I know a person who recently had a broken jaw along with nerve damage. She chose to wear a mask for a short time just to cover the damage until some healing could occur.
I wear a mask when I go out in public is because I’m currently sick with a cold and I have a horrible cough. I do not want to get anyone else sick, so I keep my germs to myself. It is called having respect for my fellow man and wish others who are sick do the same thing. Not everyone that does something that you are unfamiliar with, does not always fit into your stereotypes.
