I really liked Anna when she responded in a trembling voice to the speaker, after the end of the match, informing her of Sinner's victory in the semifinals. Being so calm helps her conserve her energy - very quick to realise when she has lost a point and give it up but that allows her to be ready for the next one - she seems better at this than most other players and it's difficult to keep calm in the excitement a match.

She’s Russian, barely speaks out about the war and her family lives in Moscow. She should switch her nationality to Italy since clearly she and Sinner are serious and he’s making her game a lot better

To beat Azarenka is always meaningful. She is a champion and has maintained her high-quality game into her mid-30s. She is an amazing player. But to beat her 6-1 in two sets out of three is a real testament to where Beautiful Anna's game can be at its best. She doesn't have much on-court personality or post-match charisma, but she is strikingly attractive and a very dangerous force when in-form. She doesn't seem physically imposing at all, but that forehand is gold! Good luck in the final, Anna!!
