More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.

The yachts: their owners should be charged those fees, and on nonpayment, either their overseas accounts pay them, or the yachts be seized and sold.
They should have been sold and the money used to fund Ukraine already a year ago. It’s all stolen Russian wealth. Without Putin these yachts wouldn’t exist.
Only problems I see are that this mostly profits the uber-expensive marinas storing these 'ships' & other lovely billionaires. Without doubt marinas will claim extravagant "costs". On the other hand, Putins "first man" Patrushev is no longer head of the Security Council, Shoigu takes his job now.
This move is pretty bold and says more about Putins trust in Shoigu than Patrushev. Shoigu doesn't lose influence but Patrushev, who's pretty good connected with the fsb (the fsb literally "rules" Russia), is left in the cold. Hmm... Could mean the military strengthens its role and the fsb loses "some power".

Ukraine is restrained by not being able to use NATO weapons outside of 91 borders so basically have to wait till they enter territory before taking out personnel and equipment instead of destruction of said at gathering centers in Russia.
Except UK weapons which they can use in Russia.

Kind of a rough calculation, but it appears that based on the numbers the Ruzzians have only about 2039 artillery pieces left, but a few more from acquisition, repair, and new build. That would mean that they could potentially exhaust their artillery in as little as 60 days but certainly within the next 180 days.

Part of sanctions should be a clause that ALL ic chips shall be tracked to end user. Any sales to middlemen need to stop and only end user is allowed to purchase any type of computer chip along with verified proof of use.

You would think...but someone is lying to us. If they stripped every tank from every border, it's still unsustainable and very dangerous.

The artillery has taken major losses and seems to be exponentially increasing by the day. Fuel trucks and fuel and oil depots and refineries make Russia a poor logistics military
At one point it wasn't uncommon for Russia to lose 40+ tanks a day
But you can only sustain that rate of loss for so long before you don't have any more tanks to send into battle to be lost
Artillery was also being lost at a rate of more than 20+ a day for a long time last year
But that was before Mike Johnson decided he wanted to kill Ukrainians by withholding aid
This is basically why they resulted to meat grinder tactics, everything else failed so they flip the table and throw biomass at the wall hoping it breaks

I would suggest that creating and manning and air defence umbrella over western Ukraine to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure, would be more sustainable. While allowing Ukraine to relocate its air defences further to the east.

@AutocracyTV (RFU), as regards to total Russian hardware percentage loss, why wouldn't you use the numbers provided by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in their "Military Balance 2022" book? I mean that you appear to be applying a discretionary discount on in-storage totals, for 2022 totals (active + in-storage) of 10,000 MBT, 20,000 IFV+APC, 15000 artillery systems. (see Wikipaedia: Russian Ground Forces, not counting Airborne and Marine forces). Of course, some vehicules in storage are/were only used for spare parts, but we don't know either how many vehicles the RF can actually produce monthly. I think that this could balance that; plus we are not children to be disappointed because new numbers would be lower than the current ones.
With the full IISS totals, assuming that official losses provided by the Ukrainians are a good meter, we come to (roughly): 56% MBT, 55% ACV (=IFV+APC), 67% artillery systems (assuming the Ukrainians don't count low caliber mortars, etc), that is 15 to 20 points bellow your figures.
Moreover, don't be shy, please add a percentage for MLRS as decommissioned ones seem to have now grown past 25% of 2022 totals (1070 losses against 1000 active + 3200 in storage).
French boots in Ukraine will strengthen their armed forces with battle experience, rest weary Ukrainian forces and protect their neo-colonial interests in Africa. Ukrainian security is European security.

That’s what I was thinking of regarding Russian yachts. They are expensive. People say a yacht is a hole in the water lined with wood (or fibreglass) into which one pours money. You save these oligarchs a lot of money by taking them off their hands, the opposite of what you want to achieve. Better to sell them ASAP. But... chances are if you sold them they would sell for low prices. And guess who would buy them? Russians. The only advantage of seizing yachts is it looks like you’re doing something. Rent them out and make money from them and everything changes. If nothing else, use them as apartments for the homeless.

We shall also see how much relatively invisible power Patrushev wields. It might be predicted that this common shuffling by Putin may well become a step over the line of his own limits of power.
While Estonian official now speaks of that nation putting its boots on Ukraine ground, Estonia has been the most generous with its armor, gifting much to Ukraine. Estonia will need much more, and modern. Eastern Estonia has some pro-russian russians in it, though they may be of advanced age.
The EU and Ukraine may be more understanding and advanced in their unification than Juzzie may be aware. While Germany, pop. 80 mil+ is recalcitrant, they do not control Bruxelles. Macron and EU are more strategic & circumspect insofar as officialdom is concernned.
The peoples of constituent nations are more aware, than some big-money-influenced politicians, though almost all EU is more composed of actual democracies than the USA or putinpuppet Hungarian bosses.
One worries about the Baltic 3, but Poland and Cezchia are pretty firmly determined. Barring the nukes that so excite people, russia is a weak cardhouse in comparison with several. Only size and submissiveness of russian population, in part an artifact of its internal policing agencies, makes it seem formidable.
Everyone eyes it as economic powerhouse, having previously massively supported its extraction economy.
For those suffering from belief that human affairs are significant, (remember Zaluzhnyi on "do nukes matter to a dying Ukrainian?". Neither does any other issue or vanity. Life, autonomy, individual integrity and fulfillment are a bit beyond other obsessions),

(a) 10% of the total fatalities from the Soviet Union’s disastrous 10-year Afghan war of 1979-1989;

Yet, in both cases, casualty rates were so high that the USSR, and subsequently the US alliance, decided to abandon operations.
