I can't say why anybody else is addicted to them, I can only say why I am. To me, these movies are character studies, no more, no less. Some surprise me and have a plot going for a minute (and those are few and far between) but, to me, the rest are character studies that make you think of a psychology class. But hey, I'm addicted to them, plot holes, bad scripts and all.

Ok it seems that after watching all these dramas all my comments are complaints about the writers. Super tired of the increasing violent abuse against the wife...the wife being a door mat, the 2nd ML being used and tossed aside ( unless he is one of the very few that have evil intentions).Also tired of the husband never being punished by law, and the incredible over used kidnapping plots and knife attack that brings the wife back! Its like they have one set of writers and they give each of them a starter plot and say finish it, they are all cookie cutter stories! If I knew how to get it to the right people I would sure write a letter of complaint and give them a list of DON'TS!

He was still a scumbag at the end. It is laughable that he thinks he can just say he’s sorry and be excused from all of the abuse and destroying the ashes of her dead baby! The fact that he showed up at the grave marker and had the audacity to tell her that they would have more children was a testament to the fact that he does not realize how much harm and trauma he caused and is not taking responsibility! It he loved her (which of course he did not) he would realize that his presence in her life is bad and only serves to hurt her further.
But, of course; he is only concerned with his own wants as usual.
