Hey guys Chris here. We just finished up Fanfest and it was AMAZING. Mike will be talking all about it on stream and we'll have a TDP to come going over the experience. I thought I should record the crowd's reaction to the trailer like Jesse did at the US one - I've added the stream video as well since the dark room obviously blew out the white balance on the screen. Anyway please enjoy, you'll deffo hear me losing my shit behind the camera a bit lol.
@@sundine8876 I'm amused that he's like "I just turned 50, I'm too old to be cosplaying" while happily twirling the sword-staff, using the sword as a pointer, and just generally vibing the entire time with the outfit. And honestly it feels like the Viper glam was much cooler (heat-wise) than the Reaper gear, so I can imagine that was a relief for him wearing it all day.
whenever yoshi appeared on stage and everyone went wild with cheers, i hope he felt that to the bottom of his heart, because he deserved it. dude deserves every cheer he gets, and so much more
Feel so lucky to have been part of this crowd, it was amazing. Thanks for bringing it to those who werent fortunate enough to get tickets, and also so we can relive it again.
@@Dotoku14 This is a minority. They're just being really loud. Considering Dawntrail is set to have the most content in it, it appears the devs listened to the feedback concerning Endwalker.
@@Dastan117or perhaps the devs are doing what Yoshi P told us way back at the beginning of the patches and have focused their energies on the next FFXIV adventure. The patch content for EW has not been bad at all. It is just wrapping up a story and if anyone has ever read a good book, the wrap up is not as exciting as the climax of the story.
It's wild seeing other perspectives of this - this was the first con I ever went to, and it's still unreal how many RUclipsrs (including Preach) I saw. The palpable disappointment at 2:15 still cracks me up!
I can see myself in the audience when you pan right for the start of the trailer! Thanks for recording our reaction! I can see a huge smile appear on my face as it starts!
Its crazy they had to cut around so much to avoid both the female hrothgar(probably why we dont see alphinaud cause every shot may have her there in some way) and krile cause she most assuredly has the new job

Dataminers got the scene and the model is just a lower torso. Infact someone cosplayed as it during the cosplay competition. You see someone with the waist down the same as the cinematic but wearing one of those greenscreen suits they use to edit out people for the top half, heh.
It's just unreal to think that I was in that midst cheering and screaming with the rest of the audience ☺Yoshida entering the stage that way was unbelievable to witness IRL!!!
It's weird... i don't know any of these people in this crowd. But somehow their joy, as warriors of light, resonate with mine as if we were one. It's a strange feeling. FFXIV is special.
I hate FF14 no one ask for this new jobs is a copy and paste ninja with different animations so sad this game turn this way gameplay wise is trash since the end of BB the story is great but now that is over had nothing going for it
it's like saying every single job/class is a copy of another class or job from another game since they got the same function and looks but with different animation it's like saying every other action game is a copy and paste of another because they have the same gameplay with a different look, frame data, animations, etc really dont get stuff like this lmfao
Anyone else notice that the voice saying "what you call the new world" at the end of the trailer... sounds female? It's not any female Scion we know. We don't see anyone else on the ship in either trailer teaser and it's not Erenville or Alphie. I suspect it's the person who comes to Sharlayan and might even be the introduction to female Hrothgar? One can dream right! =)
Their feet we saw do look non-human as well and also like a whiteish gray color like they have fur, I wouldn't be too surprised if she's the reveal for the female hrothgar and we'll get to see her at the JP fanfest in January.
