I would like to know two things. 1)once the fm3 tones are dialed in, what is the best way to run into the board? I go left and right to two channel strips, but now I have to dial in the eqs on the channels ..it's never as good sounding as when going straight into my personal monitors, even though the tops for the p.a. is the same speakers as my personal monitors ..they are good speakers at 1800. Canadian each. 2) if I run stereo, the right and left channel strips have an option of being mono or stereo...do I keep each strip in mono?
I would like to see a replication of a certain Bands sound: like Early Beatles, or Early Cream perhaps. Maybe the Guitar Tones from the Layla Album from Derek and Dominoes. Maybe a Rory Gallagher rig setup.
Hey Leon, it would be grat to have a patch on only ManualMode, ...like a clean, dirty amp to switch inbetween...maybe even more amps..all switchable....same with efx´s...boost for solos, the Idea is how would i t look like to have a board with all u need for a evening gig....all on off...ell even in volume....is that possible ?, or what would be in your opinion the perfect as this Patch Idea, Thanks
Really interesting for avoid using different banks!! Can you cover in the future options configuring Flanger, Delay and reverb like top artists.? I'm struggling with so many options in my FM9 to have the RATM Killing in the name off flanger entrance for example. Other options are delays from the Edge, Chorus from Prince... So many asks 😂😂 thanks Leon and G66 team
Excellent walkthrough which shows the power of the scene controllers. In this case it just about fits 3 scenes with the low/middle/high parameters. How would you approach the same problem if you had 4 scenes or more?
Hi, Leon. I understand the power of the scenes, but this is unjustified complicated. Take the Helix for example, move any number of parameters (any number!) make a snapshot and save it to scene one, then move one, two or all again and save it to scene two and so on. Yes, you don’t have the ability to assign different curves or other things, but for what you usually need: more gain, a little more delay or reverb, there is no need for this complication. It’s cumbersome to have parameters in percentages when you need units and you have to convert them. Fractal could use both methods and take the best of both worlds. Anyway, as always, thanks so much for your lesson, I have learnt so much watching your channel and I’m so happy with my Fm9 Turbo, but on this area, I really think that there is a lot of room for improvement. Cheers!!!!
I have felt this way exactly, ever since switching to Fractal. I love the tones, but Scene Controllers is such an unintuitive approach to "snapshots", or per preset parameter control. Helix absolutely nails this implementation and it's almost enjoyable to tweak snapshots. See knob, turn knob, save. Press knob and turn to include or exclude from snapshots. I understand that channels are one way to achieve snapshot-like behavior in AxeFx, but I just can't understand why it's so difficult to save individual parameter settings in a flagship product when the template was already created by a competitor several years ago. Even QC jumped on board.
@@mikedrennan5827 yes and yes! I think we all should ask for this. Fractal is the best in terms of flexibility and quality of sound but the interface and ease of use is almost the worst. There is no excuse for this overly complex operation for something as simple as saving the position of a few knobs. Scenes are so limiting as well, because there are only a few of them and it’s so awkward to program them.
This is the most unintuitive part of Fractal systems. It would be great if we could get similar functionality, i.e. the ability to have seamless changes and reduced CPU without the mental gymnastics. Also, I'd prefer to do it without scene changes.
What would you like to see and hear on future Tuesday Tone Tip videos?

Nicely done and it works well.
Thx Leon and G66, you guys rock!
LT, you are a legend!! Thx as always. I love my FM3 but find it not very intuitive. Great tutorial.
Is there somewhere a description of this modiefier page available? For example why do you use the Mid knop? Where is the connection?

To the tune of "Spanish Castle Magic"?

@@momogris6159 There are entire threads on the Fractal forums about it that go back several years. It doesn't seem to be a top priority, I'm afraid.
@@mikedrennan5827 I hope they will listen. Next year Helix 2 could be a threat.
Nice, but when you swap scenes afterwards, the scene settings in controllers don't follow i think, that's a pity
I love your videos leon really i watch your videos every day this video its amazing and awesome 🎸🎸🎸🎸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌟🌞⭐🇺🇸🎸🎸🎸🎸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Yeah, I really wish that we could use channels for amp blocks seamlessly without any audio gaps on the FM9.
Latest Axe-Fx III beta firmware just added gapless switching!
@@G66eu Finally. Nothing like a Fender Tone Master Pro to push things along.
