Why spend money and time on a car if you can’t drive it as much as you want, daily driving a full cage drag build makes as much sense to me as a full stance low boy. But a LB/Rocket/Adro or similar wide body kit with a less aggressive wheel/tire package and a balanced approached to suspension tuning is far more appealing to me. I cant understand how people get mad on a car they dont even own 😡 , like dude did i stole your money to make my car like this? NO!! did i build the car like this for you? NO! is the car yours??? NO then there is absolutely no damn reason to hate on a car Thats not yours, some people see builds as a competition but thats not how it works

The first origins that I can think of were the drawn car caricatures in the 90's. I guess someone took it to heart and decided that he should too render his car inoperable. They (cars) are like overbred dogs and I feel sorry for them.

I’m not a huge car guy (I’m a Defender guy), but I always thought the negative camber came from people chopping their springs poorly for a cheap lower. 🤷‍♂️

I'm not into excessively over stance bro vape squad cars myself. With the right setup you can get an actual good clean look and be fully functional.

  • @PH03N1X_83

Some stance cars look cool, but it's just not worth the money IMO to make parts of a car unfunctional for the sake of looking good. I have the same opinion about high horsepower street cars that never get driven because they are always broken. It's just a number to brag about. I personally build my cars to be fun to drive (it is a car after all) and look good at the same time without overstepping the bounds of either. Call me boring or even cheap, if you will. That's what makes the car community so great though, we all can come together because of a common love for the same thing. We just express our love differently. To each his own. I won't knock you for it.

Hellaflush and nice fender to lip is appreciated by most, but the excessive camber on a car with already little to no performance (REGULAR TRAFFIC) usually attracts the most annoying of owners and at least where I’m from poisons the well of the car scene. Nobody is gonna want to take out their gtr or zr1 to park next to a slow BRZ with nothing but phuckboy mods lol.

i think stance cars are kinda cool. building a car should be all about building a car you're proud of right?
if your priorities lie with making a car you think looks nice, then go ahead and build your stance car... if you want a drift car, build a drift missile... track beast? go off... drag car? keep your chin high, king...
all styles should be respected. it's art. everyone can enjoy what they want.
i just want to be proud of all my future builds, and i hope you all can be too.

If stance is your particular cup of tea and you build a wicked stance car, that’s awesome.
But like, don’t look at a car I just bought and go “dude you should totally slam it” and go on for 3 minutes listing cool shit *to you* that I should do to *my* car.
Most of the stance people I know are pretentious and hate good driver’s cars because “dude schassismiatasupra350zrx7s are too mainstream. You should be more unique and give less shits” and hate cool stock cars because they’re stock.
I primarily would rather like to drive my cars and have fun than be seen in them and feed on the reactions of other people.

it depends on you, whatever what people said just enjoy your cars as stock as possible and stay away from them, everyone has their own taste... i have a bagged 2010 Accord, and why should i bagging my car? well, because isn't for those "SchassisMiataSupra350zRX7GT86s dudes fanboi" reactions even thought i really like their car too but that's for my own enjoyment aesthetically..as long as it's still drivable and didn't scrape like a cheese on the grater , it's ok for me.

@@SosokPenungguRumahMantanmu I don't have an issue with people that bag their cars. Its the static stance guys that just plain suck. Scrapes and sparks aren't cool, it's just breaking shit. For the amount of money spent on ruining cheap pieces of shit and replacing them at a loss, they could buy something nice and add good modifications like better suspension and a turbo kit/tune. I like stock cars but I like sleepers and performance modification more.
Like build a car for functionality or something, why are people so interested in cutting springs or adjusting suspension as low as possible, running open headers, extreme camber, hentai sticker bombing, quick release steering wheel, and putting wheels worth more than the car on a subaru forester or some shit just to watch people's faces sour at the sight of it and "piss off the haters"? It's fucking cringe bro and an absolute waste of time/money.
Then again, it's not my time and not my money so idgaf what they do personally. If you're gonna wear a clown nose and red wig into a supermarket, just expect people to make fun of you is all.
"Everyone has their own taste" static stance is not a "taste" unless you like the taste of cat shit. That's like calling yourself a foodie and only eating mcdonalds. I have a lot of respect for different car niches, but not that one in particular mostly because 1. it's super fucking lame, and 2. those guys are always hottest on the case about trying to get you do to that shit to your car and going "why do you care so much?" when you say no.

@@SosokPenungguRumahMantanmu When I say "if stance is your cup of tea, that's absolutely cool," I mean guys like you that bag their cars and keep them nice and undamaged and/or stance good looking clean cars. Its the broken turds on shiny wheels that make me go "why dude?"

@@mcvilllain ikr that's kinda cringe tho ngl, yeah feeling like they're on the top of modification cultures especially putting hentai sticker & static, when i was a highschooler i had a 1999 Nissan Altima on static suspension and daym kinda pain in the ass, struggling on the driveways, potholes & speedbumps, blown diff & leaking oil pan... and also i don't really like straight pipe with shotgun exhaust uuhhh it's sounds horrible for me, but it's ok for quick release steering wheels. I have too

Bosozoku cars are pretty wild, but at least someone driving a bright yellow 90s Dodge van with shakotan exhaust and spray painted murals of Buzz Lightyear on the sides has enough sense to know their vehicle isn't cool in the traditional sense of the word. Slammed cars get hate because of their owners, not so much because of how they look.

    Simple:
    -Ugly (a.k.a not my taste)
-Decreasing handling (for excessive ones,. I know the small stance (around 5 degree) improve the handling)
As a bit of truck boi, I am happy to see 6-7 inch of ground clearance and small gap between the tires and the arch wheels.
