That's how GTA:V works, basically because they never fixed any known bug related to car behavior when it loses traction and gains speed from it (Mid Drive Speed Boost, Brake boost, suspension lowering speed bug (When u do so - Your car starts to slide, besides fact that you curb boosting from broken suspension), infernus speed glitch in past and etc)
I thought about same, but when u try driving while there is snow/rain - U will notice that snow is more slippery that rain, so makes sense why u get better top speed on snow
Does off-road traction loss affect how a car is affected by snow? For example, does a car with 0 off-road traction loss drive the same in the snow as on tarmac?
I actually like the different weather types, would be better if we could choose snow before the race just like rain & thunderstorm and dry would be default weather. I played a lot of different racing games and for me it feels like dry is boring because you don’t pay attention. But when it’s raining or water on the track, you have to plan more on how you take corners and speed to not go off the track. That’s why I like to mix the races up with different weather types to not get bored, but my opponents hates me when I put rain on 😂
All wheels have the exactly same traction. Offroad wheels can only help with smoothing out the curbs like sidewalks. And even then it only works on cars with "tyres_can_clip" handling flag
I like how you stagger the start of each clip yet keep them in sync. Very nice touch.

@ Thanks for explaining 😄
I totally noticed the snow increasing top speeds on straightways lol glad to know i wasnt imagining that
I love how fast it feels like I'm going in snow, until I crash , and start ping pinging everywhere 😂
you did a really good job balancing the audio for these three clips. nice use of directional sound.
I think I remember that one video you made, "Fastest Weather" back in the day
Still one of my favourites. This was a more elegant way to do it though 😅
I'm actually surprised snow is the fastest for top speed. I thought it would be rain, then snow, then dry.
had that exact same thought

@@JlRlK No, none of it makes sense. The drag on the tires from snow or rain should make top speeds lower than in the dry.
@@chrislorusso433 but it doesn't.

Do all cars gain by the same percentage? If so how fast is the HSW Banshee? 180mph?
Pretty much
Hsw tends to get around 5-10 mph extra it seems
Ive reached 183 in the dry highway with the banshee gts(in my stats) not tried it in the snow yet.
How does weather benefit top speed?
What would be the top speed of the HSW Banshee GTS in the snow?
Probably ~180 mph
is the off-road wheelset better for snow?
Nope

Que? Lol
