    This boot for a broken toe offers support and protection that you need after you break your toe or a bone in your foot. This can be very painful, and may decrease your mobility. The BraceAbility broken toe boot can help to decrease your pain and provide support to your foot. It is 11 inches tall and is constructed out of a strong polymer plastic, providing the fracture boot with protection and support.
    For maximum comfort, the boot for fractured toe and other injuries is lined with a deluxe foam material that is soft and comfortable against your skin. It has two straps over the foot and one over the ankle. These Velcro closures make this broken toe boot easy to apply and adjust for a customized fit and desired compression. This fracture toe boot is surprisingly lightweight and has a low profile when compared to other broken toe boots. The low profile helps to improve mobility when wearing.
    It also features an arching rocker design, which makes it easier to walk with a toe injury. The arched bottom allows you to move around in a more natural way. This broken toe boot leaves your toe area open, which increases the breathability of the boot and prevents any rubbing of your toes against the end of the boot. It also has a wide footbed that allows for bandaging and swelling.
    Once your swelling has gone down, you can adjust the straps and tighten for a better fit. This orthopedic boot for broken toe can also be used as a post-op boot, such as after a bunion surgery. This walking boot for broken toes is available in many sizes and can fit kids, women or men. Sizes are measured by U.S. shoe size.

    Thank you for this. It made me realize that my boot is wrong! 😡 My boot is just plastic and velcro, and a thiiiin fabric cover. I noticed something strange with it but since im not a doctor,I used it anyways yesterday. No problems. But now I cannot event stand without feeling scared. The boot was hitting my ankle all the time and I couldn't get a correct fit no matter what. I even started crying because I was so frustrated. Why didnt the doctor or the people who sold this boot to my mother explained us about how to use it? 😭 I cant believe that a RUclips video is better than the doctor.

    Suggestion: As designed, the second strap up from the bottom crosses over the ankle area at a 45 degree angle. This often causes the bottom edge of the strap to dig into the top of the foot. To alleviate this problem, use the bottom two straps in a crisscrossing pattern forming an X over the top of the foot.

    Is this boot good for plantar fasciitis heel pain? Is there a maximum weight limit?

    • @Braceability
      @Braceability  5 лет назад

      Hi Michelle, this will provide some relief to plantar fasciitis but to truly make plantar fasciitis feel better you need to be stretching the plantar fascia past 90°. We actually have quite a few products made specifically for plantar fasciitis! You can check them out here --> www.braceability.com/collections/plantar-fasciitis-treatment The one that I would recommend the most is this --> www.braceability.com/products/plantar-fasciitis-night-splint Though it's not the most comfortable to fall asleep in you will notice symptoms going away much faster!

    I have a stress fracture in my left foot and was told to wear a boot. Is it normal for the Velcro to be noisy when you walk? Or am I not wearing the boot correctly? It seems to be just the top strap making the noise.

    • @Braceability
      @Braceability  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Marissa, we have noticed the Velcro sound. It is totally normal and the sound doesn't mean you wearing it wrong!
      We are working on a way to try and reduce the sound, it is caused by the slight movement of the ankle and knee when walking.
      Thank you for the question!

    • @stellaplayz4668
      @stellaplayz4668 3 года назад

      Ikr the Velcro straps are noisy, but you can try putting the top Velcro liner the other way so the Velcro is on your skin, then place a foam pad to be comfortable, it helped a lot for me, but it was just uneven at the top.

    I just got one for a broken toe. So how tight should it be? When I walk, I still feel my left, big toe which is broken. But the rest is kinda tight. I just want this break to heal right, not cut off any circulation. It feels comfy, just tight. And why do I still feel a little soreness of the broken toe with each step? I must say at least I can take that step, can't do it without the boot, was very painful to walk on the left foot where the broken big toe is, just made swelling worse. I broke it two days ago. Didn’t know it was broken, just thought it got a big hit. But when it got worse, I went to see the doctor and got xrays and this boot.
