This will probably come off a little disrespectful, but I don't mean it that way; but Royce is the epitome of the Twins. Underrated, loveable, and a bit battered
I was so excited to see Royce healthy... that lasted 2 amazing AB's. I immediately thought back to this conversation. I hope he is OK and back very soon. I hope this doesn't shake him. He is so talented and baseball is so easy for him it's freakish.
Best case scenario is 6-8 weeks. They are going to have him rest for a month and then evaluate what to do. So sad I'm a huge fan but he literally could get hurt at any moment when he plays.
What you just saw with Royce is exactly who he is as a human being. Humble. Kind. Respectful. And he treats everyone the same. If a kid needs a role model, look no further than Royce Lewis.
The 1-1 House thing reminds me a little of a series of UK PizzaHut commercials where they have a running "club of England football players" that missed crucial penalty kicks in shootouts.
What a super super nice guy. Kinda has a penchant for not answering the question asked...but I can understand those walls, especially how his career has gone so far. Hes got such a chance to go off this year.
After much review, I think I've pinpointed the area where your comparison falls apart and stops making sense: Derek Jeter, unlike Royce Lewis, actually played baseball.
This aged like fine milk on a hot summer day lmfao. Opening Day - Inning 3 - Right Quad So over that team, why was I cursed with a St. Paul birth. 😢Our last World Series win was over 30 years ago and we cheated for it and now the ownership is against investing anything.
The media hasn't done a single thing wrong in the way it's talked about Royce Lewis. Royce Lewis has suffered injury after injury, and all the media has done is accurately report on all of it. Maybe Royce Lewis should spend less time coming up with strawmen to attack and more time focusing on exercises/drills/etc. to stay healthy, which is something he has failed to accomplish thus far in his injury-marred career.
Royce seems like the most genuine, likeable dude. Loved getting this little glimpse of him
Please keep doing these interviews with up and coming stars like Royce 🙏 such a great interview, such a great guy
Love Royce's attitude and will enjoy seeing him on the field this season. Thanks, Chris!

As a lifelong Twins fan (thankfully old enough to have witnessed and appreciate 87 and 91), I absolutely love your assessment.
As a Braves fan, I’ve always loved the culture there. I’d love to see Royce take the Mr Twin banner and run with it.
Twins fan here - not wrong.
Twins fan here. I agree. The dude exudes charisma and positivity. The team and fans feed off his genuine awesomeness.
@@ApexATL Respect to you Apex!
He ain’t a small ball player anymore! What a stud
This aged like milk left in the sun, thanks Rosie
Royce seems like a great dude. Hope you have him back on again

injured first game, you jinxed him!!!
I listened to this on Spotify and I had to come over here and comment how fun and charismatic Royce is, like rose said it "easy to root for"
I didnt think I could like Royce any more than I already did but here we are. He’s just so damn likable.
Always injured tho

Royce! 🙌
So glad more people are getting to see him.
We are spoiled with our infield talent. A full season of Royce is going to be incredible.
Royce would be a really cool recurring guy. He's in a great point in his career to watch his trajectory and chat about it on a show like this.
They could talk more about his injuries
Please make him a permanent member of the rotation!
Hell yeah Royce, shouting out the Freehouse brussels sprouts, my man!!!

Let em make their money!
Nice guy, but they already pulled him on opening day because he's injured.... wish I was lying.
Unbelievable
Grand Slam Lewis!
This guy is like a better Derek Jeter

@@BDizDaBest you’re so witty
@@BDizDaBestanother area it falls short is that Royce actually plays defense
I didn’t want to like him as a Tigers fan lol but seriously great dude!
We're all fans of baseball. There's nothing wrong with liking a baseball player.
I hear that.
Be good to Kenta and Gio 🫡
Sad, he wanted to shed the injury prone label & got hurt on opening day 😔
Why did you have to jinx him
40 HRs easy! Just stay healthy my man!
He made it through 3 whole innings!

Probably should have done a better job silencing then...
Love them twinkies!
Home run, another base hit, and injured. This is incredibly sad.

Also, get well soon Royce! You're a big piece of any hope that squad has this season. You're a badass and so fun to watch!
