Im sorry, but like surely you understand first impressions mean so much. But like theres soo many problems here. The audio is mastered horrendously. It also sounds like you recorded it all on a point & shoot camera, not an actual microphone. Like the least you could’ve done it make it sound good enough to actually hear. Ik you probably think im just being a dick but im not, im just telling you the brutal truth most people wont bother telling you or are too nice to say like family etc. Also whoever edited this did an awful job. Like theres a line that just gets cut mid way through. I hope you take feedback & criticism well because i hope you can improve & make something better.
I appreciate the feedback and I totally agree, the audio is the main thing I struggled with in the editing. I hope you liked everything else though and are excited to see the full project but I do appreciate the honesty so thank you

I must say i do feel a bit bad & i am sorry for coming across sooo harsh, but at the same time i do believe my point of people are 100% gonna skip on this because of things like i mentioned but they wont tell you. And when you’re a small creator i understand how bloody hard it is! I am a DJ & have also just started producing and its so hard tryna get your stuff out there & just get people to come & see what you’re made. Its just so annoying to see problems that are sooooo easy to fix like just using a half decent microphone & spending some more time on the editing process to make it as good as possible. You gotta stick out to make people wanna watch you now more than ever with the amount of high quality content you can get so easily. I like the concept for sure, I’m a sucker for crime dramas, but i just don’t feel like i can watch this when it come’s out if it’s gonna *sound* like shit to be honest. Not saying what you made is shit, but I do think you need to put some more care & thought into things like the editing. I hope your final cut doesn’t have issues like lines been cut half way through the scenes. In any case i wish you all the best my guy. Ill keep an eye out for when its out & i do hope i am wrong in my concerns & it is a pleasant viewing experience. Also again, sorry for sounding like an arrogant dick. Edit: Just noticed on second watch i cant find any mention of its release date? Even if you dont have a date because youre unsure of when it is going to be ready exactly, im assuming youre able to have at least a month or period of the year for its release like summer or fall 2024? If you do, id certainly put that in the description & at the end of the video. You want to give as many threads for people to hold onto/ get their interest or attention to either subscribe or just know for when it comes out right? Also you gotta be wayyy more active on your channel. You gotta just make content for your channel to get engagement, behind the scenes, a sit-down/casual talk with the actors or people involved. Promo e.g “if you like this *enter ss of film posters* then youre gonna love this/check this out my brand new film coming out XYZ” - style format. Whatever works for you, but man you got 2 shorts & this trailer up on here. You gotta have more or your video is gonna get absolutely BURIED in the algorithm . This shit is harddd and if you want any chance of your film working, you gotta work with social media & be more diverse as a creator. Trust me ik as a DJ im in the same boat, just different waters man.
