I will try to keep them coming Colin, but I'm not getting out as much as in the past, well not any distance anyway. Might have to start putting old unseen footage out like you from the past.
@@antman09ful1 yes it is. we have the 68s and 88s on the flask but that hasn't run so far this year and ran once a week to Dungeness it must be at least 3 months now
Yes Steve, as I film bands in venues I use five camcorders to do that, so I never use the same camcorder all the times for doing the trains, I have Panasonic models which are HC-X900 HC-X920 and the newest are HC-VXF1, on this day I was using one of the newer one's, but I find the older one's are better when filming in the dark Steve. Hope that has helped you, and thank you for watching this video, regards Mike.
@@antman09ful1 Thanks Mike for the great video cam info I have JVC full HD Memory Cam which Records in H64 format but can't edit as not recognised on Windows 10 been told its because format not standard anymore
Great video Mike. Have enjoyed binge watching on your latest selection. Keep them coming.

I know what you mean Mike, but i'm all up for a bit of nostalgia
Super stuff. Interesting mix of movements at Reading West.
Thank you Paul.
Great video as always Mike. Good catch with the cable train on 6V27. Which of course was running as 6X27 because of the point carriers
Well spotted Ben, but I would expect you to know that.
Thanks as always Ben for your comments.
Never thought I'd see a VBA van on the mainline again! That was quite an unusual rake of wagons.
Yes it was Chris, thanks for your comment, ATB Mike.
excellent shots from reading West👍 nice to see 70s pity we don't see more of them in Kent
Yeah Barry it must be frustrating for you not getting many classes in Kent, but thanks for having a watch of my video. Mike.

Lets hope you may get some railtours down your way Barry.
Great footage - that station is one of my regular locations - love it there! Well I love the trains… that part of Reading isn’t so nice! Haha 😂
Yeah I now about the area but the trains make up for that Anthony.
Thanks for commenting. Mike.
@@antman09ful1 you’re welcome 🙂 (as it happens I’m replying from Reading (mainline) just one stop up the line waiting on Scotsman’s return!
Nice one.
Reading West rarely disappoints. Always a steady flow of trains. Well done Mike 🤓 stay safe 💙
I did like the station more Tony when it had a footbridge, to much walking involved now when changing platforms. Cheers Mike.
@@antman09ful1 yes that's a good point. 🤓 Stay safe 💙
More than just a procession of class class 66 to be seen here
Assuming the white 387 units are ex c2c?
Yes I believe they have three ex C2C units there Keith.
Reading west a excellent bottleneck for trains Mike, thanks for this one.
Yeah it is a busy area I agree Steve, which is always a good thing for our hobby. Cheers Mike.
Where's that white Class 387 unit a refugee from? Oh, what silly name do they call it, c2c? Interesting engineering train behind that Colas 70.
Yeah that was a good engineering train to film, C2C sent three units over to help GWR with there shortage.
I believe C2C stands for City to Coast.
Great video.
Thanks for the watching this one.
Great video 👍
That is good of you saying that TE.

Great 90mins worth.👍
It was ok David, some days are better than other, but I was pleased what I captured in the time I could be there.
Great video Mike. Nice to see a 59 at Reading West but I'm not a fan of them
I understand Arnold. we all have our thoughts on what locos we like more than others. Cheers Mike.
The 59s are reasonably regular through Reading West 🙂
