Coming back to this tutorial after some years. Loved it since the first time I watched it. Now I got the chance to meet Andrea himself and he's amazing!
Andrea Belluso thankyou for showing us these flashes, and accessories, and shooting with a phase One, nice to see, as most people doing this sort of video, use cannon, Sony or Nikon 35 mm gear, where some of us want to see how the pro's use the phase One gear, (because we want to buy some ourselves, and need to see how they are used, opinions of ease of use, etc.) as the In-built Profoto triggering is one of the bonus things with Phase One cameras, No external triggers /wires to worry about; also you buy the ONE light system, and ALL cameras can use it, cannon, Nikon, Sony, & Phase one!!, so the light quality can be maintained no matter which camera you use, or what genre you shoot on any day, or if you buy a B 10 first, then upgrade to a B 1/B 2 later, quality is the same, and so is the trigger solution :-))
nice to see a Plane shoot, NOT just portraiture!!, good to see this Profoto, and to know all your gear is NOT just for this style of photography, keep it up, and maybe give us some car / train / boat photography?
Wonder if Peder Ek asked you to do this or you convinced to do a shoot like this hehe. He looks like a very humble man though. Was this for your portfolio, for work, or for fun?
Yes, you can. When attached to the RFi speedring, they fit perfectly onto my B10X-plus and D2 heads. However, if you're only using the B10s, you can save some money by choosing the OCF series, which is designed for lower-power heads (< 500Ws) that don't produce so much heat. The RFi series is more expensive because they're designed to withstand the intense heat created by hotter, higher-power lights, such as the Pro & ProTwin heads, which can deliver up to 2,400Ws & 9,600Ws of light, respectively! Personally, I got the RFi boxes so I can use them on all my heads, not just the B10s. Also, the RFi versions are built like a tank. They feel like they will last a long, long time.

Gorgeous photo and great explanation, thank you.
Great shot.
This man loves the word "crispy"
Even to describe a softbox.
spelling, your style is outstanding
What music is playing in the background ?? I really like it. Great work, would love to see more videos.
yeah what's the music
I would imagine...that unless he created the music himself...he would need to put the link to the creator of the music by law.
If you mean the intro and end song, probably is a Belluso own sound, i like the sound, sounds cool
Hi, nice! I wonder what the 4th B1 with the Magnum Reflector was for... Very high above for the light around the plane on the ground?
I think it's the splash of light on the wing tip, near the top center of the frame.
Those gloves are badass, Andrea;)
Yes, I love your gear and stile, outstanding teacher
I learned a lot from your video. Thank you for sharing.

Great work Belluso :)
Very impressive, you're really good... I hope one day i'll be just as good
also, can you use these soft-boxes on a B 10, or are these "R.F.I."accessories just for the B 1's?

Amazing work!! Which settings did you use in the camera?
Thanks!

Result is amazing.. I still did not get the position of main light..
