ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SEEN BY HUMANS and that Satan himself will be mad if it happens and if Stolas was to die not only will we get to see what happens when Hell royalty dies like will Octavia take over or will she have to compete with other demons for her father's throne how will Blitz feel about it will Blitz go through a character arc getting over the death of Stolas
not to even speak about how hard that episode will trend in like 5 minutes and of course it will have to be a season finale
and if/when it happends we will have the *Stolas is dead party* i did not plan that party as hard as i did for them NOT to kill Stolas
For you thinking mlp is torture not for Blitzo he loves horses 😂 he would be enjoying it
Loved this episode! The fight scene also reminded me of RWBY, and the background music during the fight sounded very season 9-10 Red vs Blue. Was expecting the normal funny, "Hah! Sex joke!" episode. But got a pretty well written one with some good plot stuff!
14:44: Right!? I thought his voice sounded similar to Alastor's as well!
Helluva boss being a better RWBY than modern RWBY.
You option MLP. When Blitz loves horses-
Im a bit sad that all the way till season 2 episode 7, nothing came from this, no consequence of those recordings yet.
Moxie became a Disney Prince
Aaand there goes the animation budget
honestly I do kinda like stolas after this but i’m sorry it’s inevitable that’s he’s probably going to die pretty soon
his song had way too much foreshadowing
plus i feel like stolas and blitzos relationship was toxic like the chains was signifying that stolas is just using him for his body or like you said trapped.
@@thejurassicjungle1275 that could also be true, we didn’t see that much of their relationship since this particular episode and tbh
like on the surface blitzo doesn’t show it but he really cares for imp and stolas but maybe he feels stolas is just using him or like you said afraid to love
I just hope we get to see more of them in future episodes and little hints here and there, because his song had way too much foreshadowing that stolas may possibly die or leave him and I’m also wondering how that would affect blitzo yk and when moxxie said he’ll end up alone for his thoughtless and cruel actions.
The chains that Blitz was wearing is that Stolas is Using him for sex just for the book because without the book he can't do his business so the chains are a hint for whats going on in blitz life
Blitzo would love My Little Pony because he love horses
22:05 why do I hear Casey Edwards "devil trigger"?
You'll get that bird next time Ryan
hell yeah been waitin for this m8!
Ryan whenever you upload i smile so big god your so fucking funny!
Wierd question: Why doesn't the hair on your head match the hair in your beard?
Hahaha I don't know bud. Probably being Irish and Swedish made it so I have blonde hair but a red beard. Plus all my other hair is brown. Im a freak haha
3:04 oh no
idk Blitzo might like MLP due to liking horses
I actually tried clicking on the unsubscribe after you said it was a link and I was disappointed 😂
Now, this is paraphrased, I don't remember verbatim,
So, I guess He took a chance & showed her,
Now Loona knows Moxxie is an honest true blue Imp.
i think Blitz wold like ponies he kinda show it multipel times
blitzo would love my little pony....
Ryan No! Making the imps watch MLP would most likely not work. Moxxie likes musicals so he'd probably would enjoy it for the musical numbers and Blitzo is obsessed with horses.
They may enjoy it too much and then you have a whole new problem to deal with!
Fuck yes
Well, no. Blitzø would love to watch "My little poney"
Bird homophobia
YES YES YES YES FINALLY
25:19 Dogs can't see red
16:13: RIGHT!?
look it’s jeSUS
11:51 Song?
Yes!
No, MLP is NOT the ultimate show to use to torture someone with... that has and always will be that wretched purple dinosaur that shall go unnamed.
If it was written in such a way, why would you hate Stolas? Is it because he's one of the best characters on the episode?
Or is it because you just feel like him being good is bad for all your milking the "Stolas is rapey" train?
yah every episode new grapgics
@ryan hobo Ryan the new episode of helluva boss is out! Please react to it!!
epic
Canines can't see red
26:29 what 😟

Nope, you skip around too much. Later.
