Thank you for this because I keep forgetting when I'm supposed to Ch 1 lol.. EDIT NOTE: .. Oh! I get it. The corner is just a granny square cluster ;) Duh. I feel silly.
This is the best first project for beginners!!! I learned single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, magic circle, the cutest scalloped edging- and have an adorable granny bandana to show for it😭❤️ thank you so much, I am so excited to learn more now!
I just finished mine and I’m so proud! This is my first crochet project ever! Definitely recommend for beginners. It took me a couple times to get the magic loop down but I finally caught the hang of it. I had to rewatch a few times in 0.5 which helped a lot. To those struggling, don’t give up!! You got this!! Watch in slow motion, rewatch, attempt and be patient with yourself! ❤️
I have been trying to get crochet down for over a year, and even though I frogged this 2904980928250 times, I finally got it!! Now slip stitches, magic circles, single and double crochet all make sense. Thank you for the wonderful video, and now I have a beautiful bandana!!
I learned to crochet as a child but never really got past granny squares. 40-something years later I am reteaching myself and this bandana has been my first project. Your directions are so clear and easy to follow - thank you so much!
Thank you for this! I wanted something quick and easy I could whip up this morning for the sunshine, and this was it! *****A little tip that Beginners may appreciate, put a stitch marker in the top of that chain 3, under both loops as soon as you make it. It makes it so much easier to go back and find it, and also with cotton you can use it to pull up the yarn and open the hole, being that cotton doesn't stretch much.****** 🙂
hello hello…You’re the only one (I’ ve watched many many )..that shown us how to circle the magic stitches VERY VERY CLEAR and everything else.. MANY MANY THANKS to you again..hoping all the best will go to your way..
This tutorial is amazing, I’m a beginner and only knew how to single chain before this video. I sized down by doing less rows and now I have cute little bandanas for my dogs! Thanks!
I forgot that bandanas on dogs necks are a thing, I was totally picturing them with bandanas on their heads which would be a look honestly. Adorable and funny
Not only is this my first time making a bandana scarf but also my first time doing any kind of granny square type of project and I picked it up right away, I have a very hard time understanding directions, but you made the directions very clear and showing the step by step slowly helped immensely. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much! I tried to follow a younger girl who said she would show how to do in an easy way. BUT! She was crocheting so fast you couldn’t see what she was doing. Your video is THE BEST! Thanks.
I’ve been wanting a crocheted bandana ever since I bought one last year at Target on sale. I love this pattern and plan to make myself several of them. I know they will look pretty in variegated yarn colors as well! Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! I love the way you take your time showing and explaining how to crochet the different stitches and patterns they create! You’re a God send!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wanted to THANK YOU for making this tutorial very easy to follow, unlike many that are here on YT!! I've been crocheting for years & am teaching my daughter in-law to crochet. I look for tutorials that are WELL DONE so they're easier for her to follow without getting frustrated as everyone does when they're 1st learning. Again thank you ❤
It’s really helpful the way you zoom in to show the stitches. As a beginner I often get confused about which part of the stitch to insert my hook. So, thank you for this helpful and nicely paced tutorial ❤
Thank you so much for a concise and easy to comprehend video..this was super easy..other ppl made me cringe so bad for dragging the tutorial..this was perfect and will always be my go to vid in the future!
I loved this! The project took me a couple hours to finish, and with a color changing yarn it looked amazing. I’m super new to crocheting and your tutorial was so easy to follow, thanks for sharing!💛
THIS WAS SUCH AN EASY TUTORIAL! I was able to finish this in 2-3 hours. I am a beginner so the clear guidelines and instructions was very nice! Thank you :)
You taught me very well and I appreciate it because I wear head coverings and am a beginner crocheter. My work turned out very well and I am so happy about it. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach.
