I love the video,haven't got around to seeing The James Hunter Six yet as I'm from Dublin.I think there is a Rhythm & Blues cruise on as I speak, from Florida-Montego Bay.I purchased the new lp just last week,all I have to say is to get out there and purchase a copy.Great band,and as some people have said in the comments that the album is reminiscent of the People Gonna Talk album,I would agree,but more mellow!Brilliant saxophone breaks,Funny parts in the video which are enjoyable.Its a very enjoyable record as you would expect from a band as good as The James Hunter Six.Thank You for the upload! Love this music and have seen this fantastic band several times however James is not exactly receptive to the fan that loves his music. I made the mistake of telling him how much I love his latest CD and was asked to specify which songs I liked so much. Since I had actually purchased the CD and could name the songs that I loved (Gold Mine & Heart Break) I was able to answer his question but it wasn't the exchange I'd expected from an artist I'd admired. I know James and the band have a long history with Daptone out of Brooklyn and being born a born and raised 'Down Home Girl' from Brooklyn this is not what I expect from an artist I admire.
Maybe he wanted to know if a song u loved was one that was especially meaningful for him. Also, temper expectations when meeting those u admire. They are people just like us, it could have been an off night. There are many possible reasons as to why he is the way he is and interacts in that manner, he could just be very egotistical. Who knows for sure.
Musical Genius a mix of old school blues and jazz with a big band sound. How can you not love his music?

More classic soul from James Hunter. The best UK artist that the UK has yet to discover. Wonderful stuff.