I've crocheted since I was a teen (so 15-ish years now) but only ever done scarves and blankets because I was only ever taught a double crochet stitch. This is the first project I've ever done that is a shape other than a rectangle, haha! It was super easy to follow and turned out really pretty. Thank you so much for sharing! :)
I tend to learn things like this quickly when I have a good example of something and this tutorial was amazing. I understood right away and everything makes sense and is very clear to follow.
This has to be one of the best and easiest to follow tutorials I’ve seen in a long time and I’m happy that you zoomed in super close on the tricky parts. Thanks a lot and I love it❤
I learned how to make this through your video a few days ago and now it’s all I’ve been making! I have this memorized now, it’s my favorite. Thank you so much :)
This was only my second project. I put the speed on half and it took me a little while to understand the pattern of stitches and the flow of what I was doing but it got easy fast! I created 22 rows to make a cute little bandana top. Just have to add a little tie that goes around my neck and a couple strings that connect it behind my back :)
Just finished my bandana! Wish I could post a pic and show you 😂 it's a tan/khaki colour with a dark forest green around the scalloped edge, then a dusty pink with the end ties, and I weaved a chain of the dusty pink under and over through the scallops on both sides meeting down at the tip/point of the bandana and tied into a lil bow! It's so cute! Im so proud of it LOL I'm crocheting a matching crop top w it now! ❤ Thank you!!!
Thank you for this great tutorial. I made it in a soft pink color, and I sewed a strawberry applique on the bottom of it. It turned out so adorable My granddaughter will be wearing it to the 2024 strawberry festival in Vista CA in May. She is so excited. 🍓
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial with us! I love it, I'm a beginner and I've made 3 bandanas now with no problems. So cute with or without the scalloped edge detail.
I love it! So easy! I did a half double crochet for the scallop to save yarn and works just as good! Love it! I only chained 40 for each of my ties, too :)
thank you for the wonderful tutorial!!! i just finished mine and i stayed up until almost 4am working on it! i didn’t even realize the time LOL i was too into it 😄
Great video, thank you! Taught me exactly what I needed and you explain it clearly. Also A+ for not assuming we already know/are comfortable with this by taking your time and being patient. Well done 🎉
I was just watching a different video for this same scarf pattern and was so lost I frogged it 😭 I didn’t want to give up though so I am very happy I found your video!! I already have the first triangle done 🥹🎉 the way you explain everything is so easy to understand, I really appreciate you sharing this! 💜
This was super awesome to fits perfectly and is an easy project only took me two hours to make but I was also busy taking care of a three-year-old so very fun project
Your video and teaching skills are Suburb! Hopefully one day I get the nerve to start making tutorials on Knitting and crochet. Would love to be as good as you. 😊 Thank you
Im a beginner and I LOVED this video! Thank you soo much for making it so easy to understand! You earned a new subscriber ! Plus, this bandana is beautiful! Thank you thank you!🤭🥰
I think this could work well with Lion Brand 24/7 yarn as well. I’m growing addicted to that stuff lol. That is mercerized… looks like your yarn might be to. Amazing yarn! Thank you for this cute pattern ❤
I just made this & I'm obsessed! Thank you for being so clear with your instructions. You're my new favorite & and I can't wait to try your other designs!
This is a very good tutorial, and it's very easy to follow. The bandana turned out super cute (although mine developed a curve in the longer edge so I'll probably make another), and the the scalloped edging is ther perfect detail to finish it.

omg thank you! I prefer working with written patterns so this is wonderful thank you so much!!
I have a question. Why is my head scarf becoming more wide and not gaining as much length as the photo? I’ve been so frustrated. Please help me!

I have ADHD, and how you explain things and break them down makes it easy to concentrate and follow along! 💛
If you have ADHD, then what do I have??? She is much clearer than most people, but this is still far from easy for me.
@@Hadassah7000 ADHD has diff levels lol
@@Hadassah7000 I agree. I too have ADHD and this was really hard to follow.

If you are using a stitch marker would you place it in the first or last chain you make for chain 3? I’m not sure which is considered the top 😅
@@Hannahalloweeni think it would be the 3rd one and I’m only saying that because it looks correct when done that way so not totally sure!
Thank you for saving my life 🥲
